Just my 2 cents here. I plucked down $25 bucks at my local Verizon store for the tempered glass screen protector. They put it on for me at no cost. I really like it and I am very glad that its fingerprint and smudge free. I know there are cheaper options but for me it's nice not to have to fuss over putting it on.
My wife's screen protector broke at the weekend when she dropped her phone. I cane across this one on Amazon.

I got silicon case and tempered glass screen protector, from roadside vendor, have to make do with this as there is no good brand cover, btw got cover for 50 rs and screen protector for 80 rs

Pros:
Fit & Finish wise both products are good,
there are so many alternates of Silicon cover, But personally i like transparent color so ordered it.
Rest all is well after 7 days of use.
Cons:
Cover & screen guard will increase the chances of overheating,
Both products seems overpriced, when you will compare with local vendors.

Glass screen guard peeled out from center corner of phone while hold it tightly.. Better to use normal screen protector instead of glass one If you are using Silicon types of cover.

It has some sort of coating that makes it super easy to clean. Oily residues wipe right off. Using one on my moto G4 and I am impressed.

I'm trying to decide which case to use for now on and narrowed it down to two.
I got the Defender. I really like the Defender, but dirt gets in between the screen protector a lot so you have to keep removing it.
The other option is the Incipio Performance Series Level 4. This case is a lot less bulky and doesn't include a screen protector built in but is rated for 13 foot drop protection. I have not found any tempered glass or screen protectors I like so far. The Incipio case has enough of a lip to it but will my phone get scratched up on the screen? My S2 I had years ago I had no screen protector on it and don't recall getting any scratches on the screen during the time I have it. The phone is also GREAT using naked with no screen protector.

I was at Sams today and they had a couple different screen protectors. They had the ZAGG HD glass, the one that has the big halo for $25 which is cheaper than Best Buy and the phone stores but the halo is too severe for me and they had an Incipio stick on protector for $20 but it wasn't glass and I couldn't tell if it covers the whole screen or not. I hate the stick on protectors and for that price I could go on Amazon and buy a multi pack of them for half that price and not lose as much $$ if it doesn't work.
Right now I am using a cheap amazon tempered glass screen protector on my S9 in a Defender series case. The screen protector continues to come off due to the the the protector not being truly case friendly. Does anyone have any suggestions on the next screen protector I should try?
I'm using the Otterbox screen protector on my s9 defender case and haven't had any issues. I got it for black Friday for $5.00 at Walmart. you can check their website or stores but I like it compared to some of the other ones I've tried.
