check the last post here https://developer.qualcomm.com/forum/qdevnet-forums/general-discussion/9428

Yup read that and tried that no help. We need a 8974.hex and a 8974msimage.mbn specific to the LG G2.

dd from linux?

To dd in linux we need the phone to be detected as storage device in linux and thats not happening

Ahhh the QDLoader error.. had this more then once when I was developing on the i717 and revived it using this - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2136738 -
we would have to find those files for the g2 but the tool does work with the proper files.

will help you without money. contact me in private. make ready 2 things:
1. Ubuntu 32bits downloaded
2. USB flash drive 16GB (32GB is better)

$20 more from me

I don't think there is a DIY solution for this. Only a JTAG will solve the problem. Look for a gsm service with proper tools. It shouldn't cost more than 30-40 bucks

Why no one has pointed these guys to this thread? -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/general/fix-unbrick-lg-g2-stuck-qualcomm-hs-usb-t2933830

@kryptonite any more progress on this ? I am in for 10$ myself.

Interestingly, other people are also trying hardbrick fix projects - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=36547282&postcount=271 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1914359 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2136738
Wonder if we can assign the bounty to them to get the LG G2 hardbrick fix.

Phone done ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Hello all,
Sorry if this is regarded as a place to put up Query for a different device. I have kindle fire HDX 8.9 in similar state and has Qlcm 800 SoC
Wonder if something can be done or considered about it?
There are about 8 members in similar situation as mine

Since I don't have the money to get it fixed I might as well donate it in hopes a free utility can be made... :'( :'(

Okay it's hard to find exactly something for you cause you seem to have a dual sim phone? Well if i were you i would simply look for a guide to unbrick the lg optimus l5 II (should be yours except of dual right?).
So maybe you should try that :
www.ninjaromeo.com/unbrick-lg-optimus-l5-using-kdz/
And if that doesn't work maybe that:
forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2289169
.....
Funny i don't even know if I'm allowed to post links to other sites here ....hope that's no problem

That is hard-bricked no way to recover it by normal methods also I don't know if MTK has a similar tool like Qcom which has QPST.

I told you idk about MTK you must make your own research but you need a medium knowledge about bootloaders and stuff and maybe some files in HEX you can't find.

Seems symptoms of a hard brick.
Does it shows anything while charging? Animation, led, anything?

Agreed.... messed up mobo r near impossible to fix though :/ unless there are easier ways created by aftermarket devs like in Samsung tablet S or HTC HD2(The Leo Legend!)

I still have that HD2 fully working on Android!
That's sad man. May your phone rest in peace.

If it's out of warranty, try to get a refurbished logic board. I did that for my Nexus7 and it was way cheaper than a brand new one.
JTAG can do it, also you can download drivers now that you couldn't before, he needs to learn to use google, there really is no excuse for flashing the wrong ROM there are plenty of good people on here to ask like I did, I asked the question can I flash only l21 ROMs and what is kiwi and I got told what I could flash, remember friends beauty fades but stupid is forever !

Jtag is somewhat expensive.
Sent from my Galaxy Tab 3 using XDA Labs
The cheapest JTAG box I found is 150$ plus shipping and import taxes. Also there is no guarantee it will work with H5x (must have the appropriate firmware).
I would say it's safer (and probably cheaper) to get it fixed officially.
