Hello all!
I have a problem with WhatsApp. I have lots of groups so I always receive about 100-200 messages every time I turn ON wi-fi or data.
Messages were always received together in a few seconds but it has two weeks I'm receiving messages one by one and it takes also minutes.
What do you think is the problem? I've a Nexus 4 on PA 4.6 b3 (yes, I've tried to change ROM but nothing!)

I have unrooted galaxy s3 with the latest firmware update, the problem is that whenever my phone syncs with my emails, instead of ringing once to notify me of new emails, it keeps ringing multiple times without stopping. For example instead of ringing once, it will ring 6-7 times in a row ( roughly the number of unread emails by the looks of it) but worse comes to worse is that sometimes I dont even get any new emails and the phone will start ringing multiple times even though no new email has been received. it is extremely annoying especially at night and this issue only started happening recently with the latest updates.
is anyone else having the same issues?
I usually put the phone on silent, but this issue is nagging me, I have tried all the settings menus I could find and tried everything...

I'm having a little (and simple to reproduce) problem with my Samsung Galaxy S2.
When on 3G data connection, about 5-6 minutes after the phone locks with the screen going off it will stop synching any kind of data. It won't receive any incoming messages from Google Talk, Gmail, Heytell or any other similars. Randomly after several minutes it's like the phone wakes up, checks, and receives all incoming messages all at once.
Also it will receive it all when I unlock the phone and I have noticed a little pattern in the antenna signal icons where they go from blu to white to blu again and then the magic happens.
Do you have any hints on how to fix this or make at least more bearable?
When on wifi there is no problem at all and all messages are synched instantly.
I have used a few custom roms (resurrection remix and revolt both with android 4.1.2). I have tried to change modems and kernels with no luck.
I believe it is a problem with jb 4.1.
Is anybody having the same experience or could give it a try?

Two days ago I stopped receiving text messages. I found that I can send them out and they'll arrive on friends' phones, but I simply can't receive them. I can however receive MMS and phone calls. I had this problem once in the past while on the same rom I'm using now, and a simple restart fixed it. Not the case now Does anyone know a fix for this besides wiping data?? I already tried booting up my sim on a different phone but I got nothing.
I'm using Carbon Rom with android v4.2.2
I have now had my M9 for 2 days. As with my M8 on 5.0.2, texting seems to restart frequently. There is a delay on incoming messages and every time you start the app it seems to reload messages.
When you start the app the contacts appear but when you go to a contact the messages area is blank, the timing circle appears and many seconds later the messages appear. New messages may or may not appear for an even longer period.
After several texts you get either am 'Messages is Restarting' message or now I am getting an error report and a request to send data . . . .
This same thing that happened when my M8 upgraded to 5.0.2
Has anyone had the same problem or found a resolution . . .
I am not having that issue, but I am using GO SMS Pro and not stock messaging. Have you tried other messaging?

I'm having an issue with my phone, S21 Unlocked SM-G991U1 (purchased directly from Samsung). This post might be long because I want to include all info to help answer questions that I might already have eliminated possible issues on.
I bought the phone March 18th and it's been working perfect up until exactly 4 days ago. What's been happening is that it will fail to send sms/texts randomly throughout the day. I can be having a conversation with someone then suddenly the texts I'm sending will begin to fail and they will get the ! or endless spinning circle depending which messaging app I'm using. I tried several apps (stock messaging, Google messages, textra) to eliminate the possibility of it being a specific one, it happens with all of them.
I then switched my sim card to another phone for several hours (S8) to see if it was a network issue... The S8 works perfect, no failed texts. As soon as I switch the sim back to the s21 the messages will fail again.
This happens at any given time, it will go from working fine for about 5 messages in a row then fail on every next message for about 10-15 mins then start working again.
This does not affect MMS or phone calls. Only SMS.
I'll also be able to receive any sms messages sent to me without issues at any time, even when outgoing ones fail.
I've tried resetting Network Settings to no avail.
I just did a complete factory reset, also no to avail. I'm lost here.
The phone has the latest update and had been working perfect up until 4 days ago. I can also say that I don't think the latest update was the cause because it started the day before I received the push notification for the update.
I'm on AT&T prepaid.
Please let me know if you have any questions I might not have covered or if you've encountered this issue before or what might be the fix. Thanks in advance!
