when i have flashed this rom the top header below is in korean since the base system ui is from korean rom.so to get al the fixes
method1:download the nicv2.2 rom and go for installing the applications with out wipe and select only the system ui in the aroma
method2:just download the xpose installer and search for the S5 FOR NOTE3 this will give you the 100%KOREAN free rom
for the ussd codes no other go you have to go for the erobot rom and i am searching for the base apk.i think he is brillant ..he took the base as 4.4.2 in which every thing works ,...and edited script to 4.4.4 which every one were relly downloadng,...with funn...
to differenciate 4.4.2 and 4.4.4 we just need to check the ram ussage and the smoothness of the rom .....

I could resolve and I can already connect vpn.
You must extract Vpndialogs.apk from the arter97's ROM and copy to System / Priv -App.

And of course my battery goes to 0 % in few hours.... i will try a recalibration...

Having same issue as OP, and unfortunately the thread is now closed.
As a follow up, does anyone know where adesirello will be posting/hosting updates to AndyX ROM? He mentioned 6.1 will fix these bugs. Can't pm, as his account is, well, ya.

The problem is residing inside Framework.jar.
Use V5.3 and it should fixed the crashes when clicking on Gallery as well.
I have modified V5.3 with 6.0 stuff but if you want 6.1 update then I can give you too.

Bootloop
Hello,
I folllowed the instructions, first boot was ok. I installed some of my apps the the phone started to go into a bootloop. It boots up, stays on for about a minute or so then it's restarting. Any help wood be appreciated.

what did u install? . u tried installing again and using the phone without any other app installed
Installed 4.6 beta 4
wiped cashe, dalvik, data, system
unmounted system and installed the zip
cleaned cache&dalvik then installed gapps.
First boot went fine. Will try to install again and see how it goes without the apps. Thanks
I got it to work. I guess it had to do with a theme that i installed after the ROM installation. Works smooth so far. I hope it won't have the one month problem. Keep up the good work and thanks again.

I am currently encountering those bugs with PA4.46_beta5:
Camera apps FC after recording video
-Stock camera app force closes and Google Camera reports "Can't connect to camera" after each recording and won't open again until its data is cleared
systemUI ANR when making a call
-This immediately brings up a black screen after dialling the number, while the call is ongoing, with unacceptable delay before graphics come back
Black placeholders in place of videos in stock browser

There are some posts on other threads about WhatsApp and messenger bugs.
The problem, also present in this ROM, seems to be that while using ART, WhatsApp doesn't download through Play Store and won't install from sdcard while fb Messenger installs but won't run.
Both can be made to work by switching to Dalvik runtime environment.
Interestingly, WhatsApp maintains functionality after switching back to ART while Messenger pops up an ANR dialog.
Maybe that could be useful to some users

It seems not possible to get an ADB connection to the phone using the ROM...
Moreover, the phone's filesystem is inaccessible while USB debugging is activated...

I'm currently on SlimKAT latest build by Adeel. After using slimKAt final build for sola, I want to switch to this ROM, paranoid android. What steps do I follow to get it working on my sola?
Do I need to first go back to stock ICS or can I just flash the included kernel while I'm on SlimKAT?

I HAVE TRIED TO INSTALL THE PURE EDITION ROM THROUGH TWRP RECOVERY AFTER UNLOCKING THE BOOT LOADER. EVERY THING IS EXCEPTIONALLY WORKING GREAT. EXCEPT FOR WIFI, MOBILE NETWORKS. IT DOESNT READ THE SIM AND IN SETTINGS IT SHOWS SIMS ARE DISABLED, WHEN TRY TO TOGGLE THE SIM ENABLE BUTTON IT DOESNT DO ANYTHING.

Do the following in TWRP Recovery
[1] Press Wipe -> Advanced Wipe -> Check all the Checkboxes except Internal Storage & Micro SD Card -> Then Swipe to Advanced Wipe
[2] Go to Home
[3] Press Install -> Now flash Optimized Stock ROM.
[4] After flashed just Wipe Dalvik Cache & Cache
[5] Finally Restart..

My Problem: The phone app is consuming a ton of battery. So I uninstalled the dialer app from system/priv-app. Then I installed Google dialer from apkmirror.com but this Google dialer is not working. So I request you to send me dialer.apk from this ROM. I accidentally deleted the downloaded file and cannot download the whole ROM again. So please send me dialer apk.

Depends on user. Acc. To me CM11 is the best. CM12 is new and still under development. On the other hand CM11 is very stable and fast.

No. You can't flash gapps over a stock rom which already has google apps on it.

As long as you have TWRP recovery installed you can't update. If you want to update then unroot from supersu app. And then flash original recovery file from ADB. I hope u understand what i'm saying.

I9100 + PAC-man 4.4.4.RC-3 + gapps-kk-20140606-signed = no file upload
Hello all,
I recently revived my S2 and installed PAC-man RC3 on it. First with the modular-micro version of gapps, then with the gapps-kk-20140606-signed version. In both cases, I can not upload anything to anywhere using the build-in browser. Upon selecting a file for upload using a webform, I get the new file picker, and when I choose a picture for instance, the file name get's trunkated to: image%3A153
When the form is trying to process the selection, I get an error about image:153 not being in a valid format. This leads me to suspect that the %3A part in the filename is causing an issue.
I did not do anything else to my system, and formatted and whiped everything I could think of .. from dalvik cache to my internal and external SD. The phone was probably cleaner then I got it from the previous owner after I was done, yet, this issue remains. Am I goofing up something or is this a bug ? I can not find anything on 'PACman ROM rc3 can not upload files from phone' google searches, and adaptations on that phrase.
Any help or insight would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

DO you have this problem in any rom other than PAC RC3 ? Because i dont think there is any problem of Uploading files in this rom i hv used this rom for a week it was quite good for me !!. Try to check first if this problem is with the your s2 or with the rom by flashing a new rom !!

Have not tried yet. But neither Imgur nor any of the forums I usually upload pics to, can handle what the filepicker puts in the webform .. so I'm quite sure the issue is with the filepicker. I can upload pictures using apps without problems (fb app, whatsapp, etc.) I will try another Rom and report back.

@Planet_Jeroen Ummm Try installing PA 4.6 Its the basic stock based 4.4.4 and see if you have the problem !! btw which kernel are you using presently ?? I would recommend you to use Dorimanx latest as its stable as of now if youre using any other than this !!
You could also try SLIM KAT 4.4.4 latest nightly over Gustavo kernel with full wipe and check if you have the problem.

As you are sure that this is a problem with filepicker and your inbuilt browser . confirm whether you can do the same in an external browser first like Chrome !!

I finally found the time to start flashing ... and am very f-ing glad I saw your comment before I did I just installed firefox, and there are no issues with the filepicker anymore. It seems the issue is with the build-in browser.

Initially RC3 but have random soft reboots at screen transitions por at download images. Occasionally i lost data and voice but my status in the task bar appears fine.
Eventually flashed 22 Dec 2014 nightly and continue soft reboots & música bug, i lost the sound con música player. I found a kerne for AOSP or Cyanogenmod versións ¿Can i flash that kernel?

I have followed through installation steps and after reboot GAPPS keeps on fc. What to do?
there is problem in facebook messenger and facebook application .. like .. some times u get white screen if u send chat photos
some times if u viewed some 1 profile facebook suddenly close !

I love it. The boot fix works. Bluetooth works.. vibrate works.
GREAT battery life. No FCs really.. other than Instagram sometimes.
@GHsR will the dark theme for RR be available in the update? Also I hate AudioFX. Can we get DSP manager back or a better audio enhancer or a way to increase volume? :good: #salute to you.. Great job

yes these bugs are actually there in ROM..
Look at the screenshots a music player widget and app drawer background..
And plz tell me I want to make default font in cellular data section and look how date is showing like M01 10...
