i rooted my cell phone through my pc .
but after i turned my cell on, it isnt working .
is just showing samsung galaxy star logo and isnt responding.

I just rooted my Galaxy s2
specs:
android version 2.3.4
model # SPH-D710
Kernel version 2.6.35.7-19100xwkdd-CL161513
Build number Gingerbread.EG30
Now i have no wifi and no service. I dont have any programs installed on the phone like cyanogenmod, rom manager or clockworkrecovery. I read that some people have it on there phone but i dont have service so i dont know how to install it on phone if i need it to fix this problem.
I did do a lot of searching but cant find the solution. Im thinking about bringing it to a sprint store to see if they can fix it but i thought id try this post as a last solutuion, im really fed up with this problem now. Any detailed help would be much appreciated...thanks
P.S. i went to settings>privacy>factory data reset and that didnt work and it still shows superuser on my phone.

ok i was able to use odin and flash a stock kernel...now when the phone restarts it automatically goes into recovery mood, it gives me options but i cant select any of them cause i dont have an OK key...I have the spring version galaxy s2...now what do i do?

I know that some of the random non brand name devices I've used, I could just use an adb shell and get root. But this isn't true for everything. As for rom cooking and recovery, that's a whole nother beast.

hi. the current os version is 2.3.4 . you can update by turn on wifi and wait for 1 hour . about 220mb .

I got a s3 i9300, i want to flash my device to get a unbranded version, the problem was that i install a sch-535 rom, the phone barely works, i cant use data, i barely have signal, but when i reallyze my error i try to flash an i9300 rom but i cant, it stops in the middle and dont let me do it, so i know im stupid, but i really need to fix this, anyone can help me please? thank you guys!

Hi guys!, first of all thank you for your support, here are the updates, i try flashing it via odin and a error was show and it was imposible to flash it that way, because i was desperate and impatient for having it back, i talk to a "expert" friend of mine, he told me that the problem was that the bootloader was locked by verizon, thats why i cant flash it, so he rooted the phone, and download e-z unlocker app or something like that, he install the app and then proceed to unlock the bootloader, everything went well, the turn off the phone for putting it on download mode but the phone wont turn on, it doesnt even charge it was dead, hard bricked :crying: ,so i reallyze that all my impatience went wrong and now i have a 900 dlls brick (im from mexico thats whhy is so expensive, a couple months ago) and well the only brigth side is that im going to try guarantee and say that the phone just experience a sudden death case and hopefully the belive me i´ll keep you guys updated! thanks for the support!

second of all, how can the bootloader be locked by Verizon if it's not a Verizon phone? i9300 is an international unlocked phone. If you messed with the bootloader, then I don't think there's anything you can do

Hey dude don't get panic it means your device had soft bricked so you have to flash a stock Firmware via Odin so you will get your ace back for more details of restoring follow these link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1840645

my device is Lava Iris 504q ,android version 4.2.1. stock rom and rooted . i installed cf.lumen and when i tried to enable it , a new option popup saying to download some sort of 3d software , after the downloading completed it rebooted and after that it just got bricked . firstly the lava logo was displaying and after that it stucked on iris. then i tried to install recovery.img in it by splash tool to make it work and bamm... everything gone.. now nothing happes. even the logo dont appears . please help me !!!!

dont worry go to service centre tell them device is not booting if device is not booting in front of them then they ll not be able to say that u had roooted ur device and warranty is now voided my friend also did this. he had samsung galaxy s dont know model name[/B]

ya i tried doing that bt they told the will keep the cell for minimum 15-16 days ... and i want some other method...
i hav a rooted stock rom .zip file , boot.img and recovery.img file of lava iris 504q ... i hav splash tool android -sdk tool and other tools too...
can sm1 help me with that plzzzzzzzz!!!!!!!!

Hi, is there any sign that your mobile is switching on? some display light in screen.??
What happens when u connect the charger?
For me the same problem happened. but when i connect my charger the mobile switched on.but i need charger for each time to switch on mobile. so once it switched on I re-flashed the stock boot and recovery. and everything is normal now.
