My Motorola Droid X2 is stuck boot screen - Motorola Droid X2

Sent from my XT1060 using XDA Free mobile app

So more detail is needed.
I had rooted my droid x2 and was pretty happy, wasn't having any problems and had changed my font around a few times with ROM toolbox perfectly.I never changed Roms though. Well one day I decided to change it to another font that I used before and this time when it rebooted it just stayed on the big red M logo and never finished booting, I have tried pulling the battery, doing fastboot, and even android recovery ( and I can't find a file that works for it), and a bunch of other things without success. Mostly I find things with broken download links. So if anybody can help me fix this that would be great.

Could be bad battery
Sent from my Amazon OtterX using Tapatalk

The original battery did go bad ( it had expanded on the sides) but that was a while after it started the issue and I just got a brand new battery two weeks ago for it. So it could be an issue with the battery?

Yes, or just too low to boot, or even charge
May need a spare battery charger
Sent from my Amazon OtterX using Tapatalk

Well dang, I plugged it into a wall charger and the screen popped right up to its charging screen. Im an idiot to not think of that I'll let it charge overnight and try getting to that rsd support again in the morning.

Removing charging mode

I know the title is slightly confusing, but is there any way to make my phone not going into that charging mode when you restart and the battery shows up? I know I can have it go into recovery, but I don't want it to do either,I just want it to go straight into booting up, just like my OG Droid used to do, any help would be greatly appreciated

In other words, if your phone battery dies you want it to boot when you plug it back in instead of going to the charge animation?

YES! EXACTLY! It's a feature i used to hate because of battery calibration issues, but i miss it so much!
Nope you can't (and shouldn't if you could), with the GB update however, once it's in charge mode you can turn the phone off now by pressing the button.

Sadly you can't boot until there is enough charge in the battery.... meaning you have to connect it, then remember to come back and turn it on so you don't miss calls, etc.

On froyo you had to wait 5 minutes, unplug then boot then plug back in. With gingerbread you can boot up right away from charge mode.

Phone not starting

Today morning, my phone was at a charge of 10% and I put it on charge and after sometime my phone went off and since then it's not starting.
I tried the USB cable. The charger also but nothing is working.
I don't know how to start it.
Any type of help will be very appreciated.
Phone does not turn on when battery is <5%. Charge your phone using the original Motorola charger, preferably use wall charger for say 30 mins at least. If it does not work, try different plug point.

I have put my phone on charge now. But the screen is black. I will leave it for another 30 minutes.
I have also tried different plug points. Nothing is coming on the screen.
Well if still nothing works you can use the factory cable either make it other buy one on ebay and use it Rsd lite back to stock and bring the phone back up to life

I just had this issue last night. The phone wouldn't turn on but the notification light was bright white and wouldn't go out. I just left it plugged into the computer overnight and by the time I woke up, the phone was on and had a 61 percent charge this was over a period of about 7 hours.

But in my case its a bit different, the notification light is no more blinking or something. It's just the black screen. Not turning on at all.
Tonight I will leave my phone on charge for more than 7 hours for sure. I really hope it starts.
Thanks for the reply.

I have ordered for a factory cable. I am gonna try putting up a new ROM on the phone. Let's see if that works.
I recalled one more thing, before my phone got bricked, the day prior to that I used battery calibration application on my phone. Do you think that would have affected my phone?

I is Teh Bricked?

So, I'm at work and I am unable to use my phone. Phone will not power on, I've held the power button for well over a minute in the hopes that it would restart but nothing. I was using the phone just fine today with no hiccups. I've tried charging the phone, but the light will not appear, so it does not seem to be charging. I've also removed the SIM Card, nothing as well. I've tried plugging it into a computer to see if it would sync, and yet again, nothing.
Any solutions?
I'm using the newest P.A.C. ROM, not even overclocked

I've looked at the phone under the brightest bulbs we have here, no indication of any of the sensors lighting up. It's really strange. I've been tinkering with ROMS for several years now and nothing like this has ever happened to me. You would think at least one of the sensors would light up.
Power is what I meant there, try booting into recovery from there

I can't boot up the phone, it's neither charging or booting or giving me any indication that it's alive.

Seem hardware issue you'll to check voltage of the battery (eventually dead), and try another usb cable.

I have used 3 different USB cables in the vicinity and none of them have worked. How would I go about checking my voltage?
Use a multimeter, if you dont have one youll need to find someone with the same phone and test with his.battery.

plug it in to an ac charger not usb let it charge for a few hours then unplug it and hold power or power+volume down under a bright light.

your reply is not helpful. if you dont have anything helpful to say then what is the point of posting. other people have had this exact problem and their phone came back on after charging for a while. this is not what xda is we are a community that helps each other

I do not have a multimeter, I use to have one. When I get home I will use my standard wall socket charger and if nothing happens it is most definitely a hardware issue. Hopefully my AT&T store is open tomorrow and they can help me address the issue. If I get it on before then I will update this thread with a solution.
What caused this to happen?

Xperia z ultra not working any more

Today I picked up my xzu and it turned out to be off.
I tried to turn it on by holding the power button, but nothing happen.
Also I pressed the red reset button that is next to the SIM slot, but nothing happen.
I connected it to my pc using Sony update serves, but the pc can't detect xzu (ad if xzu is not connected at all)
I plug it in the charger as it might out of juice, but the notification light didn't come on.
So any body got a idea of what happened to my xzu, before I send it to the serves.

try other charger and/or cable.
charge for ten minutes, don't touch. then press power button until device vibrates.
phone is shipped with some energy in the battery, lion battery don't loose energy. Probally device is broken, i assume voltage of battery is below 2.7V, when this happens the safety circuit prevents charging.
Return the device, waranty should cover
Just to let you guys know that I got new xz ultra

Droid DNA won't turn on, Please Help

The software on the phone was acting up and the phone kept randomly turning on and off, so I opened up recovery and tried to restore an old back up so I could keeping using it. Well, little did I know the phone was going to die half way through the restore. The phone will now not turn on, and it wont charge. I'm wondering if the software is required to charge the phone, does anyone know?
First question why did you run a restore with a pretty much dead phone.
Second can you hold power button and does any of the buttons flash.

Probably bricked it. If you can't get into the bootloader your only option is jtag.
