After updating my lenovo P780 to latest version android 4.4.2 mobile got very slow..
RAM is always below 200 MB.
Can any one help me out?

Hi,
Not sure I can help directly but I also found that the update made the phone slow. I fixed that by flashing to stock Android, but that was quite a challenge (see my thread). If you don't mind regressing a little, try SLX Rom in the android section, it seems very nippy, though it's only 4.2.1 for now.

Does anyone know of anyway to root this phone?

you can root your phone by "iroot".
You can use towelroot app which is easiest one click root method for newbies and also it is safe.

Hello, I just got a Lenovo A916 and I have been thinking of rooting it and installing a vanilla room on it because it came with a few annoying bloatware.
model is Lenovo A916 w/ android 5.0
I ran into a few threads about the lenovo A916 but havent really found anything concrete about a vanilla version of 5.0 for the Lenovo A916.
Could any of you help me out with this? im not a "pro" at rooting, this is my first android device im very new to all this.
