There is new partition layout
Previous 470mb system/450mb data/8mb cache
Now 900mb system/SD-Card EXT-4 1-2gb partition/8mb cache
So no need to worry just make partition on SD-Card only EXT-4 supported
If cm 12 arrives plz someone port to PRO also
I didnt use my lovely old pro but i am cuorious about lollipop now i am using samsung and the sony and SE developers are more active even with older phones :good:
still not release
still how much time we have to wait for xperia neo v 2011 device rom lollipop
Its already available:http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-mini/general/disscussion-android-5-0-cm12-port-2011-t2947548
But this is only for advanced users only and not recommend for daily use. I would wait for a more stable version before u use it as a daily driver.
EDIT: They have taken down the links.

Guys, like seriously, there is no actual development here!
What are you discussing here is obvious which is also meaningless.
It is just my opinion and I hope to see some work here.

Hello guys ... I want to ask you ... why xperia p is so undeveloped .. i mean my friend has xperia neo v which is nothing front of xperia p and he has all the latest cm10 done and still xperia p is still behind and it may never upgrade to cm10.1 ... Its awfull ... i mean that fxp has by its side sony and still nothing... thats the dissapointing part buying xperia p ...
Novathor chipset doesn't have proper drivers for cm.10.1.and since STEricsson went offline don't get your hopes up.

whats STEricsson ??? and how is that possible? how there is a stock jellybean and cant be a modified one

Well my friend, development takes time. Developers are doing their work and we should thank them. CM 10.1 has arrived and it is almost stable. The only problem which I think is not making it stable is Bluetooth. But no doubt, we have some great developers working on it and will get it fixed soon. There are various other ROMS too like CM 10, CM9, MIUI v4, MIUI v5 and many stock SONY modified ROMS which are worth trying. You can try them all and if you don't like it or get bored, just flash another one. It hardly takes a minute if you have downloaded the ROM and follow the steps properly.

STEricsson NovaThor U8500 is the name of the chipset on which Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go are running. The chipset is not very advanced and good that makes SONY think that it cannot handle JB 4.2.2. We have tasted 4.1.2 and I think it's not bad and is stable enough for daily use. But if you want 4.2.2, developers have made unofficial CM 10.1 which is worth trying. You wont regret after trying that.
aight ill check the other rom but i really love cyanogenmod .. and it was very disappointing the fact that there aren't even a stable jellybean ... I do not blame the developers, but xperia p disappointed me :/

The no1 reason is:
* Novathor chipset is not any good for development because of lack of sources.
Search button is your answer ,CyanogenMod 9,10,10.1,official GB ,ICS,jb 4.1.2 .
Anything missed ,yeah CyanogenMod 7 .which I will try to develop .
Even nexus series doesn't have GB ,ICS

No don't choose Xperia U or you will stuck on ICS,JB ROM Requires Unlocked Bootloader, and Xperia U was a bit old.
I prefer Xperia L a lot,with newer processor Dual Core 1GHz,1GB RAM,8GB Internal & supports microSD card.
Go for Xperia L,sure you will like it

Xperia neo L has Single Core 1GHz processor & Xperia U got Dual Core 1GHz,so Xperia U better a lot,but it doesn't have microSD card slot only.

No lol
You'll get only 4gb storage ,2 gb extra for app installation and your games will run better though if you play hd games like MC4, you might not be able to install more than one such game at once
While installing rom only system and data partitions are going to be deleted. The 4gb 'sdcard' partition will not be wiped unless you explicitly choose to do so
So finally if you are getting something other than an Xu take it but an xu is definitely better than neo l
Winter is Coming

I really don't suggest you to buy Xperia U,you can only download 1 game with 2GB data, others Apps etc...
Go for Xperia L,you can buy microSD card to expand your storage.
You will regret if you buy Xperia U,and Xperia U screen is really small...

After upgrading to KitKat 4.4.2 I found that most kernel and room disabled 720p recording mode
And this is a very important feature in the Neo V Phone
What can I do now ? Return back to ICS 4.0.4 ? Or There is any other solution ?
