ok so i have just noticed this… first off.
Gear fit manager latest version 1.88.xx
Device : samsung note 2 LTE 4.3

ok so i have noticed recently if my phone is in deep sleep. not being charged but just in deep sleep and i get a notification on my phone. the notification doesn't forward to my gear fit until i push the home button on my phone. i have only seen this happen when my phone was in deep sleep. if i am charging my phone and the phone is in deep sleep the notification will push to the gear fit right away. if i had just used my phone then the notification will push to the gear fit right away. so the problem i am seeing is not being able to receive notification when the phone is deep sleep( not charging) . like if i haven't touched my phone in 1hr and i get a notification. its not pushing it to my gear fit.

I don't have this issue. Are you using a battery saver or any kind of sleep modd progrzm that may interfere?

[Q] Unsolvable Problem - Display stays on / awake

Hi all,
I'm having a problem with my sgs2 that I'm unable to solve.
The problem is that sometimes, not always, my phone does not enter sleep by itself. Infact it doesn't lock itself either.
Also, again sometimes, if I have a missed call alert or text the display lights up but then stays lit sat at the lock screen.
I've done some testing. I have tried different roms and tried the stock Samsung tom without modifying any settings and the problem remains.
If the phone is in my pocket then it can be a while before I notice. Today this happened for about an hour before I checked my phone. The phone was hot and the battery level had significantly dropped.
I've also noticed that with sound and vibrate switched off, sometimes when receiving a call the phone vibrates for 1/10 of a second. Everytime this has occurred the screen has stayed on after lighting up for the call.
I have wiped the user area on my phone but note this did not delete my music and pictures. Is this correct?
Any ideas? I'm really stumped and it's ruining the phone for me.
Thanks.
To see what apps/processes are causing the device to wakeup from deep sleep download and install Better Battery Stats and see under Partial Wakelocks.

[Q] SOD Sleep Of Death

Basically I can leave my phone sitting with the screen off for awhile plugged in and eventually the phone acts as if it has been shut off. I think it is in deep sleep mode and it seems to do this quite often when it is on the charger. Is there a fix for this? I have read about this elsewhere but couldn't seem to find if someone knows how to get it fixed. And this is for my Optimus V with the default 2.2.1 android on it.
I have this problem too and it's very anoying. When I have an alarm turned on and sometimes the phone enters this SOD the alarm does not ring and when I pusn one of the buttons the lockscreen shows the hour the phone entered this deep sleep mode and after a second it refreshes with the current time.
Well my phone doesn't respond when I press any buttons or even touch the screen. Basically it would seem as if it is off because I think it went into deep sleep mode. There should be a option to turn deep sleep off but I have no clue how to do it. That is why I posted the question here.

Random "Wake Up" Problem

Hello, for a few days now, I have noticed that my Prime will wake itself up randomly for almost no reason. It will be locked and sitting on my desk then suddenly the screen will pop on and do nothing. It is annoying since it is killing my battery since I have the screen set to stay on for 5 min. I am rooted on the .28 update, but it was happening before on.21 also. I have better battery stats installed also to monitor wake locks and it is registering allot, but I don't know what they mean, or how to stop them. Anyone else have this same problem, or a way to fix it? I will upload a screenshot from better battery stats shortly.
UPDATE: Just after posting this I left the tablet sitting and allowed it to do its wake ups whenever it wanted without touching it, then after about 15-20 cycles of sleep to awake, it came on with an android os window full screened in the background, a smaller battery warning in front of that, and on the top was the power down window that appears when you shutdown. Weird thing is the tablet is almost fully charged, and when I powered back on it had the same battery it did before freaking out and thinking it was dead.
NOTE: In the screenshot I have Samba Network file sharing open, this is normally not active when I am having the random wake ups, I just opened it to upload the screenshot from my pc.

[Q] Endomondo - battery problem

Hello,
I installed Endomondo on my Gear fit, but it drains my battery. Is there any possibility how to turn display off after some time and turn it on only when I do a wrist movement? Or something like that? Because endomondo is having display still on and even when i turn it off by button, it turn it back on when the circuit notification shows (which is every kilometr = 2 minutes on bike).
Thanks for respond.
Neonik!
I found out, that when endomondo is "not running" - paused or stopped, display it turned off after time, that is set in fit gear settings. Is there any way how to apply this settings to my fit gear also when I'm running workout?

S6 edge repeatedly notifies that phone is set to silent mode

I have an S6 Edge, model SCV31, currently running android 7 (updated last night).
Due to my work, I've been in the habit of always having my phone in silent/vibration mode. This has been the case, with this same phone, for around two years. Maybe two or three days ago there was a notification on my lock screen telling me that my phone was on silent and that I may miss calls. I was given the option to take my phone off silent, or say "it is okay". I have never had this notification before. Normally if I receive a notification I don't care for, I long press on it and turn off notifications for whatever is causing it. I could not long press on the notification, and touching the screen to unlock my phone caused the notification to disappear. This was while running android 6. Around the same time these notifications started I was emailed by my service provider that I would soon be able to download android 7. I received the notification a few times before updating, both while charging and not. I was hoping the update would reset/fix whatever triggering the notification, but have still been receiving it since.
I have not been able to force the notification to reappear. I have tried turning on sounds and turning them off again, restarting my phone, and leaving my phone charging for a few minutes (I initially noticed it while charging) to no avail. Until now, I haven't thought of taking a screen shot, but if necessary I will try to remember when next it occurs.
Does anyone know what is causing this notification and how to turn it off?
Thank you in advance,
JB
