Phone reports No Network, when singal bars are signal

Hi,
I have an SGS3 in uk running Jelly Beans 4.1.1 ( I9300XXDLID ). It is the official firmware that Samsung issued over O2 network. My phone recently has started to report "No Network Registered" when I try to send an SMS. The weird thing is that, there are signals being reported by signal bar. If I try to make a call when this happens, then it can't make a call either, reports that no network signal is available.
However if put phone in Flight Mode from this point, and straight back to normal mode. It magically finds network and starts to work i-e make calls, send SMS. I can't workout why is this happening. I certainly did not had this problem prior to upgrading to Jelly Beans.
Has anyone else experienced something similar? Is there a solution for this? I am not keen on installing a custom ROM at this point, and would like to hear if there is a solution to this problem without having to install a custom ROM.
/Sheeda
Odin a stock firmware. That would help.

i9100 - Strange Problem with Calls.

Hi,
my dad brought me his i9100 with some strange problem.
Outgoing calls work fine - everybody can hear the other one
Incoming calls are completly silent - connections is on, timer is running but noone can hear each other.
Tests with different phones (Galaxy s7 edge, Wiko Rainbow Jam) and even my landline telephone - always the same problem
Happens with different firmwares
Now i am at Stock and it is still present.
Tried some 6.0.1, 5.1.1 and 4.4.4 Roms.

i really can't figure it out.
One flash went bad and deleted the IMEI but i fixed it with the EFS Backup but the problem was there before.
Has anyone a solution or idea?
Thanks guys
## edit
after talking to my provider they told me, that is some hardware problem in my area... so it's not phone related

Verizon Galaxy S6 Edge+ with T-Mobile SIM - Can't Make Outgoing Calls?

Hi Everone!
I bought a Verizon S6 Edge+ a few months back. Ever since, I can only make outgoing calls ~15% of the time. The rest of the time, when I dial a number, it thinks about it for a little bit and then just ends the call. Incoming calls work perfectly fine. I tried the following things:
1. Changing mobile network to Global - sometimes allows me to make the call, often time does not.
2. Taking out and re-inserting SIM - doesn't change anything
3. Toggling airplane mode - doesn't change anything
Any ideas of what I can try? Thanks so much D
I had same issue, followed instructions from (https://www.getdroidtips.com/g928vvru3cqb9-nougat-s6-edge-plus/) to rollback to previous version of Android i.e. Marshmallow (https://forum.xda-developers.com/s6-edge-plus/general/g928vvru3cqb9-odin-nougat-7-0-firmware-t3601427). Able to roll back, but that did not work, So used Verizon update tool to update back to latest firmware, now it works fine. Give a try and see if this helps.
I'm having this issue with an AT&T sim.
Global: Data is at H+ and can make calls.
LTE/CDMA: 4G LTE Data works flawlessly but cannot make calls and gives me an error stating "incorrect sim or sim error".
LTE/CDMA/UMTS: 4G LTE Data works fine however when making a call data goes back to H+ and stays there.

Need Assistance: Phone App Corruption???

My SM-N900P will not send nor receive audio unless it is connected to a Bluetooth device. This started happening recently, and now even my backups from before this problem occurred are now affected. If no Bluetooth device is connected, it will attempt to dial and connect the call. If successful, the call will be in progress but I will not be able to hear the caller nor will the caller be able to hear me. Other times, upon placing the call, it will not connect and the call command will cause the phone to hard reset/restart. Even at the end of a successful Bluetooth call it may restart after the call ends. And now, sending texts now results in this behavior as well (restarts). I've looked at my CSC logs and apparently my phone thinks its Vietnamese? Not sure why... but that may explain all of my incoming calls getting an extra "+" in front of the number (I've been using the Prefixer app to remedy this)
I hope someone out there can help. I've attached the CSC log file in the hopes that it can shed some light on this problem...

I was thinking about that, but it's not a problem exclusive to their ROM. This is occurring with other ROMs as well, including stock ROMs.

Jio sim "mobile network not available" please help me with this

Hello guys,
I am facing a real big issue after updating to the stable android pie release on my poco f1
I am using a jio sim. The incoming calls are not shown on the phone. Whenever a call comes to my number it never shows on the phone the caller will hear the dialer tone as normal
Also when I try to make a call it shows a message mobile network unavailable, mobile data and sms works fine all this time.
When I reboot the phone none of the issues are there for 15 to 20 minutes then it comes back.
There were no issues when i put the sim in the second sim slot but I need to have the same card.
I am really frustrated about this issue, I have missed many important calls as it never showed up on the phone
I cannot find any one else facing this issue. What could be the reason for this ? I hope it's some kind of software bug that can be fixed.
Please help me to fix this guys
Thank you
