my xt910s was running on stock ICS SKT.KR.
I wanted to upgrade to JB.
I downloaded the new stock rom 4.1.2+9.8.2O-124_SPUEM-14+IMPROVE_XT910
Loaded BMM, made wipe data/cache and averything. Then i installed the zip from sd card.
After installation the device rebooted and looped at moto logo. I tried to enter its own recovery but the phone rebooted again and stuck in moto logo. Pressin Vol- Vol+ Power didnt help.
Then i tried to flash it throw RSD with that rom again. It failed in cdt.bin.
Now i don't know what to do.

have you tried to flash last JB firmware version on RSD Lite? if you're trying to flash a ICS FW on RSD, it's not gonna work at all, because you already update your phone to JB, so try a JB FW on it ok?

Were you rooted before flashing cm7? because I experienced the same issue when I unlocked my BL and tried to install cm7 without root...tried different methods but none worked, I hope I'm wrong but I think you might have soft brick and the only method that worked for me was flashing a SBF file through rsdlite
Check out this thread, it will help you solve your issue http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1138204
I did charge it the first time i plugged it in it went straight to the battery (good) but then a couple mins later my gf hit the wire knocking it out the socket i plugged it back it but now it jus goes to the moto logo and i was using this recovery.

So can you charge your phone?
Can you enter fast boot mode?
Aren't you using rom racers recovery mod
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1204500
You could flash it via fastboot
Then perform a fastboot full wipe (there's a script that does it all, check dev section )
And tried reflashing cm7;
Or flash a stock rom check fruit cake

I figured out why my phone wasn't working well cm7 at least I was using the wrong recovery I flashed a cwm recovery and Bam it worked like a charm now I have no idea as to why the recovery I had at first wouldn't restore a backup that it had made but oh well its running smoother then ever before.
thanks to everyone on this thread and the few others I've been to.
Much appreciated

I just got my SGS2 back from repair today (stuck pixel) and I wanted to installe CM9. I thought I'd start with the latest CWM - the link was broken so I flashed CWM 4.0.0.8, which flashed fine.
When the phone rebooted, it sat in a loop doing nothing. I then flashed CWM 4.0.1.4, which also did not help. I attempted to wipe cache using CWM. A heap of errors scrolled down the screen. I thought I'd restore back to factory kernel and rom, which I did. I am still in bootloop and I have the following text on screen when I go to stock recovery

dunno...most likely you flash wrong rom without reading first...or your zip file not finished download....
check you file..name, actual size before flashing
I hadn't even gotten as far as flashing a ROM, to obtain root, I attempted to use CWM, that is when things went wrong

Wipe data/factory reset, clear cache.. The it will start a fresh.. Then re-root if needed.. Hope this helps

Hi. I just tried to flash and received Error in /tmp/sideload/package.zip
Do we have any changelog or did you see any differences compared to 651.167.19.XT910.Retail.en.EU?
Can asianretail OTA only be updated to asianretail base?
Anyways to change build.prop for this update and see if it works?

Hi Almstag, thanks for bringing in this 2.3.6 version. I have tried a few times tonight but still could not bring it to install on my RAZR. I'm wondering if it is because of the following reason.
Last week, I have flashed this version into my XT910 (SPDREM_U_01.6.5.1-167_SPU-15-M2_SIGNEuropeAustraliaEMEA_USASPDRRTGB_HWp2b_Service1FF_fastboot.xml). It works well and it is actually a 2.3.6 build. However, since my original phone is Asia Retail, I would like to return it to Asia Retail using the update that you have posted, but to no avail.
I have tried to use RSDLite (5.6) to flash in (SPYDERIRD_U.01.26.0_SPD-IRD-21_SIGN_ASIA_RETAIL_HKTW.xml) but the flashing could not even start!!! RSD showed "FAIL" right away!!!
I'm just wondering if it is true that as soon as we move up to 2.3.6, there is no way to go back to 2.3.5 using RSDLite?
I have even tried to flash in (SPDREM_U_01.6.5.1-73_SPU-11-M1-2_SIGNEuropeAustraliaEMEA_USASPDRRTGB_HWp2b_Service1FF_fastboot.xml) which I have managed to flashed before moving up to 2.3.6 using RSDLite (this was a few weeks ago), but now even this version could not be flashed anymore with RSDLite showing "FAIL" also.
Please advise. Thanks!
PSHAsiaRetail also start to receive OTA.

I would flash ClockWorkMod as recovery.

Then just flash with fastboot:

Hi guys I am running TWP 2.2.1.1 and trying to flash the new jelly bean. I've tried both available versions and followed the instructions completely. But, I keep getting boot loops. I can flash other ROMS just fine and they boot fine. I can't seem to understand why this ROM keeps boot looping and wont load.
Is anyone else experienced getting boot loops after flashing jelly bean??? And if so how did you get around it??? I've also tried flashing through CWM and get the same thing. I know its not the kernel because I am able to flash the kernel and have it work on CM9 just fine. I has to be something with the ROM file.
Someone please help me get this thing to flash and load.

I think all the options were covered in your other post.
Wipe Cache 3 times, davlik 3 times, factory reset then flash
Then let the phone sit for at 10 minutes. A bit extreme. If the phone vibrates a bunch of times, your stuck, if not, let it sit. Last dish effort, yank the battery out while it's on
