Hey guys I'm looking to move my apps to the SD card and am trying to use apps2SD but whenever I move an app it comes up with the message "Warning: App2SD is not supported by your device. Because your device has a primary external storage which is emulated from the internal storage. you can link the app in order to move its files to your SD card" I have a rooted device and I've partitioned my SD card properly using Minitool partition wizard but still the error message shows, any ideas?
EDIT: Nvm flashed Doomkernal on my phone and it seems to be working now

I've installed Hyperdrive via SafeStrap today. It seems that when you create that Rom Partition, the OS seems to have been configured so that "SD Card" is actually internal device storage and in order to actually get to the External SD Card I you have to go to Root -> Storage -> ExtSDCard directory.
Also, when I plug it in to the computer, all I can see is the External SD card and this new "fake" SD Card partition in the computer. I can't even get to the Root of the phone.
The problem is things like Pictures and some applications only allow you to choose "Device" or "SD Card" for storage and no matter what you choose it's going to the same place and this virtual SD Card Partition is almost out of space!
Help!
Any help?

That's the way the Stock ROM works - /mnt/sdcard is the internal storage, /mnt/extSdCard is the external storage.
You can't mount the root because it's a Linux EXT4 filesystem. Windows doesn't understand it. Again, that's normal behavior.
My pictures, music, Ti Backup files, etc. are stored on my external SD card, so it's quite possible to do that.
Fixes and Question
Wrong thread, could not delete. Sorry.
So I rooted my stock MB860 Motorola Atrix with CM10 but it gives me "No External Memory" when I try to open anything related to sd card storage - can't take photos, can't download apps absolutely nothing. I have access to the SD Card it is located in the folder sdcard1 in the file manager. Also my internal storage is not working properly - It used to be 16GB, after CM it is 2 GB... Tried everything - currently I am using MIUI V5 for mb860, but it even won't allow me to download google play because i don't have external storage available, though in storage it says i have an sd card mounted. Please help me it is very urgent :crying:
So I decided to root my device and make a partion ext2 in my sd. but after doing this i decided to try to move a app to sd but this message is keep on prompting "App2SD is not supported by your device. Because your device has a primary external storage which is emulated from the internal storage. You can link the app in order to move its files to your SD card." What should i do help me please i want to transfer my apps to external coz my s3 mini internal is just 4.6gb thanks!
Hello, since yesterday I have a serious and strange problem to your sd card. Let's start that I have a moto g lte first generation. So since yesterday I can't format my sd card, I can't erase the things that are above, I tried to find errors with pc but nothing, I did scan but nothing, though I can move files from sd card to your pc, I can hear the music with the songs placed on the sd, but the strangest thing is that if I update an application , and then with link2sd the move on the sd, gives me an error and if I reboot the phone, the application is no longer updated and is moved to the internal memory, 2.7 gb free space out of 8. If I try to copy some apps on the sd using link2sd I get says "install failed container error", while if I try to use solid explorer and press for information for both the sd card to the inner one, I get says "attempt to invoke a virtual method on a null object reference". I tried to format the sd card with sd formatter however tells me the card is protected. You know me, I'm going crazy ps apps that were wrapped with link2sd on the sd card, they work. :crying:
I think that this apps are in diuse, but now I`m using a Samsung J7 prime SM-G610M, with an android 8.1.0 and 16 Gb in storage. I wanted to extend the storage with a 64 gb SD card, so i intalled TWRP 3.6.0 and rooted with superSU V2.82.
Then I maked 2 partition in the SD Card
1. Fat32 with 29.74 Gb
2. EXT4 with 29.74 Gb
Finally I intalled Link2SD and mount the SD partition in the app. After reboot, I get a message saying that the app needs a "quick reboot" because the SD isn`t mounted. After the reboot, the sd partition work right, but, and here is the problem, when I try to link to SD card, this message shows up.
I don`t know what I did wrong or what is missing. I tried format the SD with EXT2/EXT3/EXT4 even with FAT32, none worked.
Someone can help me?
