A couple months back maybe 5 or 6 i rooted my phone and got S Off, i then download and installed the Viper3D rom and it worked good . But i wanted to try some other roms . So i went into 4ext recovery and formated and deleted the Viper3D rom zip from my SD card. i then rebooted and though i was just gonna go back to my regular stock android . But it was stuck on the HTC logo while booting up i even left it on that for about 30 mins yet nothing. i then attempted to download a stock android from the internet , i put the zip onto my sd card installed it and then got the same problem.
Could anyone please give me some helpful info on what to do , as i really need to use my phone . Thanks

I described as i download a stock rom and tried to install that and it didnt work , could you please link me to rom i could get any for now with HB Boot 1.53.0007

It says it failed straight away . I think because mine is stuck on the boot up screen , it cant detect it.

thanks for the reply, will this be as well as the rom ? or will it replace the rom i have. I take it the highest number is the latest version, and as such the one i should go for ? once i have it on the SD card, pls can you just explain how to flash it from there... thanks for your help

you flash it like a ROM...but it don't repleace the ROM, only radio's files....after the flash you've got to reboot the phone...it automaticly reboot into recovery mode...it's normal....after that you reboot an other time and the phone starts normal...

thanks for your help !!! only problem now is that i can no get my phone to boot into the recovery,,, i press and hold home, but the phone locks and i have to remove battery. normal start up is ok,,,, dont know what to do now
have you flashed a recovery yet? because the phone doesnt normally come with the ra recovery

I am trying to upgrade my radio from 63.18.55.06JH_6.35.09.26 to latest one 63.18.55.06JU_6.35.09.26 . All procedure is going ok, without any problems.
Veryfying, extracting, installing etc. Rebooting, showing that funny picture that is upgrading(mobile outside box) , then rebooting going in to the recovery mode (RA-hero-v1.2.3) and shows formating CACHE:... and done.
After reboot, I am goiong to check radio version and still appears same xxJHxx
Any idea? Phone is rooted.

JH and JU seem to be the same. some roms show JH, most show JU. i had this case once, i had flashed JU, then it turned itself into JH somehow. what rom are you on, and do other roms show also JH?

I have a Evo 3D on hboot 1.50 with the latest cwm touch recovery. I was booted into slot 1 rom and tried to delete slot 2 and install a new rom, unfortunately I deleted the rom i was booted in (slot 1) and was wondering will it break recovery, or is there a way to get to my phone rom in this situation? All apps are force closing on me and im too scared to cut my phone off to check for myself, fearing that i may have bricked my phone. Please let me know what I am to do

So you have a phone ROM, and then you were booted into SD Slot 1 ROM, and then while in SD Slot 1 ROM, you tried to delete SD Slot 2 ROM?

You need to fastboot to recovery, go to your boot manager folder and go inside the phone Rom folder, find the update zip and flash it.

^^This is the correct answer^^........Bootmanager doesn't touch anything on your phone. Your recovery and your phone rom will still be intact. I would also suggest watching the video tutorial and reading the manual on Bootmanager as these issues are covered in there.

he is correct... and if it still doesnt boot up the most youll have to do after that is manually flash the boot.img file in the phonerom folder... it happens at times.... i use this program too and have several ROMS i switch between
Ok everyone, I didn't think myself a noob but apparently I am. I had rooted my HTC Rezound and flashed the ViperRez ROM. I recently purchased a Galaxy SIII and wanted to give my wife the rezound. I tried to flash a stock rooted ROM with sense and what not, now everything is corrupted, no ROMs will flash successfully, and I don't know what to do! When I attempt to flash an RUU (or any ROM for that matter) with Amon Ra I get the following error: "E: Can't open /sdcard/RUU.zip (bad)".

Can this phone be saved or have I ruined it?

You don't install a RUU with recovery. You need to name it PH98IMG.zip, put it on the root of your SD Card and install it via the bootloader (power down, pull the battery, restart the phone holding volume down and power until you get the splash screen)
Give that a try, keep in mind if you're s-on and install the latest global OTA that came out a month or so ago, you won't be able to use an older RUU.

Okay, so I tried your suggestion mjones, and it went through the motions (i.e. asked me if I wanted to start the update, then went through the update list and gave me the OK on all of them) but now the phone is stuck on the 4G LTE screen. Thoughts?

The first boot after a Full Data Wipe / ROM Flash / RUU Flash Android takes at least 10 - 15 minutes to boot. Its doing optimizations and stuff related to the first power on.
Okay, So i have a Sprint HTC One (M7) I wanted to get Sense 6 using the InsertCoin ROM. So first i had to unlock the boot loader once i did that i needed to root it. I accidently installed Clockwordmod as my custom recover, i installed TWRP recovery instead, i forgot to make a backup.(Stupid me, I know. -_-) But it was working then, i was able use the device, i flashed this zip that would turn SU off so i could flash the rom i wanted. Now my phone wont even let me use it. It turns on, displays the HTC logo and goes straight to fastboot. Does anyone have any ideal to fix it? Please i have no clue. ^~^ I think its the kernel, but i don't know. I'm new to this. .-.

if you still have recovery installed, try to flash another roms, if it's still not help you, go the m7 thread, then find out how to go back to stock rom

How do i flash another rom onto it if it doesnt have a sd card port lol i dont know the phone wont even turn on for me to copy it over to it

You should be able to get to recovery. If so, then you can push files to the phone via adb.
Have a HTC one max sprint network .., im a bit confused ..the one max ROMs ..RUU are the same as other HTC one ..m8 or 7 ...etc
for some reason when i went to recovery and erased the old rom on the phone ..i discovered that there is no back up .. using team recovery .
so know i need or i prefer a rooted RUU or not rooted basic older RUU if possible for this one max .. i found some sites with roms ... but could not see my phone htc one max ..
how do identify my phone what is anther name for it ... and if there is many versions how do i find which one i have ...

hello there again . seems that i do not know what iam doing here at all., so i need some help ..guide .i was able to download 2 roms from online for the one max sprint .,
the phone is unlocked and s is off .. has winteam recovery .. few days ago i went to recovery and not sure what i did .. done .. i must have erased things .. the phone does not boot .. into a rom .,, only i can go to recovery .. if i did reset to factory .. whatever .. it goes and boots to recovery and in the backup recovery area there is no backup .. so i think there is no rom to reinstall .
the few roms i downloaded .. i copied to sd card on HTC max one .. and i try to install ..nothing happens.. i did not change the zip file name .. as i downloaded i go to install and i scroll to the zip file ..nothing .. goes back to recovery
Do i need to rename zip file and when the phone in recovery ..doing its thing .. it will update from the file ...or these phones do not do things like 4G..older htc phones.,
how can i install a rom ..so the phone has an OS .

You don't flash the ruu in recovery. You flash it in bootloader. I can help you flash it remotely using team viewer if you want.
when i used to flash RUU many years ago for evo 4g .. i just have the file on desktop and click on it and it will see the phone and install .. do the whole thing ..reboot all done ..,so the RUU for this phone does not work like this anymore??
I have really slow internet ... is that an issue for remote flashing

Download the ruu. Rename it to 0P6BIMG.zip. Place it on the root of your ext sd card. Boot phone to hboot (boot loader). Hboot will slowly load it and prompt you to flash it.
ok thank you .. i need to try to download again some files .. seem that they do not unzip ok ..if i tried give error ..i know i do not need to unzip when i rename ..to flash ..however , i think i made many mistakes .. some place i read that i need to rename to OP3PIMG.zip........................and you made a note it should be 0P6BIMG.zip thank you i will try and update you indeed.
one other note if one can answer please .. i would like to look for some files in the android RUU or where i can download ROMs for this phone ..when i have access to faster internet .. under what name i look up roms files ruu for this phone ..for example i did not see htc one max ..., i saw some for i think HTC one m7..,or m8 which i do not know about these phones and if they are same ruu. and ofcourse just htc one .
for example EVO 3D .. i can look for files under shooter ... etc .,so under what name i would get the files for this phone sprint htc one max ,
