Don't worry. You can resolve this. I think your bootloader is still locked. Download sony Ericsson update service tool. I mean SEUS. You must have high speed Internet connection. Switch off your phone. Open Seus service choose your device and go for update. It will ask you to connect your device by pressing back key. Just follow it. It may show that your device already have largest version. But you should continue to fresh installation. It will get your phone back to working condition. :good::good:

Please make sure you have a high speed internet connection. It will download your device's whole OS. I think around about 250 MB or more. Otherwise you will get frustrated in a waiting mode.

I have used SEUS almost 4 times, I didn't faced any issue. Make sure your Internet connection is working properly and OS too. Can you please provide snap for the same ?

SEUS has been discontinued by Sony. It doesn't work any more.
You'll have to use PC Companion.

aww!!ok, i tried with pc companion bt it says that there is no software update for my phone :'( !! is there any way to force it install the stock 2.3GB ,.. with flashtool or pc companion??

I told you already it will show that your phone already have latest software, but even though you have to go for fresh installation. So it will install fresh of GB

[tut] flashing the bricked or dead x10 mini with the stock firmware

hi guys dis s d tutorial for flashing d stock firmware on a dead or bricked x10 mini.....
NOTE: THIS PROCESS WILL RELOCK UR BOOTLOADER AND ROOT WILL BE GONE
Step 1: Download Sony Ericsson update service software (SEUS) http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/supp...ro?cc=gb&lc=en
Step 2: Install it and open it
Step 3: Now do a hot reboot on the device by pressing and holding both the menu and power keys at the same time
Step 4: Without wasting even a single second press and hold the back button and connect your USB cable while holding Back
Step 5: Do not release the back key until the SEUS identifies your device. When it identifies your device, the update option will appear on your screen.
(It may say that you have a latest firmware already, but you click repair anyway and after the operation starts, You may release your back key.
Step 6: Wait until the update process gets finished and reboot your device now you will have a stock firmware with locked bootloader
feel free to hit thanks if this helped you..
kudo for posting this, but many spelling mistakes and excessive use of txt speak like "ur, u, diz" you may wanna rewrite the post

Hopefully, this will be easier to understand (spelling, grammer & punctuation fixed)
thanx for the opinion will repost it soon
You are wrong, restore a firmware does not restore the lock of the bootloader. Your bootloader keeps unlocked always (you need s1tool to relock)

The phone at least has to be able to boot in flash mode. If it's "more bricked than that" it shouldn't work...
Missing "REPAIR" option in SE Update Service
SE Update Service ver.: 2.12.5.57 (last)
Kernel: nAa kernel
ROM: MiniCM7
There is no "REPAIR" option (see attachment).
It was in older version only? Who knows?
Or does anyone know another way to get back to stock ROM and kernel from the kernel and naa MiniCM7 ROM?
I claim my phone. So I need the original state.
THNX a LOT!
The repair option in PC Companion is a bit hidden, mine is in dutch but i try to show you the steps you have to take.
See screenshot 1, support zone, click start
See screenshot 2, update phone software, click start
See screenshot 3, phone not found (or you have the latest firmware), click the repair link
The repair link is not there if you choose update from the mainscreen in SEUS.
This desnt work. I have got almost standard conditions

Nevertheless I try your way. I found "Repair" link. I walk thru all steps, but It shows "No software available" (it was looking more like "update" then "repair") (see attachment). And then redirect me to homepage of PC Companion (with no chance to Repair).
I have got standard conditions:
Sony XPERIA X10 mini (E10i)
with
Kernel: nAa kernel (last version)
ROM: MiniCM7 (last version)
PC Companion Version: 2.10.053 (last)
SE Update Service (SEUS) Version: 2.11.12.5 (last)
THIS SOLUTION STILL DOESNT WORK FOR ME (I THINK FOR ANYBODY WITH SAME CONDITIONS)
Please help. I'm starting to be clueless :/
Thanx a lot.
I have edited my post, it is PC Companion ofcourse...
What steps did the repair option make you take? with me it is:
1. you will lose all your data, agree...
2. computer will be prepared, choose your model - x10 mini
3. it will tell you how to enter flash-mode (unplug, shut down, press back, plug in)
4. it will download the firmware and flash it to the phone
5. disconnect the phone and restart
as far as i know, the repair option doesn't care what phone you have, or what software it runs, it trusts you to select the right model, and itself to find the right firmware for that, no other checks are performed, it just flashes it.
PS: I was on nAa-08 and GingerDX this time, especially for this post i have flashed back to stock. i have bricked my phone a few times when i tried flashing custom roms and it always worked this way for me, even if you are on stock firmware it will still flash it again.

If it was still working after you unlocked the bootloader, then relocking it probably won't break it.
If it stopped working after you unlocked the bootloader, then relocking might restore it.
In any case make sure you're on stock firmware before you relock.

leave your phone unplugged when you choose update, and only plug it in when it asks to connect in flashmode. It can't recognise your phone when it's unplugged and should give you the repair option, if SEUS doesn't do that, download PC Companion, that will do it.
but the pc companion need the phone to be turned on and my phone doesnt turn on

So, what is wrong with your phone then? is your battery dead?
When you start PC Companion and you don't have your phone plugged in, you do the following:
Choose update
It will say: Phone not recognised (or something like that) and in that dialog there is a little blue link saying Repair. Click on it.
It will tell you you will lose all user data, accept that
It will ask you to select your phone-model from a list
It will download the firmware for that phone.
It will ask you to connect your phone in flash-mode (press the back-button, plug in the usb-cable, the led will turn green, the dialog will disappear and it will start flashing.
No need to turn on your phone at all, but it needs some charge in the battery in order to successfully complete the flash (normally a charge of over 50% is recommended to be safe)
please help me find goog firmware for my xperia mini (e10i)

[Q] X10 Mini Firmware

I need to flash my X10 Mini, but I can't find the firmware for It anywhere with a working link. Anyone that still have the file and willing to share?
There are only plenty of links to sites that are down
I tried to install MiniCM7-2.1.9-robyn on the phone and then afterwards it just won't start anymore, so i need to flash it and then use SEUS to restore it.
UPDATE!
I found everything and fixed everything I needed by just flashing It with a stock kernel.
Just use the Repair option in Pc Companion.

I'm not looking for how to do It..... Read the question before you post. I appreciate you trying to help, but at least understand what the question Is first.
I'm looking for the firmware for the flashtool so I can flash my device (.ftf file)
They guides that teaches you how to fix a bricked phone got links to megaupload (that got shutdown not long ago) and multiupload (also got shutdown) for the firmware I'm looking for.
If you can't turn the phone on, then flashtool won't help you. You have to able to turn the phone on to get to download mode for flashtool, or Pc Companion, or SEUS to do their thing.
If your phone doesn't turn on, you've got a hard brick. Which is bad.

No, it can be a hard brick, he didn't do anything to put his device in danger (from what he claims).
He just needs a stock .ftf file for mini, which I was planning to do in the past, but did only for the pro... I am sorry my friend... There is only one solution -to make the ftf file yourself, which is something very confusing and you are going to need another mini to do this. But don't get your hopes down, it is possible, at least...

The phone it self comes to a point where there is some light on the screen, but i can't see the SE Logo anymore. I can charge the phone without problem from what it looks.
If I can get hold of another mini how can I make the ftf?
What did I do to achive this problem??
I tried to install MiniCM7-2.1.9-robyn and it ended with a phone that got stuck during boot. Then I got to a guide where someone said "Hardreset the device and use SEUS", but SEUS always says that my phone has the latest software.

As far as SEUS is concerned, you DO have the latest software. It just doesn't realise that what you have doesn't work. Select the option to reinstall the software.

Only one problem here, I don't have the option to reinstall the software at all after it says that I already have the latest software.
Can it be that the option is no longer there depending on SEUS version?

When seus says you have the latest software there is a bit that says something like "if you're having problems with your device click repair" I restored mine like this last week (two days and I was back on the latest minicm)
I know people say it all the time but you could calibrate your battery
Fully charge
Wipe battery the stats
And run a few full cycle charges.
Worked a charm last time my battery went ****ty!

You need to install the ADB sony drivers... 's1fastboot' requires these. Do a search on google and they will pop up.
actually here are the drivers:
HSPA+ http://developer.sonymobile.com/downloads/drivers/xperia-z-ultra-driver/
LTE http://developer.sonymobile.com/downloads/drivers/xperia-z-ultra-c6833-c6806-c6843-driver/
If PC companion still doesnt work then you will need to use 'flashtool' and can then flash an FTF firmware file.
flashtool: http://dfiles.eu/files/lbbuacfhe
.532 firmware: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B_rMaA9i_MUSRi1zWlpCOXV4RUE/edit?usp=sharing
I was thinking of making a video on how to do all of these steps, however I have to fly out in a couple of hours so wont have time until next week...
thank you .... !! i will try all these ... i have a slow internet..

Next time, don't try to tweak a stock kernel. If you're not sure how stuff works, don't mess with it. If you're not sure about something then ask us before you do stuff like this. There's a reason why we're all here.

3) look for devices without drivers
4) update driver
5) advanced/
6) have disk
7) use the unzipped folder as the location

done
i may have missed a step as I only have access to my Ultra at the moment, but thats what you need to do

USB Connector not working

hello,
my Xperia P's Usb port is now working it's charging but couldn't connect to any PC or OTG Media ....
as PC connection not working so i m unable to flash my phone in flashboot mode.
i tried to consult to service center guys they say as my device is rooted they can't help me fix this problem....
i don't want to loose my phone please help me.... every thing in my phone is brand new and original but as i use custom kernel & rom ...so they are not accepting my phone ....
is there any other way i can use to flash my device to stock ... so i can get it fixed .
i can turn on my phone but it shows no sim no wifi ...
please help...
thanking you
Have you checked that flash mode is not working?
Is it charging when connected to the PC, try another USB cable.
No wifi wuth and without SIM installed?
How this problem began, have you dropped your phone or installed some software?

yes i checked .. flash mode is not working not even fastboot mode ...
yes it's charging ...i tried 4-5 different cables ...i also checked cables with my brother's phone they were working fine...
it started a week before everything was working great i tried to connect my device i thought it would b new rom's problem so it will b fixed... so i try to flash other rom but accidentally i formatted system after wiping data and factory reset ... but that rom hangs as it says unable to mount system...
i try the older rom it flashed but in about phone there's baseband version is unknown, wifi was not turning on and i can't gain root access via terminal emulator or titanium backup or any other root app...
i thought to revert everything back via flashtool but my device couldn't be connected in flash mode... green light goes on n turned to red again and battery start to charge ...
sorry for wrong english ...
but thanks for your interest and reply ...

Did flashtool worked on the same PC before, I mean to make sure it's not driver issue, or USB 3 portm and the phone is shut down with power + volume up untill you feel 3 vibrations.

What do you see in flashtool log when trying to connect in fastboot mode?
Make sure the phone is off before you do.

i also try to get it diagnosed at local street repair shop as sony service center guys behaved really bad with me ... not even check my device they turn it on instead of sony logo it shows nemesis kernel logo so they say your device is rooted we can't accept it ...
i felt v.bad ...
local street repair guy told me to leave my device with hi for a day or 2 ... but i don't trust them so i couldn't do that...
he told me that port is ok it might b an ic chip which get's fungus or any kind of short circuit is happening there only ...
i m totally confused
thanks for ur reply

Just open flashtool lwindow, no flash anything, and connect your device in fastboot mode.
Anything in the log?
It might be the USB connection, I tried to fastboot connecting to my charger, the led turn on blue for 5 seconds then go to charging.
Same with flash mode.

Looks like hardware problem to be, either the connecter itself or chip.
How much would it cost to replace it, or maybe can they check connectivity.
If you enter CWM and connect it to the PC is there any indication it's connected?

i also tried that too in CWm too there's no sign of any connection in pc ...
service center guy said that replacing port is not possible so they had to replace complete board ... n that will cost around 80% of cost of device....
but they won't do it as my device is rooted ...
This happened with my S3 just recently and they swore it wasn't the USB connector if it would charge. I called T-Mobile and got upset and told them I plug in an identical S3 and it shows immediately with mine it won't not even in download mode. They swapped it out for me.
If possible just flash stock firmware via cwm. And send to service center
Correct me if I'm wrong

And how exactly are you going to put it on the device, with no wifi or ysb connection?
Unless by a chance bluetooth is working.

I think even if your device back to stock rom the service center not going to fix it,Why?Because flash a custom kernel mean that u already unlocked the bootloader. If going back to stock rom fix your phone that ok but if not you can't relocked your bootloader that still the same
Correct me if I'm wrong
