I use LG g3. I delete photos from the photos app and it says that they will be deleted from the device and from the cloud.
I noticed, however, when I go to upload a picture to imgur all of the deleted files still show up as an option to upload. (I tested it and it does indeed upload the file)
I've uninstalled and reinstalled the imgur app, and searched everywhere for these photos but can't find them!
These pictures don't even show up in my file manager. Please help!
Thank you

Hi
Having trouble with Picasa... I have a folder in my gallery named Instant Uploads with loads of photos ( well at least it should). It only has about 1/2 the amount and I cant access them. I have tried several routes to try and sort this but cant find the location of the Picasa file. I have downloaded Picase Web and all the photos are shown there but I cant transfer them to my gallery.
Any advice most welcome
Thanks
sr
All sorted.........deleted gallery and re-installed.
My auto backup is turned on for Google Photos. Any pictures I take on my phone automatically get uploaded to my Google Photos online. If I go through my Gallery app (not my Photos app) and delete pics, will they also be deleted from my Google Photos online next time I sync?

Click to collapse
Funny how no one has addressed this yet. People are fooled by the numerous videos on Youtube on how to remove the photos. But all those videos show the exact same instructions which only remove the photos from syncing to that device. It does not delete them. Once you buy a new phone, those photos will show up again.
I would like to know where they are coming from..
Hi all, I'm trying to delete my photos on my device which already backed up in Google Photos. When I open the app on my phone and tap free up space it keeps saying no items to remove. I can see all the photos in Google photos but I can't delete the device copy from my phone.
Any suggestions? cheers
I figured out that when you open the app from your phone you need to go to device folders tab and delete all the photos from there, that soved the issue.
Mods please close the thread.
Cheers
Hi there,
We have our entire Google Photos collection shown in the app on this device and we can preview them all but it seems none of them are stored locally. We have tried all of our passwords, etc. and unfortunately can't seem to get back into this account so when we try to download the media we get the error "Could not download." Is there any way that we can somehow access a temp/cache folder to save these images and videos? We'd hate to have to manually go through 2000+ images and take screenshots of each, but also be out of luck on the videos. We'd really like to get them off of this account and onto our more recent Google accounts.
It seems really weird that we can preview these but not somehow access the temp file versions anywhere.
Thanks in advance!
