You require a service centre repair .
Updating vie Kies and you have warranty .
Repartition flash PIT and you may have lost warranty .
Yes man but i was root before i update... In download mode is say system status:custom... I want help to do it my self...
Read the faqs and guides then man
How to return to stock for warranty is your starter man .
PIT search how to guides that may not exist for this phone as flashing PIT normally is a last resort and often kills a phone .
I have try to Re-partition with PIT but is stuck on "Get PIT Mapping
Easy way around a PIT problem buy a new motherboard
I have search man and no luck... i am trying 2 days now that's why i open a thread... I don't know what else to do...
Once more its simple .
START
You flash the correct PIT file for your phone .
If that fails then you take to a service centre for repair .
END

[Q] Bricked, ODIN won't flash anything.

Im stuck, i've been stuck for 8 hours. Searched and searched and searched no luck. I Tried to root my dads SGS3, successfully installed TWRP, backed up rom but KNOX kept crashing SuperSU. Tried to flash CM10.2, wouldn't flash so when i was restoring the nan-droid, restored fine but stuck on 'samsung' with led flashing. I can get in Recovery and Download mode but still can't get into android. Ive tried flashing 4.1.2 & 4.3 from sam-mobile still no luck. Am i doomed?
-Had all drivers installed before hand so i don't think its a driver issue.
-Can't boot into android at all
-Have no OS installed now since somehow my sd card is wiped now.
-All i have is a connection to ODIN which refuses to flash

If you have an i9300 then you are trying to flash the wrong firmware. If you actually have a T999 then you are posting in the wrong forum.
Suggest you read and understand the basics before you do anything else.

Probably not the right version of the software needed. I would just go with using Smart Switch to restore the correct one.
while trying smartswitch it gives me this error
"sm-920f does not support initializing . please contact our service center"

How do I install a modem with a file *.tar.md5 ?

I downloaded a ROM
XEU-I9100XWLSW__I9100XWLSW_I9100XXMS2_I9100XEULS5_HOME.tar.zip
from here
https://samsung-firmware.org/model/GT-I9100/
to change my modem to see if my phone would be less hot in GPS mode. the only file that there is in the ZIP file is
I9100XWLSW_I9100XXMS2_I9100XEULS5_HOME.tar.md5
which contains

}
and in Odin3_v3.09, I put the phone in DOWNLOAD MODE, check ''phone'' box and I select this big file
I9100XWLSW_I9100XXMS2_I9100XEULS5_HOME.tar.md5,
but odin says the binary is invalid

<OSM> MD5 hash value is invalid
<OSM> I9100XWLSW_I9100XXMS2_I9100XEULS5_HOME.tar.md5 is invalid.

How do I install a modem with a file *.tar.md5 ?
try to flash everything the ROM included, that may help you
Yes I can flash all the rom, but I like the rom I have now and I do not want to reinstall everything. THe worst part is that I have to re-run a pit file to install the old rom+modem

The file that you downloaded is a complete firmware, you'll have to extract the modem from the firmware and then create your own Odin flashable .tar.md5 file containing the modem by itself. Then flash that file via Odin.
These threads should help you get started extracting the modem from the firmware and creating your own modem.tar.md5 to flash in Odin. This was written in the days of android Jelly Bean and Kit Kat, some things have changed since then might change some of those steps and how they are done, you might have to research how to compensate for how things have changed from one android version to the next.
