i9300 soft keys not working after flash
i got i9300 4.0.4 ics i wanted to upgrade then after soft keys not working(back&option) i've tried several stock roms it did work but touch screen not working so i can not find rom can make both working oh yeah i've tried another full lcd same problem i know thats madness but its true so itsnt hardware issues i think i'l b apreciated if someone can help

I posted this topics to few other places with no solution yet.
Right now, I am on with stock ics rom on my LWW
When I flashed any ics custom or stock rom my touch works fine.
But whenever i tried to flash any custom JB/KK rom to my device according to the procedure i end up with a touchscreen bricked device.
Hardware keys works fine. Everything works fine except touch screen.
I really need some help r8 now.
I tried...
1. cm10
2. cm11
3. Super jellybean 8
4. bean streak etc.
All ends up with a bricked touch screen.
then i flash back to stock and everything is r8.
(I should mention that, I changed my touch screen few weeks ago)
Now plz give me suggestion, what should I do?

Everything was working fine on my Samsung galaxy s alpa sc-03e this is the link to the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/gala...c-03e-t2172063, I have successfully rooted and installed recovery and enjoying the few custom roms, then suddenly I installed S3 i9305 rom didn't got the success, then install philz recovery http://www.anniblue.com/xda/xda_sc-0...3E/Recoveries/ and installed slim rom from Note 2 section http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2529266 and then after appearing docomo logo black screen, then I put it on Download mode and installed stock rom but now touch not working. How can i access to this ? Its never happened in my life after installing so many roms in so many devices. Please I need Pro advice ? And also Black Button key is not working, How I can remap all this ?

Also tired *#2663# but nothing is happening instead after connecting through otg cable with a help of mouse the its come to the home screen ?
I have tried *#0*# each and everything is working but except the touch and also my keys switch to another.
Any idea ?

Man, you flashed a rom for another device...Why?
Have you tried a factory reset, or another custom rom/kernel to see if the problem persists?

Well only there are very few limited ROMS for this model, plus I have bring my phone to Stock and also tried several codes but nothing happened and also tried custom roms :s
Ok lets forget everything how can I remap my 2 keys ( Back and settings ) Back key working as a setting and settings changed in to back key, by flashing another rom

For couple of weeks i am having an problem with my soft keys ... when i restart or power off my phone and then turn on , the soft keys of S3 dont light up and dont work ... when i make an several restarts of phone sometimes they work untlin i have to turn off my phone again ...
i have reflashed an stock rom and still same problem ...
now i am on deodexed rom from Alexandr . the android version is 4.3 , and it is rooted too ...
my kernel is boeffla 5.2 stable version but i dont think the problem is with kernel because i have flashed stock kernel and the same problem with soft keys is there ... any suggestion guys ?

Sorry to state the obvious but if you have tried flashing different roms and kernels then there is only one logical option it can be and that is hardware problem.:crying:
I don't think there is any miracle software problem here just a trip to the service center....

Well my phone have the Cyanogenmod Cm 11 Kit Kat 4.4.4 installed and was working really fine , now it has the last update from cyanogenmod, and the other day without any drop or whatever ,my touchscreen started to fail a bit like sometimes it responded and sometimes not, to the point where now the only key that works is the back key and the physical home button, everything else is dead i cant touch anywhere now, can you tell me if this is a hardware problem or a software ? i installed many versions of cyanogenmod to test, but the screen still dont respond, now i have installed the last update 4.4.4, need help please.

proximity sensor of my s3 works continiously on secret menu it shows PROXIMITY:1 ADC:0(0.0.0)
i did every think
flash other stock roms upgrade and downgrade
cleane sensor
recalibrate with many methodes mentioned it stops for few minutes but retunes to work
is it a hard or soft problem
what is the solution a ccording to you please help

but because of somme bugs on somme roms i hated my s3
stock roms always are full working
i installed my stock roms on other I9300 phones it didn't cause any problem
i think that the problem is similar to 'not registred on network' issue

I think that the problem is sloved but i am in test period
I cleaned hardly the sensor till i scared that it is broken definitivelly now it is working
And i test it
