Hi!
I'm using CM11 on my LG G2 and I have some problem with contact pictures. I've synced my phone contacts with my facebook contacts through Sync.me app and it did its job quite good, when i go to the people app and open the favorites tab all the pics are hq and looks really good. When I tap on persons pic and go to their profile it also looks good. But when I'm in list view almost every picture looks terrible, it's unsharp and kinda pixelated, the same goes with sms app.
Is there a way to fix it?

Thanks but I don't think it's sync.me app fault cause the same happens when I set contact picture from my phone storage.

but at the same time in the favorite contacts tab in yahoo aviate the pic looks good
The reason I suggested that app is because I had found another forum thread with your same issue and that was the solution. Do with that information as you will.

Thanks for help, but it didn't work I't kinda annoying.
I think it might be apps fault (stock contacts and sms), cause in textra sms all the pics looks good.
I still couldn't fix this, can anyone help with this?
It's annoying, does anyone have the same problem? I tried different programs to sync contacts I even uploaded them manually and still nothing. Is it how it is on CM11 or there's something wrong with my phone?

I use Go SMS on CM 7.0.3 ROM. I frequently (2-3 times a day) get a weird text alert as you can see below.

As you can see, it says 7pm (and always does regardless of actual time), has no sender, has no content, and does not show up when I actually launch either Go SMS or the regular messages app. It is like a ghost alert with no real message attached. Has anyone else experienced this? What causes it? How do I stop it?

Yes I do also get this. I have a DroidX with gingerbread. I get it probably more than 3 times a day. I only get it with an actual text message. i have not been able to figure out what is causing it. Please figure out!!!

I get it everytime i get a normal text.
Anyone figure this out? I just switched from Handcent to Go SMS a few days ago and am now getting these "ghost" messages.
My *guess* is that this may be caused by a combination of Go SMS and some other app. I've recently reset my phone and removed a lot of apps and widgets (like Fancy Widgets and Beautiful Widgets) and haven't had the problem since. Makes me think it may be a widget update of weather or something that is causing this.

I agreed - something to do with MMS notifications and multiple notifications accumulating.
Ive been having it for a little while now, maybe the last month and a bit.

Since I have turned from sense to CM7 I really missed the sense dialer. Not anymore
I found this: EX Dialer
It is a MIUI look a like dialer with a contact manager.

I decided to give it a go because everyone was suggesting it's lightweight and fast, and I guess it is true. It's not natively designed for LDPI (Nitpick). My biggest gripe is that the dialer is a bit laggy though, but I guess it's inevitable when this is not done via a native app.
There's no doubt though its an amazing app, and its free at that. So, if you are missing the smart dialer on AOSP ROM's, its definitely worth a try.

How can u pop up that ? I have no luck too.
I think he means when you press the search key (in dialer) and you write the contact name it shows up.
I guess. I don't see any other way

its the fastest one ive found on the market for free

Has anyone had this problem with Gallery.Blue and green lines on the top left corner and the previews dont load up to a good image quality they just stay blurred even when i open up a picture.

I think it might have happend after i used sd maid.Ive tried reflashing gallery app and wiping app data and still...
Im using Quickpick but still id like to get Gallery back.

Try removing the gallery thumbnails and then give the gallery app a while to regenerate.
The pics usually look low quality while it is still loading.
I don't know what thats up with those blue lines.
You could check the android log to see if the gallery app is throwing exceptions.
If you try another app - like quickpic - for example - does it still do it?

I think thats whats broke it in the first place.they just never regenerated back and blue lines apearred.
I tried flashin fancy rotation+fixed gallery.zip wich worked fine untill i f#$% it up and still doesnt work.wiped data,everything. I might try clearing thumbnails again.

untick all reduce texture and other things restart gallery and
voila. your gallery will be fine..

i have a pain in the ass when i receive a mail with images while the phone is connected to the 3G band.
the image is showing in very low resolution. (i can't even read the text).
but, when the phone is connected to my wifi the image is showed at normal resolution.
i can't find any thread or site where fix this. (or i don't know how to search)
some help for GS2 with ICS using Wanam Rom???

I installed Gmail app because of you, it seems it's part of Gmail limitation.
You can try another app.
For me Gmail app by Google is simply a junkware

no HTML view, no push notifications, etc.

I use kaiten mail and it has everything you mentioned above. K9 should be fine too.

I have no idea what I did so now everything that was on the right side (menu, submit, etc) is now on the left side. The URL bar and etc, which was more towards the left originally is now on the right. I'm sure it's a setting issue but I have no idea what to change.

Wow. I had no idea that was even possible. Is it just for those two apps? If so, then go into settings and clear the data for both of them.

I thought it would be something to LEFT HAND related? but it doesn't seem to be unless if I am looking at something different. It's not all apps but some apps. Looks like you have your setting set to Right to Left, instead of standard Left to Right.
