HELLO,
FIRST I UNLOCKED MY BOOTLOADER WITH THE T-MOBILE OPTION IN HTCDEV.COM.
I HAVE SUCCESSFULLY GOT S-OFF BUT AFTER GETTING S-OFF ,
I NOTICED THAT IN MY BOOTLOADER MENU SHOWING THAT MY BOOTLOADER IS LOKED NOW.
BUT I HAD UNLOCKED IT BEFORE PERFORMING S-OFF.
CAN ANY ONE TELL ME IS IT OK OR NOT ??
SHOULD I UNLOCK IT AGAIN BEFORE FLASHING ICS RUU ??

It's a part of the s-off process it's normal use hasoons aio kit and unlock it again with your previous unlock.bin file and yea your safe to run the ruu but you can't flash the recovery without unlocking the bootloader

Thank you sir,
So I will unlock it again and then flash ics ruu ..

You've come a long way, but s off is weird, it re locks it. So you'd have to unlock it again then flash the ics ruu or firmware IN BOOTLOADER NOT RECOVERY.

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone can point me to the right direction. I had a silver HTC One that I successfully unlocked the bootloader and rooted but unfortunately had to return do to faulty hardware. ATT sent me a black HTC One but I can't seem to unlock the bootloader now. I am using the All in one toolkit but in the final stage where it uses the unlock.bin file, it fails. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
I would try s-off through revone exploit. No need to unlock just get s-off, install custom recovery and flash away

hey guys, earlier today unlocked the boot loader on my max. All went pretty smoothly until i tried to set a finger print to unlock my phone again. What seems to happen now is when i swipe my finger for the final time it says "finger print not recorded, please try again". looks like i might have to return it but would love a fix if any of you knew of one. thanks!
Have you tried relocking the boot loader

Yes it seems that unlocking the bootloader kills the fingerprint sensor.

And that means that no Unlocking can be done without breaking the Fingerprintsensor?

On a personal note:
It makes sense really. Your fingerprint is like a unique password that you cannot change so HTC is doing everything prudent to protect that password for you. I don't see a problem with this personally.
On a technical note:
I believe the TZ partition (mmcblk0p11) has a check for whether the device is LOCKED, UNLOCKED, or RELOCKED. If it is anything other than LOCKED then the fingerprint scanner is automatically disabled.
I believe there are two possible ways to re-enable the fingerprint scanner:
Issue the command fastboot oem lock from the bootloader then run a factory RUU for your carrier
Hex edit the TZ partition to remove the unlock check, then fastboot oem lock and subsequently unlock the device again
The first method would most likely require that you also flash the stock recovery from fastboot before relocking.
The second method would require S-OFF to function as it is very unlikely that mmcblk0p11 is writable with S-ON.
I am by no means an expert with HBOOT or TZ so I may be way off base here, but that's how I see it right now. I'll see if I can get a warning posted in the threads about the fact that unlocking the bootloader with HTC Dev method will disable the fingerprint scanner.
