Hi
Sorry if this subject was discussed but I searched for it and didn't find anything resembling it.
1) I have a non-root G2 mini and when i slide the notification bar i have brightness + volume sliders that i want to remove.
Is there any way to remove them without root ?
2) When playing certain games , the navigation bar remains on the display with dots instead of icons
Is there any way to remove it without root ?
Are these things possible with root ?
Thank you !
I don't think its possible without root, but...

BTW, I know how to get both done, with root.

Hi everyone,
I searched the web for quit a time now, but did not find anything to answer my question:
Is there any way to disable the icons in the notification bar which appear while apps running in background without losing their full funktion?
For example I have an "Anti-Virus Program", "LBE Security Master" an "Tasker" running in Background. There a little Icons shown in the Status-Bar and big notifications when I pull down the notification bar. Of course many apps have an option to disable this, but they tell me that they won´t work right anymore if I would disable that. Since Jelly-Bean, I think, there is a way to disable notifications from every app but same thing here - apps seem not to work right anymore.
Is there a way to get rid of the icons or the big notifications without losing their funktion?
Thanks for answers
GP
Really no one has that problem?
This is a very good forum but sadly in very most cases no one answers...
Hello
I'm looking for an app for android that can not find.
I have android 4.2.2 with root and I want to remove the bottom bar of buttons (Home, apps in process and back button)
I have installed full!screen ( http://goo.gl/T12Ko ) and is perfect, the problem is that it also removes the top bar notifications.
In the settings you can set a button to display the notifications but I want to remove the bottom bar and have always seen the top bar.
There any app that does this?
Thank you very much to all
Regards
in some apps the status bar autohide , like music player and settings , same for my tab 4 7.0 .
Unfortunately this is a "feature" of kitkat and above called immersion mode. Good app designers will give users a choice on if they want it enabled and bad ones will not. You can still swipe down from the top of the screen to show the notification bar (status bar) briefly but it will cover part of the app in the process since it is not really part of the screen anymore.

how that ?
I have an IPcam App called SYSD that keeps 2 annoying icons on the top left of my LG G2 phone, I dont like them at all.
But I need the app to be always on, because it is very important as it should always work, it rings when a motion is detected.
Is there a way to hide these icons without causing an interference in the running app?
Any help? Problem with no solution?
Nothing ?
At all?
You can use something like AOSP Status Bar, but you'll need to root your phone I believe. Any mod that allows you to disable persistent notifications is what you're looking for. There are various options and they're usually specific to your phone model, but that's what you're looking for.
hello everyone I would like to completely remove the navigation bar at the bottom to set up a gesture system a bit like the iphone
In the settings I can hide it but not deactivate it completely.

If you are rooted, this may be what you're looking for.. Just be careful as these devices are easily brickable.
Because of the way Huawei does their Android setup, you don't apply these changes to /system/build.prop but you apply to /vendor/build.prop instead.

How can you setup that gesture system? Please can you show?
No solution for non rooted?
