Any way possible to Snap a picture, and then when its in Review Mode or when you select the picture just taken on the top left, to share it via mms or email?
I notice only 4 options are there when I hit the menu button on the picture: Set As , Slideshow, Select Player and Details but No Share Option.
It's annoying to exit out the camera and the go to the gallery, find the picture, and share it from there. Anyone know a good work around to send when still in the camera app?
Thanks!

after you take the pic and you're still in the cam viewer, touch the thumbnail, then touch the screen on the pic (NOT the menu button) = done.

Thank you my fellow Minnasotan! See ya at the fair
I was wondering if anyone knows how to get the photos stored in the gallery to display the most recent photos at the top. It's a little annoying scrolling down through all your photos to see the most recent one you took. Thanks.

Not this really answers your question, but a work around would be just accessing the gallery through the camera app.
So...
gallery widget - 1 click
photo album - 1 click
scroll to bottom - could count as several clicks total 5 or more (clicks = steps)
camera widget - 1 click
gallery widget - 1 click
recent pictures already there - clickless
(See what I did there?)
With mines it automatically start at the bottom where most recent pics are. Never had to scroll down. Once I click camera shots it automatically start at the bottom down need to click on camera icon than photo.

If I select "Camera Shots" as opposed to "All Photos" it starts at the bottom with the most recent as opposed to the top with oldest.
I don't know if you can do it in the gallery, but I always liked this third party app... QuickPic
I feel a little foolish. I must have always been looking at my latest photos in "all photo's" option, because just like you all said, the "camera shots" folder starts at the bottom at the most recent. Thanks everyone.
That quickpic app is also really handy for offering more file management and organization. Thanks.
This is a minor annoyance but sometimes I just want to open my camera app and browse photos while my phone is laying on my desk, but when I open the camera app it automatically goes landscape mode and I have to pick the phone up to get it back to portrait. Any body know of a way to cancel this auto-landscape feature in the camera app?
Edit: Just realized I could just go to the "photos" app directly and bypass the camera. This opens in portrait. But also adds another icon to my homescreen. I'd like to just use the camera icon for all of this, so still would like to hear any ideas anyone has
In settings > display and gestures do you have Auto rotation checked?
Mine opens in portrait.
What the heck.
I installed the Google launcher and my camera went all weird.
If I open the camera app from the home screen there is no button to see the video camera or the gallery any longer.
It's like it thinks it open in Facebook sharing a picture where it takes the picture and then the preview shows up with a check and x it only lets you take one photo then closes.
Anyone have this issue?
Hello all!
I've seen it somewhat posted throughout the comments here but no thread on it directly. I figure the potential of this this deserves it's own thread and tutorial for those who are coming from Google to try and do exactly this without reading through a few threads.
Anyways:
How to enable Wide View on every app:
Download this app,G8x WideMode.
This puts a new icon in the top bar in the notification shade. If you don't see it, pull down twice and hit the pencil to edit the icons. Find the new one and place it somewhere near the top to keep it close by.
When the dual screen is open, tapping that will force wide screen in every app! There are some limitations:
Intent changes seem to revert the phone back to two separate pages. For instance, the mobile Reddit app Sync closes wide screen if I click any link to an external picture, video or site.
Some apps do f play nice in wide screen due to this, and you can't keep the phone permanently in the mode like a tablet, but it's a great improvement to a great phone idea.
This is super simple so I didn't think pictures were necessary, but let me know if I wasn't clear on anything or if you have problems somewhere!
This is very much appreciated! It works like a charm. It's not the floating dual screen thingy but the toggle buttons that you swipe down from the top. Make sure you add it.
Hey, this app seems to work great! I did have an issue with one app called Steam Link. Steam Link allows you to connect to a computer running Steam and remotely control it from your Android device. When I launch a game and try to use WideMode the Steam Link app refreshes and goes back to a single screen. I would love to be able to play some of my steam games over both screens.
Is there any way to make landscape apps go left/right instead of top/bottom?

I don't understand. couldn't you just auto rotate? you can also use the rotation control app to lock rotation, which helps with wide Mode

auto rotation did not work because some apps are forced landscape/portrait.
I did end up using the rotation control app with the per-app conditions. :good:
Next nice thing would be if some apps would restart at the new resolution, instead of stretching the single-screen app - some apps/games work perfectly, but others don't (and I think they should have a similar resolution compatible because I've used the axon M, which has "dual screen" retained through home with those apps).
