Hi at all,
im very new to Android and Flashing a new Rom. I finally after some time came to decision to Flash my Phone.
This ROM is great love all the features and im very proud at my self to learn so much about Recovery, SoftBricks and allot more...
Now to topic:
Im having Issues that OTA Update Center tells me that - rom.ota.prop and kernel.ota.prop is missing
How can I fix this issue?
Rom im using is: Existenz Ultimate z2 ver. 3

Hi m8,
i have read the thread and on ROM Post it does not state that issue.
On the Posts ive went thru allot 20-30 Pages and used the search. No such issue has been found.

It states the issue a lot as everyone asks, no one searches. If you did read the thread you would know this is normal. The error will be fixed once athe first OTA update has been released. Up until now, no ota update has been released and that's why you see that message.

The wording in the FAQ is not word for word but it's there. It would've been something else you didn't read. Trust me, I have answered your question.

This means then wait for a ROM update from the Dev. Like this the OTA Updater works.
Got it - But still this is a great ROM
Flash EXISTENZ V3.1.5 and you'll get rid of that error...

Hey my mainver was 3.10.605.07 because i downloaded a ROM with that
anyway I flashed a new rom and opened the android.text and changed it
accidentally to 3.10.605.7 .... so will i have to enter that for every ROM for a long, long time? or will the 3.10.605.13 flash over that when it becomes widely available
if not or anyways: Is there a way to change my phones mainver lower? or am i screwed till a RUU comes out past 3.10.605.7

When it updates, yes, your mainver will update to the new one. Until then, though, you can use one of these fixes...

I don't get why people don't just use the "edit the android.text file" fix EVERYTIME they hit a mainver error??
Seems to me that is by FAR the simplest fix, ALWAYS WORKS and it takes about five seconds.
I keep an extra android.text file on my card just in case I need it.

Hey guys!
yesterday i have update my s2 from 4.0.1 ics to 4.1.2 jelly bean..i get the update from samsung-downloads.com.
it return there its official jb update, so i update using odin...
once i successfully update it,its reboot and its appear a C logo (Clara) after that only its shows samsung logo..
i was happy with the update but there are some unwanted app that cannot been uninstall..so i just hide the app's...
also there is a speech when i slide to next page..its really make me think that im using a toy phone :crying:
can anyone get me the real/OFFICIAL Jelly bean 4.1.2 or 4.2 or 4.3 update for my samsung galaxy s2?

U have downloaded a branded official update i guess... Search for a UNBRANDED rom
For those crappy apps... Just disable them in application manager

i have disabled those apps successfully but im still not happy with th C logo at the startup?

Well as I said flash an unbranded firmware ... thats it
I started off with omnirom then skydragon then cm11. All of them just didn't hit it for me. Then I stumble across pacman rom and I love it.
But every time I try to open the camera it gives error cannot connect to camera. I click OK and it just fcs.
I've spent days reading about it and how the boot.IMG may have something to do with it but every time I flash one my phone fails to boot.
Can someone pls help me out

S-off or s-on. If s-off run ruu. It should fix image issues. Was it working on stock or just when you rooted?

Since I discovered the camera wasn't working on pacman ive flashed my previous ROMs and the camera has no problems. Its only on pacman... I've tried older nightlys and redownladed the ROM several times to make sure it wasn't a bunk dl

It seems you've narrowed it down pretty good ...why not ask in the Pacman forum? It's clearly an issue with their rom

Well if they don't support their own rom whay are you using it ?
try ViperOne or InsertCoin or ARHD .. they have Great developers that support their work, not leave you hanging

If 3.1.1 is based off AOSP 7.0 then yeah, you need to download the 7.1 variant of opengapps. Otherwise no. check you r about phone to see if it's 7.0 or 7.1

I was on 7.1. But never mind because the dirty flash was successful but I stumbled upon a major "bug". I had previously used a 6 x 6 pattern lock but this was disabled in 3.1.3. I was stuck with a 3 x 3 pattern lock that I didn't make and couldn't unlock the device. Had to clean flash the build.
