App request and How to disable Sony logo - Xperia Z2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey can someone please port the Xperia z3 settings app to Xperia z2 with my xperia z3 stock rom flashed please. If you didn't understand what I men't was that I have a Xperia z2 with z3 stock rom installed and I want someone to port the z3 settings over to it. Because I want my xperia z2 to look like xperia z3 rom as possible. And also maybe z3 screen recorder, all other z3 camera app and many more. And yes the z3 stock rom that I installed or flash on to my xperia z2 does not come with all xperia z3 apps.
And also I want to disable that Sony bootloader logo when powering on the phone from the very beginning. Anyone know how to disable it?

First - you have to read rules.
Don't post requests here...
Second, I really doubt you have Z3 fw flashed on Z2.
You could have one of ROMs with ported Z3 apps but if I'm correct, there's no good Z3 port (ROM) for now.
Niaboc already said he is working on it and it'll be out soon.
No need to request something like that, just read ROM threads and you'll be informed.
That "bootloader" logo is kernel logo and you can only change it by flashing another kernel.
You have to unlock bootloader to do something like this.
Even then, you won't be able to change kernel animation, you'll have one from custom kernel you flash.
Of course you can edit kernel and change that image but this isn't a place to talk about that.

How many times a day do you reboot your phone that the kernel boot logo could actually bother you?
Jeez people have too much time on their hands..

Please post questions and requests in the Q&A section

What are you discussing here is obvious which is also meaningless.
It is just my opinion and I hope to see some work here.

Xperia Z1 Honami ROM Question

Since I can't post yet to the developer's section, I decided to make a thread about this new ROM by saqib nazm. I'm a big fan of his custom ROMs. I just want to ask if this ROM can also be used with Xperia Neo L. It says on the OP of your thread that you need to be on stock ICS 4.1.B.0.587 or 4.1.B.1.13 Firmware and since Neo L has one of the official firmwares (which is .587), I was wondering if I can install this also on my device. I remember having problems when I tried to install one of your custom ROMs which is Revolution ICS HD even if Neo L is part of the aroma installer. If this can't be installed with Neo L, is it also possible if you can port this to Neo L or Xperia Play, since XPlay ROMs work on Neo L. Thanks
i have a question too.
How to display korean? it looks like doesn't support ...
how about go and ask him directly in his thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2433897

Original Xperia Z1 Honami ROM
Hello guys,
I have a quesiton.
Do you know where to find, which version of this ROM I am using in my phone ? I mean if it is professional or exlusive or extreme. I have Xperia mini pro.
And I can give you the build number if it helps : 14.1.g.1.263
One more thing.
This ROM was working really well for me. But last trhee weeks it is starting to act weird. Mainly when I am trying to call someone or somebody is calling me. The phone will reset on its own. Well this is not happening on each call. But it is annoying.
Do you think is time to re-install the ROM ? As I am using this ROM for really a long time maybe from November or October 2013.
Thank you for your help.
Have a nice day

[Q] JB bugg - incoming outgoing calls

I've bought a Sony Xperia P and I'm very pleased with it besides from that with the JB update there are lots of buggs!
I've read that many maaaany others has these issues too and that Sony isn't responding on the alerts about this.
What happens is that when I make a outgoing call the dialer dissappear and you can hear "hello???" from the receiver, but you didn't even knew that the phone had called and connected!
Also, sometimes the phone ring and sometimes it doesn't, you miss calls!
When there's an incoming call you also can't press answer, nothing happens and it just keeps ringing (or not, sometimes there's a tone, sometimes not). Very annoying! The phone is useless as it is right now. Is there a way to solve this or do I have to go back to 4.0.4????
Some say that JB MoonBreaker v3.5 is the solution??????
Does the Sony Update Service help this issue - has anyone done it and it worked???
Problem with the 3.0.8 kernel downgrade to ICS using flashtool.

Would this KitKat work for Sony Xperia P? But it sais "Good news for the Sony Xperia Z users, they can now update their Sony Xperia P to the latest Android 4.4" - which is it? Would this work on Xperia P or not?
As the previous post said change the kernel, if possible install custom kernel after unlocking bootloader.
I had this problem. I shifted to MoonBreaker, and in MoonBreaker also I had the problem until I change my kernel. After that very few kernel gave me this trouble.

Yes it will work, this ROM is still under development, i.e. in its nightly stage which in turn obviously might with crucial bugs and not stable. Not yet ready for daily use. You can find the development thread in 'Xperia P development forum' this is being developed by percy_g2.
I recommend you not to install as a daily phone driver now, if you can't help the development. But you are welcome to try it.

Thank you for your replies!
"and in MoonBreaker also I had the problem until I change my kernel." So what kernel do I need to use in order to make it work? If you can link to a solid good working one I'd be so very happy!
Then I'll try to go for the MoonBreaker and flash my phone because as it is now it's useless for it's purpose ; calling and receiving calls!
I tried to install the Sony Flashtool - called Emma. But in order to use it it needs registration (!!!) so I don't know what flashtool to use either as some say that and some say this. Can you recommend a good one for me?
Again, thank you!!!!

Nemesis 6.3 is a good choice, if you have some uncertain reboots, rely on nemesis thread to solve it,
Phantom kernel is a good choice for starting.

[Q] How to back to stock ROM on C6833 with CM12

I installed Cyanogenmod 12 on my Xperia Z Ultra C6833 and I wanna back to the Stock ROM because CM 12 give me too much problems.
When I try to flash the .ftf file in to my Xperia Z Ultra using Flashtool and I power on my phone, It stucks at Sony logo (it shows me the logo, then it disappears and successively).
I don't know what else to do to return to stock ROM, I would like it is 4.4.4.
Thanks and I hope you can help me.

[Request] Please port Xperia Z3 Marshmallow Concept to Z2

I think I'm not the only one who wanna use Marshmallow on Z2 with LB, and since the Z2 and Z3 are both based on the same platform (shinano), I think it can't be so hard to port it to Z2. I tried flashing a stock Z3 rom on my Z2 and it could boot, but the touchscreen was working very strange, so I think we should just change specific parts of the rom to get it workin. I would do it if I can, but I haven't got any experience in porting roms. If someone tells me what parts have to be changed to get it workin, I will do it
Did you try some porting tutorials in net?
+1 from me. Even I am looking for same. Hope somebody will take this project.
Thank you

The Z2 can boot up fine with a Z3 rom (I tried it), but the problem is that the touchscreen doesn't work properly. It acts like a touchpad or something, or didn't even responding. Changing the boot.img will fix it?
