You should try rooting via
Odin.
They have a section for your phone on the forum.
Low Activity & Legacy devices>Samsung galaxy SL>Android development.
Hit thanks if I helped

Galaxy s2 I9100 and I9100G both have differently hardware configuration.. so never flash 9100G ROM on 9100 phones or vice versa.. it'll result in bricking of phone..

There's no official Ics for Ace. There is not even an unofficial one!

There will not be any official update to ICS/JB. Its still v.2.3.6. But we have unofficial CM 7.2 & 9.1 Its still in the development stage. There are several ROMs available in the development thread, in ICS/JB themed actually based on Stock 2.3.6 and CM7.2 (2.3.7)

Click to collapse
It means you can update it to newer firmwares not newer Android-versions.
I don't give a f*ck from where I sent this from.

Try another USB port/cable combinations.
And remember not to connect the phone through a USB hub
I tried. But no use...

You need a new motherboard
No. It flashes the stock 4.3 jelly bean version... but not the 4.4.4 kitkat version.

The i9300 doesn't have a 4.4 firmware, you are trying to brick your phone by flashing the wrong model.
Ok thank u so much
