I've been using
an amazing messaging app with
embedded features and interface
close to stock
messaging app. We don't have
to wait for an official stock
update of our device nor we
don't have to worry if our
device doesn't have a KitKat
update just to experience its
astonishing features and user-
interface. Well, we don't have to
be surprised since this app called
was actually ported from
android 4.4.2 (
) with added
some more extra features.
8sms on Android 4.1 - 4.3

best app for Android which was
credited by . A

Here is an amazing app that gives you Android 4.2 Jellybean style Quick Settings in any ROM (2.2 Froyo + ) on any device!
It allows quick access to almost all settings that I use regularly in a much quicker and more convenient way than the Settings app.
Note that as of now, the app was published only two days ago (9 November), so it may have some glitches, but these should be more than compensated for by the prospects of improvement.
This app was also featured in xda news
I set it to open when I swipe up on my launcher, so that it can be used just like the quick settings shade.
All credit goes to joelpg for the original APP.

I request all the users to review and rate the application, you can send mail to [email protected] in-case if you found any issue or If want to add any new features.
According to the description in the app, it redirects you to use their search engine?
Is this really the right place to advertise this app? Feels like cheap marketing

I just installed the Jelly Bean ROM on my Galaxy Player 4.0. I used this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2333769
It works great, performance is like triple what it was before (my Gingerbread was seriously messed up), and it runs very smooth. The normal Camera app works fine too (camera support was preventing me from messing around with other ROMs in the past that lacked it). The problem comes when I use other apps that access the camera. I tried Google Goggles and Microsoft Tag (to read QR codes) and in both of them the image showed up like this, making the apps worthless:

}
It's not a huge deal, since I mainly just use the Camera app, but it's annoying not to be able to use these apps. Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas?
As anybody saw, google didnt update there sources from AOSP Browser to android 4.4. So we all have no AOSP Browser more on Stock ROMs. Google jumped over to chromium. The only way is to flash AOSP based ROMs to have the good old one AOSP Browser back. For me the best browser on Nexus 10.
But for those who still on stock android, here is the solution. Flash the attached file thorugh your custom recovery and dont forget to set the hook in your g-account to sync your bookmarks with the AOSP Browser.
Note:
The Incognito Mode does not work

Atrium Might be the best app for surfing FB
And it is definitely too smooth, lighter(uses 1/3rd ram compared to fb), Less data consuming and no unnecessary permissions required
Also there is an option to kill the background process so it will be on only when u want it
If u are using my rom T3RomV2 then it is already there.

Unfortunately atrium stopped working now! Facebook is ditching every app possible! There is no real alternative for official Facebook app if you want to share your status to groups!
