[Q] Photosphere like app but w/o stitching photos together? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, I have been trying out the Photosphere app and love the interface but its ability to stitch photos together isn’t quite perfect. I was wondering if anyone knew if there was either a way to make the camera app just take the photos and not automatically stitch them together (so they can the stitched together later using an external program like ptgui) or if there was another app out there that has a similar interface that allowed for this? (I’ve only found focal so far and it doesn’t seem to allow non-automated stitching either).

Use headphone controls to take photo in camera apps.

I've seen this ability in the iPhone from online info and wondered if its possible to do on android, however I would like to be able to do this in any app that takes a photo, not just the stock camera app.
Anyone know if this is possible in any way? I've read it may be possible with tasker but I'm not sure how.

[Q] IPwebcam app

Hi,
anyone ever tried this app?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...lt#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5wYXMud2ViY2FtIl0.
It's pretty cool, but i'd like to use it in a different way.
I need it to take photos in full resoultion. I want to set up my phone in a place and then take photos by controling from pc. This works fine with the app.
But: the full-res option only takes photo with 1MP instead of 5MO (HTC HD2)
Anyone else experiencing this problem (also with other phones) ?
By the way: Is there any other app for this purpose? So i can remotely control the camera of my phone?

Best camera app for the TrueSmart?

I use CameraZOOM in my phone as my primary camera app. Sadly, on the TS, it crashes frequently, so I can't use it there. The stock camera app doesn't crash, but it fails to save pics randomly (?)
What 3rd party cameras are you guys using? I dont need high-end features, just a quick snapshot that I can later sync using dropbox. Any recommendation would be appreciated.
Was trying a lot of different camera apps in order to try to compensate for the extremely dissatisfying image quality I get from my TS (are all units crap or might there be a problem with the sensor/wiring on my particular unit).
Anyways, settled for camera 360 for the time being. Allows for correct rotation in the viewfinder (you have to rotate the final image after shooting though) - and it gives me a chance to hide the crappy quality behind loads of effects...

[Q] zoom doesn't work in an app

I have an app I use to take photos and it takes over the camera and flash fine and does the photo uploading for me. The problem is it doesn't allow the zoom to work in any format with the S4 zoom. Is there something I can change on the camera or is this simply a flaw in the app software that is preventing the zoom feature from working?
Someone might know of a trick but I bet it voids the warranty!
I imagine the app is designed just for camera phones in general rather than specifically for optical zoom versions as there aren't many of them around!
I've noticed that the K Zoom can't zoom in when used within Whatsapp.
What is the app you use?
The app is Provision by Vauto. I've talked to the app developers and they said it's not made to work with any zoom. It would be nice if there was a way to make it let me use the camera in its native state because the uploading feature of the app saves me a lot of desktop time copying and uploading photos from a digital camera but the quality of the pictures aren't up to par if I can't use the camera's features. I don't mind voiding the warranty on the phone if there was a way to get around it.
Thanks for the reply!

Best app for editing photos and videos?

Can some one list some of the best apps for photo editing as well as video editing? They can be one in the same or separate apps.

Photos are all I can speak for. Synapses and pixlr are the only 2 you need truly
Snapseed for photos, I know some people who use Lightroom too but I think to get the good version you have to have a subscription.
Kinemaster for video
There's a small learning curve to both pieces of software. Snapseed is amazingly powerful once you start digging into it. I was able to do this composite image using two color photos taken with the V30 and completely edited on phone in Snapseed: https://www.flickr.com/photos/chimphappyhour/37742184676/ It would have taken a lot more work on my laptop to do the same. Only down side is that you do everything with your finger and can only zoom in so far so the masking isn't as exact as on a laptop/desktop. Still, the fact that that is even possible is amazing.
