I recently got an HTC One (M7) for AT&T. I decided to unlock the bootloader and root it. I installed CWM recovery and tried to get S-OFF with firewater. I tried to install ARHD rom but didn't back up my phone first...(FACEPALM). I had wiped user data, and the installation had failed. I tried booting it up, but nothing. So, I tried using the RUU to get back to Sense but no luck so far. ANY HELP IS MUCH APPRECIATED! I NEED TO GET MY PHONE WORKING AGAIN ASAP!!!
-Thanks in advance Mark

So your using TWRP 2.6.3.3? Did you do the Format Data in twrp as suggested by clsA.
Maybe the push is not successful for some reason. It can happen even if successful push is reported in the command window at the pc end. Does the zip dissapear when you reboot recovery?

So if you haven't already use twrp 2.6.3.3 select "Wipe" then select " Format Data" type yes to confirm then once it's done reboot to recovery. The Reboot to recovery is important. :good:
Put the Rom in your fastboot folder, and rename it rom.zip.
Boot to TWRP 2.6.3.3 just on the home screen is fine, and connect usb.
In the command line type
Code:
adb push rom.zip /sdcard
The command window will appear unresponsive until the push completes (several minutes).
Once it's done install the Rom with twrp.

you can adb push the rom to /sdcard

As I was using CM 4.4.2, everything was going fine, I had 3 bars of LTE, and then I tried to make a call and it said mobile networks not available, I checked my signal in the status bar and it still said LTE and data still worked fine. I went to my phone settings and checked it and it said my mobile network was unknown, and my phone number was 000-000-0000. I wiped, and flashed CM10.2(4.3) and it did the exact same thing, only this time it said my phone number, but still, I couldn't make any calls or text, I've tried flashing two sense 5 roms and none of them display my phone number or let me call or text, but upon changing the subscription type from global to LTE/CDMA, it gives me LTE data, but that's it...Can anyone please help me?

Stock DNA Recovery Image
To flash the Recovery:
Place the file in your fastboot/adb directory on your computer.
Put the device in fastboot mode:
(Volume down and power until menu appears, select fastboot using power button)
Connect the device to the computer
The image is easily installed via an unlocked bootloader with the following command:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery imagename.img
For example, I provided a recovery img named dnastockrecovery.img
So you would type:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery dnastockrecovery.img
The image must be in your fastboot working directory.
Or you can use Flashify from the Play Store.
I recommend getting used to and familiar with doing it via fastboot though.

The way you fixed it seems a lot easier than what I did. I returned to s-on, 1.15 hboot and the oldest firmware. Now my phone's bootloader will always say tampered too, since i had to HTC dev unlock it to get root.

when u go to flash your custom rom back to you need to do a dirty clean or can it be a clean flash by wiping cache system sdcard everything.

Connect your phone to your computer, view the files in a file manager, go into the TWRP folder and delete the .twrps file. You may need to set your options to view hidden files and folders. Now reboot your phone into recovery and try to view your backup again.

You mean view the files on the phone in a windows explorer? I can't access the phone's sdcard, it won't show up in my computer since the phone won't boot. It's stuck at HTC logo. You can access the phone's sdcard from bootloader ?
Not sure, I haven't tried... can you get into TWRP? If so, there is a file explorer there, try using that to find the TWRP folder and delete that file.

Okay, just tried and no, you can't access the file system through Windows when your phone is in the bootloader. You can access the file through TWRP's built-in file manager though. Then just click on the file and choose delete. Reboot recovery and see if your backup appears now.
Did you re-lock your bootloader before running RUU? You need to do this or it will not work. If that does not work try to run the RUU for ATT with bootloader 1.40 here

I'm on windows. I was using Hasoon's 2000 toolkit to do it, it said device not found, but then in the command prompt I typed the command to adb and it worked.
I flashed a cyanogen rom but it's stuck on cyanogen boot logo, can't make it to boot. It's an unofficial rom since I could not find an official one. maybe the rom is not working. Do you have a rom that will work with this phone?
Thanks!

You don't need S-OFF to flash CM11, CarbonROM or Mokee - all these are KitKat-ROMs.
you can use cm11 or omnirom for example.
all you need is clockworkmod for flashing kitkat roms. don't forget to flash the kernel inside the rom.zip seperate

im a newbie in the android world
In every ROM are a boot.img open the zip File with Windows (for example) and copy the "boot.img" to a local folder.
The easiest way to flash a Kernel is to download the EliteKernel (see the Android Development Thread) and start the bat-File inside there. It will flash the Kernel
The manually way are the following commands (you must use the adb, please google)
Code:
fastboot erase cache
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot erase cache

I have At&t HTC ONE X + (EvitaRE) so is there any rom i can update this phone to ? like kitkat? mine is S-ON. Currently running Elegancia 6.3. And what tools do i need?
All you need to do is flash the proper kernel which can be found in your particular rom's zip file with the name "boot.img" extract this file into C: drive, connect your phone to the computer whilst it's in bootloader mode and input command "fastboot flash boot c:\boot.img"

Hello,
1.Ive rooted my phone emui 4.1 with kingroot
2. I've flashed Official twrp 3.0.2
3. After booting in twrp I tried to clear cache but it unable to clear cache.
4. Then I've force rebooted to recovery then all partitions got unmounted (shocked)
5. So I flashed mm kang ROM then phone bricked so I thought that stock recovery may mount all partitions so I flashed stock recovery (back up)
6. Finally I'm unable to boot in stock recovery and ROM
7. What do u think guys? How to solve this issue ??
Any one faced same problem?
***Main thing is what ever I try to push a file from adb to phone in fastboot mode (ex- recovery, boot.IMG) it says "writing recovery failed:command not allowed". why I'm getting this error ?? I've unlocked bootloader too ***
Thank you!
.

if bootloader works: download official image, use fastboot flash commands to flash all parts
otherwise
download official image from huawai, (update.app) copy to sd, boot phone with all 3 buttons pressed. it shold boot into some recovery.

You could try to reinstall drivers then or try a different pc.

Do you have hisuite? If not try uninstalling drivers then install hisuite and try flashing with fastboot then. By the way does your device get recognised when you type "fastboot devices" command?
that's strange.
have you tried booting into second recovery?

Yes in eRecovery I can see "update recovery" after connecting to wifi it says "failed to get device info"
I ran out of options.
You might want to try all the same, using different UPDATE.APP version, like B180 or B200, using a different cable, different computer, etc.
Then next step will be Huawei support, it might be a memory/hardware problem.
Sorry man.
