his ROM has a LOT of potential. It's beautiful and smooth. But I wiped /data before install and followed all the steps but I am having a problem with systemui force closing after trying to change the wifi, battery, and signal icons. This happened every time and I tried multiple times. Even after fixing permissions it had problems. Am I just being an idiot? Or is it an issue?

Just a few hours ago i installed the new release of liquid thunderbread v2.5 i was hoping that in this version it would fix the lockscreen issue and for me it did, but as it did it brought along a whole new host of problems as far as connectivity goes.
1.Wifi will search then connect to my network then immediately disconnect.
2.i cant keep a steady 4g signal and i live in a very nicely covered 4g area, my data connection will either completely dissapear and or drop to 1x or 3g. and when it does get 4g it will flicker in and out.
3.The GPS still hasnt started working for me ever since i have came to thunderbread the GPS hasnt worked whether i be on 2.4 or 2.5 it wont work.
i just Flashed the new OTA radio 1.70. That didnt seam to help at all
i also running the latest kernal from tiamat 1.0.4
Any help or suggestions as to what i can do is greatly appreciated i love AOSP roms and so far the best to me seams to be thunderbread. Thanks
Wrong place for this, you are going to want to post in Q + A forum.
Did you do a full wipe, then install? I'm not having any issues at all. Also running tiamat

I did a full wipe, wiped cache, dalvik cache, installed in recovery.
Ive heard that restoring apps in titanium can cause issues if so i did do that.

I did not wipe anything and installed this directly over 2.3 and other than no gps lock (which was corrected by flashing a sense rom then getting a gps lock then flash back to 2.5 fixed it) everything else is perfect! I too have heard that Titanium Backup can cause some problems and this is a new base build.
You should try a full wipe before flashing. In fact you should do that before any rom flash. Titanium usually only causes issues when restoring system apps/data user apps shouldn't cause any problem other than random drm issues with the amazon appstore

it seams to have worked except for not having 3g or 4g signal in a 4g area -___-
Running Jamie's cm10.1.
My phone can see satellites, sometimes more than 10, but will never connect. I've tried the A-GPS data fixes with no result. What do I need to do, would returning to stock and then flashing cm fix it?
I've tried other modems, just for the hell of it. I've flashed lots of roms, a couple of them had locking GPS, most didn't.
It's killing me, lol.
Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your reply. I've already done all of that prior to posting, but I appreciate your taking the time to try and help.
No clue what the problem is, but over the last month my randomly phone gets into these periods where it absolutely crawls and almost stops responding entirely. Can only be fixed by rebooting. Latest JB OTA (98.72.16), rooted.
I have tried going into the task manager and killing apps but nothing seems to work. I've also frozen a few of the suspected offenders (such as Facebook) but no help there either. Cleaned Dalvik cache, booted to recovery and deleted cache too. I finally did a hard reset but the problem returned within a week.
How can I troubleshoot what app(s) are doing this? Is there stuff in the development menu that could be helpful?

try flashing an ota based rom through BMM. eg rage rom , jellywiz or even dwiz 1.0
Same here on 982.124.14 Vodafone retail EU. It's driving me nuts. Thinking of switching to CM10.1 to see if that's any better.

U may only find more instability on cm. But that depends from phone to phone. Best choice right now is stick based roms. Cm will take another 2 weeks min to get more stable

Has anyone experienced random reboots on the latest firmware update from T-Mobile?
Don't know how to reproduce the problem to pinpoint what's causing the issue. This is the third time it has happened... Is doing a Master Reset the only option? (Wanted to mention I'm all stock, first phone where I don't see Root is necessary, IMO, just yet.)
Didn't see a need to update mine. Still on BH5 and things are working great.
I guess I would try clearing cache first, from the recovery menu. If that didn't solve the reboot problems ... Clear cache+factory reset but make sure you back up everything first. Full factory reset on the S5 wipes the internal SD card as well. Downloads, files, pictures, text messages, phone call log ... Will be all gone.

I'll give that a shot. Thanks

I don't understand. I try to wipe cache partition and it works on command but once I reboot the phone it says error and it just loads up the phone. What's up with that? Do I need to factory reset?
Some are saying that the volte is causing this. I have turned that off and havent seen a reboot since

That's weird because I've never had this issue until the most recent update. Sigh. This is annoying as hell. Can't even enjoy the phone stock.

Since root I constantly lose my ringtone settings and see the memory card disconnect & connect. I have done a restore to the day I rooted & haven't done anything to it aside from changing font & freezing apps but it is still happening. Anyone have any advise or should I just try to unroot? If I have to unroot is there a best way to do it?

afaik the only way to unroot would be to use the flashtool to flash a stock ftf
edit: or maybe use the Full Unroot option is supersu, but Im not sure that returns you to stock completely like flashing a stock ftf.

I guess my first question should have been is anyone else experiencing this issue?
Not experience this. If you haven't tried a data wipe I would give that a try. You'll spend less time setting your phone up again than you would trying to figure out why this is happening. Just one suggestion. Hopefully someone has a better answer

Thanks. I think that is gonna have to be the next step. Don't really want to give up root.

I would do the data wipe from the stock sony/android recovery rather than the dual recovery. I read something somewhere by someone who knows "things" that a wipe from stock recover is more complete.

Just beware that wipe from stock recovery should nuke your internal storage so have things backed up
Thanks for the warning. Did the wipe & set everything back up. Disabled apps as opposed to freezing them for now. No other changes until I see how it goes. Then will take it one change at a time. Block ads. Xposed & camera mod. Etc.
Thanks everyone. I'll let ya know if the problem is still present or what sets it off.

Here's hoping all goes well
OK. Factory reset from stock recovery, wiped cache from dual recovery, reloaded basic apps, disabled several & all has been working great.
Installed Xposed & 20MP Superior Auto then the phone will no longer go to Airplane mode or shut down the wireless connection.
Again hard reset, wiped cache, reloaded the backup from before installing Xposed...still won't shut down the wireless & go to airplane mode.
Can't imagine either of those would change the Airplane functionality. Not sure where to go from here.
Sent from my D6708 using xda premium
It was the Setup Wizard! Disable or freeze that & Airplane won't work. What the hell? Time to try the 20MP Superior Auto again.

Good find
try wiping data and factory reset once again. i was also having the same problem but resolved by factory reset two times.
Memory card issues seem to be gone. Reactivated amplify & greenify the other day with no issue. Still need to turn on ad blocking.
Only issue I have now is the audio through my headphones keeps going out. Think my beats headset finally **** the bed. Now I have to figure out a decent pair.
Any suggestions?
I liked beats but some people say it is a gimmick when compared to "good" headphones. What's the best in your opinion?
