Hello guys, I bought my s3 from t mobile Germany and so far i had only Problems with.
I had the Software Problem in wich instead of 3.4 mAh He consumed 34.
Solved with the help ffrom bala gamer thread.
I have miui Rom with syah Kernel. No widget whatsoever juice defender premium, brightness on lowest posible, wifi when posible...
I am so angry on my Device Because a friend of mine got the phone from Vodafone and He was with battery on 32%. was using the phone 3 days 12 hours and something about 5 hours of onscreen tine...
My Best was 3 hours on screen time and around 14 - 15 standby. I am Not a heavy User i just like to Chat alot so i am on messenger Facebook all time...
Is this normal? Maybe the whole stocklot from t mobile is somehow defekt Because I have another Friend that bought the Device From t mobile and He got He Same issue... Is is posible to be some Kind of Software Problem? I Checkd alot of roms and Kernels with almost the Same Result.

I am also a new S3 user (migrated from an Iphone), and have been plagued with the battery issue. However, I have come to realize that you can't have everything with charging twice a day. You need to turn off the GPS, and set the WIFI to go to turn off when the Phone is in standby. I have also turned on the Power Savings menu, but will do tests to see if that is really needed. So far 30% Discharge in 5 hours....

Unfortunately, you have to be very aware what you have turned on... or at least that has been my experience after the last few days...
Facebook is known to cause some battery drain. Anyway, you should install BetterBatteryStats (search the foruns, there's a huge topic about it). BBS will give you precious information about what is using your battery and how much it's using it.
Nevermind what I said... 4 hours today with "normal" usage and I am at 45%. The S3 is a battery hog compared to the Iphone.
I installed this morning bbs, ill post the prinț screen when i got my battery empty. An update i just bought a 4300 mili ampers battery and i still cant get the Stats from other members even with this.
I forgot to say GPS is off all the time aswell and wifi only when i need IT.

None of the ROM provides better battery life, which mean there is some problem with the kernel and Mediatek libraries.
Usually phone is @ 60 % before i go to sleep and in approx 8 hours battery drains to 30, Data, GPS, Sync are switched off, no apps running, there is a continuous 4-7% drop in battery percentage.
Worse is when i play ingress on my phone battery drops by 40% / h, i have an app BatteryDrain which tells the approx hourly drain.
Are you all facing similar issue. can you guys please share the screen shot of battery drain.
Okay.... I will give u the solutions in increasing order of intensity..
1)check auto brightness off
2) go to settings and check battery statistics.... Force stop / Uninstaller any app if it consumes to much battery
5)go to developer settings and click on don't keep activities.. Also delete battery stats in Cwm recovery ( not responsible for Wierd stuff which might happen)
4) install greenify , and hibernate apps....
6) install juice defender ( my battery life is doubled )
7) flash pure performance(look in general section) remember to backup. ( not responsible for damage)
7) take the backup of ur rom and reflash stock 4.2.1 ( not responsible for damage)
8) it might be something wrong with ur battery... So go buy another genuine CHD battery or steal it from ur friend
9) Go to service centre and show them how bad the device battery is.... If u have Warrenty ur in luck

Yes I have the same issue what do u have Now, as soon as my battery reaches to 30% my phone gets switched off,
I have tried all ROM but having same issue,
I have flashed Stock 4.2.1 ROM of My phone 919 but same issue,
So what I did I have just replaced my battery with one my friend who is having same Canvas CHD phone, Now I don't have any Battery issue.
And strange thing is My OLD battery is working very good on my friends Mobile,
So he is also not having any battery issue
He is on SamHD and I am on Stock 4.2.1 ROM
So my advice is,
Just try to use On stock ROM for few days you will back to Good Battery Life

You should flash pure perfomance and also try pimp my rom both of them are available in the general selection(remember to take backup). These tweaks will increase your device's perfomance and also increase the battery life.. It helped in my case

Thank you have installed greenify and Juice defender, later will try pure performance and last option would be to buy new battery.
Cant i buy battery from different manufacturer instead of Micromax? Like ERD, MAXX.

I have one better option. instead of buying new battery u should go for battery banks. I just bought nokia battery bank worth 1150 bucks and the benifit is it is not phone specific and will charge battery quickly as it has more mah than normal charger.

I note that you have tried several ROMs. but have you ever tried calibrating your battery at least once after flashing any of those things?!. If not I suggest you calibrate your battery properly and then give your comments.

I bought this phone 2 week ago. already when my phone was in sleep with airplane mod , the percent of my battery was instant about 10 hours. but now when my phone is sleep with airplane mod and i dont use it , the percent of battery is decrease about 10 percent in 10 hours. i do factor reset. but the problem was not solved. i guess when i update the phone in update center, this problem was appeared. now the version of my phone is :
android version : 4.4.2
software version: V10c-AME-XX
how i can solve this problem? and how i can to return to my first version software and cancel my update?

I don't think Your issue is software-related. I've got my Mini for over a month now, and I was dissapointed about battery life on it's first days. Now I think battery shaped its own and there's no problem with battery at all - it lasts two days with moderate data usage.

How long did it take for the problem to solve itself?
I got my phone about a week ago and I was suprised that it was able to last almost 3 days before charging.
Currently battery life is just terrible (less than 24 hours while phone is practically idle, with low brighntness, disabled gps, wifi and data connection) which is quite strange because since then I have rooted my phone and got rid of bloatware.
I have read somewhere that you shouldn't allow li-ion batteries to discharge fully, unfortunately I did that unintentionally,
Is it possible that a single full depletion managed to damage the battery? Or is it possible that I deleted some crucial app?
Phone's electronics and software will protect the battery, so no worry about discharging.
Did you install any messaging app (WhatsApp, Viber, Skype, Tango, Facebook or similar)?
These are draining battery a lot.
No. I don't use those. I even greenified dropbox, pocket and some other apps,
I installed Busybox (I don't know if this is even relevant, honestly I have no idea what am I doing,
I just follow guides to achieve functionality I want )

I don't use custom ROM's, after factory reset my phone isn't even rooted. I'll check out BBS soon and post some logs, they might shed some light on the issue. Built in battery usage app shows that most of the battery (30-40%) is sucked by Android OS
Factory reset did help indeed but not for long, battery worked like a charm for 3 or 4 days but problem reappeared.
We lg mini g2 two weeks and never more battery lasted 24 hours on average use. I see that most say the battery should take 2-3 days with average use but to me you is not no day. After 2 hours of Internet browsing still remain less than 50% battery. Is it normal? What will keep you battery continuous internet browsing?

It depends on your usage and brightness settings.
Normally I keep my brightness below 40%.
If I play ingress in the sun with display at 100% brightness I will get the same results as you do.
I brought Micromax Canvas HD A116 by last august. The phone is not rooted. For first few month it was ok it gave atleast like 8-9 hrs of battery backup...but recently it has been causing lots of issues..it gets sudden drop in battery like from 70% to 20 or 30% then rapidly goes down to 10% holds for couple of hours and then dies out.
I am normal user(less phone calls, average internet usage, average gaming) and it suprises me when I am not using also battery drops like this and it lasts for 6-8 hrs backup only. I don't use heavy games because of this. If I don't do anything then the backup will be upto 9 hrs but it certainly defeats my purpose of having a mobile if I am not even going to use it for phone calls:crying: I also use less number of apps only and they are not power hungry apps...just normal apps.
And also one weird thing I noticed is that whenever I charge it will charge upto 60% and after 1 or 2 minutes it will steeply rise to 100% which is like battery is doing some magic....you can check screenshots I have shared.
And the next weird thin I noticed is that my "phone idle" and "cell standby" percent are always high like beyond 45% always....I donno why... I have compared the reception and also other friends phones where they have only like both stats are around 5-10% only.
Now I really donno what to do with this situation.
Should I go for new OEM battery? Can any one suggest where I can find one online or offline(I am in chennai)?
Should I root my phone? Will it solve my problem?
Should I reset my phone? Can some one suggest best backup and reset solution if you are suggesting this...
Or should go for some other Phone itself(I have moto E in my mind, cuz within one year I don't wish to go for high budget... Now I feel is a bad option for me to have chosen this mobile)

It's coz ur battery s worn out just change it
G kit kat is not available 4 our device so u can't upgrade it
It's better u go to service center Nd order an original battery
But if u want go 4 cheaper stuffs ur local markets do help

Ok if I am to buy battery from service centers can I get 3000 mah batteries? I have searched online I can see like some micromax universal battery available supporting a210,a115,a116...Are they legit?

Basically mate, Micromax a116 is the worst smartphone in my dictionary. My battery drops down out of thin air, bluetooth doesn't connect, wifi is history, fm is extinct, etc, etc.. i just want to throw this piece of good for nothing in the water... (gosh i wish i could!).
anyways mate, the problem is with the battery that the OEM provided you with, buy another battery, your problem will be solved- for a few months-. I bet once 2 or three months are over the new batter is going to do the same drama. Buusha Micromax, and yea i almost forgot, my camera's flash died too.. R.I.P.
P.S. My canvas is just over 1 years and 1 months.

I've had same problem and was lucky to solve !!
I always root my new phones and i recommend that you do the same because it gives you awesome privileges and tweaks !
Now coming to your problem. Some of your apps are using phone processor so dramatically or your battery files are corrupted. Root your phone if you can and try battery calibration (search battery calibrator in playstore for that) do the calibration switch your phone off then let it full charge. That's fine and will solve your problem as i guess. then after install "DS battery saver" (I've tried too many and this is longest running till now).
That's all check your battery performance again and if the same persists then change battery!
PS. Always full charge your battery then let it drain to 20% and then full charge (Battery life cycle that will enhance your battery life)

Dude. You may have a faulty piece. My whole family uses Canvas HD A116. We all have used it over 14 months. Till now no issue regarding anything. So just because you may have got a defective piece there is no need to defame Micromax. For all you know you spoilt it

The screen shots show my battery consumption. I have been consistently getting this ever since the "power saving" option was removed from the latest stable Malaysian ROM. Am satisfied nonetheless

The results have been good so far. Using mobile data all the time, 3g while web surfing, 2g for rest of the times. Maybe we would get around 6hrs screen on time. High performance mode all the time..

i been having problem after flashing to v23 INDIA . battery drains quickly what to do guys ?? i rooted it . also 1 thing i m to mention i update the flashing cwm stuff on system 2.:crying: help me clarify

No use of posting such screenshot when u keep on charging ur mobile. Please post relevant stuff..
I'm a heavy user, myself browsing and using 3g gets about roughly 6.5 hours screen on time, the phone practically uses no charge during standby that's quite amazing
Battery
I am not a heavy user, hence my phone don't dry a lot of juice. I do facebook and twitter mostly on my Mi 3, the battery doing good last a day out. The next morning battery still 25% left. The device is on WiFi most of the time, no data.

Heavy battery usage from 90% to 15%.
Using Dev ROM 4.8.15.
Connected thru WiFi.
Airplane mode.
Automatic Brightness.
Sound off.
Facebook and Kritika are the most used apps.

I have a new mi3 and i'm facing terrible battery life ! i loose 2% in one hour while idling ! Location off Sync off and i have very good signal .. With the same setting and same app i could get much better with my old N4 ! why is that i'm on the lastest 4.8.22

If it's unrooted all you can do is let the battery drain and phone die for once then leave it for few hours then charge it completely while switched off and see what happens.
If this doesn't help you can avail 30 days exchange policy.

As i said, 3g while web surfing & 2g for the rest of time.
Location & sync off.
What'sapp on all the time.
Auto-brightness with the brightness slider slightly to the left of center.
Now I've rooted my phone & have frozen some apps, but it doesn't seem to make much difference..
On stock rom.. 40% auto brightness at night.. In morning 72% auto brightness.. 3g during net surfing.. 2g during chatting.. Wifi whn at home.. No games..

Battery Charging issue
My phone battery sometimes gets charged in 150mins and works fine, and sometimes in 3hrs it charges 20% and gets low very fast weird.. charger problem or bug? MIUI V5 stable India
With same settings.. Final status b4 gng to sleep..
