Supcase and wireless charging - G3 Accessories

Hi all
Just ordered aG3 so now need to sort some accessories. It's the D855 32gb variant with builtin wireless charging.
I have spent ages looking at cases and thinking I have decided on the Supacase case http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00JW7ATU8/ref=noref?ie=UTF8&psc=1&s=electronics
Hopefully that's a decent choice of case. Want something that doesn't add bulk, looks ok and offers some protection.
I have had a good search but can't find an answer as to wether this case would work with a wireless charger (either a Choe, Koolpad or maybe the genuine LG wireless cradle).
Any help would be good. I know there are other threads that's tough on this, but none seem to give a specific answer to my query.
Cheers

I have a Supcase Beetle on my VS985. I have added the wireless charging sticker to the inside of the back cover and use a Itian A6 wireless charger with no problems.
Sent from my VS985 4G using XDA Free mobile app

Thanks. Unfortunately the itian a6 doesn't seem to be easily available in the UK.

Just as an update to my own question....
The Supcase Beetle didnt work with the Choe Upgraded wireless charger i got. But the charger worked fine with a Cruzerlite case.

How about this case LG-CCH-320G. You can find it on ebay. I just purchased one. A bit pricey, but OEM and nfc/Qi.

It is the Griffin Jumper for eReaders.
I think it was about ~$15
I also purchased the above mentioned Griffin Jumper at Wal-Mart. It fits snug and it works well. This isn't exactly what I wanted, but it will at least protect the tablet.
What brand and model is the case you guys are finding at wal-mart? I've got a neoprene gig bag from best by but I want like a leather bound day planner style carrying case. Anyone seen anything like that on the market? I've looked high and low and have yet to find anything close.

Wireless charging and cases

Let's talk about cases and wireless changing - what works and what doesn't:
For example
Works
Generic charging back and cheap gel case works with Tylt charger
Generic charging back and cheap gel case works with LG hockey puck charger
Otterbox defender works with the tylt vu and qi sticker
Nillkin bumper case works with the Tylt wireless charger
Slim Armor works with the Tylt Vu
Qi sticker chip with generic eBay hockey puck (Powerbot clone) and it charges with Seidio Surface
Qi sticker (from GB) on OEM backing with Quick Circle Case (without the built in inductive) works on both the Tylt Vu as well as the LG WCP-300 puck.
Ringke slim case and with the 3 Coil wireless pad+original LG USB cable+2A Samsung charger (links in post #21)
but
Doesn't work
slim armor DIDNT work with Nokia Dt910
Works partially
3rd party quick circle case with wireless charging I got off of Ebay and ordered the WCD-100. Although it worked I kept
getting the center phone correctly message every time I put it on.
Best Buy Insignia TPU case has some trouble with the Tylt Vu. Wireless charging notification pops up frequently
How about posting here what we know works - and what doesn't. I'll update here from your posts so please make my life easier and give me something that I can just cut and paste.

You forgot about the Qi sticker chips for those who purchased.
I have a Qi sticker chip with generic eBay hockey puck (Powerbot clone) and it charges with Seidio Surface.
Overall, I think wireless charging will work with any case so as long there is no interference such as magnets or something.

My slim armor DIDNT work with Nokia Dt910. Had the on off issue. Ordered a lg wcd100 will see what happens.
EDIT : forgot to add that i got the slow charging message when using the case.
I have a 3rd party quick circle case with wireless charging I got off of Ebay and ordered the WCD-100. Although it worked I kept
getting the center phone correctly message every time I put it on. Returned that to Amazon and ordered the Tylt. If I continue to have
problems with that one when I get it then I'll know it's the case that's the issue.
This thread will be hard to follow just like the "What wireless charger works best with the G3" thread. I had to read that thread over and over. lol A list in the OP would be nice but a little time consuming to make I guess.
Nillkin bumper case works with the Tylt wireless charger. I will test the Insignia case at some point.

It should cut down on the same questions and not everyone has time to read a long thread. If OP didn't want to do it I could have done it
Maybe the OP also needs to add "a case and charger might work for someone and not another person. I guess depending on the sticker/placement".

I apologize for not updating the first thread within microseconds of someone posting - sheesh.
In order to make this thread worthwhile, we really need more information on some of the more obscure combinations. Stickers, for example, can come from multiple vendors and each may be a different quality. I'd suggest adding a link for no-name products. I'll continue to update the first post every couple of days for a while until we have a good representation of products.
I am using this OEM rear plate.
I am also using the Best Buy Insignia TPU case.
The charger is the Tylt Vu.
The Tylt works fine without the case on the phone but has trouble with this case.
Slim Armor works with the Qi sticker and the Amazon Cheotech charger....

It was a joke. Calm down. And my comment about the Seidio was because you updated the original post with stuff that was posted after mine and thought you missed it.
As for the Qi sticker chips, there's only one source that makes them but obviously sold by many others.
Just got my official LG qi charger WCD-100. I really like it, it's stable, and charges quite fast for qi. I got it for a pretty good deal so I don't mind and this is my 3rd qi charger that i currently have and by far the best one. It's really nice because I can't place my phone on it the wrong way. You just put it on and you're done! No alignment bs like on my other ones.
Qi sticker (from GB) on OEM backing with Quick Circle Case (without the built in inductive) works on both the Tylt Vu as well as the LG WCP-300 puck.

Verizon G3 NFC+Qi - case & charger recommendations

I have a verizon G3 with NFC but no Qi case.
I would like to get a case or back plate with Qi. I am considering getting a Qi back plate separately and add a spigen slim armor case. There are conflicting reports of spigen case working with a Qi charger.
Can anyone recommend a suitable combination of case+charger that is known to work?
The LG slim guard is $50 total. But im not too crazy about this case.
Spigen case is 10-18, Qi back is 15-25
I don't know if this helps but I ordered a nfc+qi pad that replaced the nfc pad that is on the back cover. It took me no more that 5 minutes to do and now I have wireless charging working.
Coming from the g2 that was important. I'm waiting on the spigen case and another tpu care to come in the mail.
Adding the wireless charging not expensive and I got to keep my original battery cover.

Here's a strange story about qi charging on my g3... Purchased the qi sticker on ebay and I already had the Nokia dt 910 fatboy qi charger, so I figured I would be good to go! Not as easy as I had hoped ?
The phone would charge with my lg circle case but not my Spigen Slim Armor case (my personal favorite), all that would happen is the dreaded disconnect and reconnect ? and a few days later I tried again and it actually worked! It still works perfectly fine.
Yes the lg g3 can use qi with the slim armor case with the right charger

I need a wireless battery cover

What the best wireless battery cover for my note 3, need to use the new option in 05 camry.
Thanks
You can find the Samsung OEM wireless charging battery cover on fleaBay for around $15.
I notice that there are also Mugen "wireless ready" covers that fit their extended batteries for $20. Kind'a cool if you don't want to ever be concerned about how much charge you have - and don't mind a fatter phone.
I'm pretty sure that neither the OEM not the mugen will work with any of the "standard" cases.

i am using the amazon cheotec coil with the stock cover in my note 3. works though an otterbox defender
anyone know if I get a Samsung oem wireless charge back cover if it fits into a otter case and if it will charge through the otter case?

I don't know about an otterbox, but mine will charge through a UAG case when positioned correctly (edit: aftermarket coil in stock battery cover).
I got the wireless charging cover for $15 shipped on ebay, from a US seller. Came in retail packaging.

It works through a thing TPU/gel case, which is my preferred type.
I use this one with stock back and with S View cover (fully functional), and there is a slight bulge but not bad. With the stock back, no issues in any of my cases.

The retail Samsung wireless charging back consistently gets 25-30ma more when charging. Not really enough to make a difference. Wireless charging takes ~3x as long as using the stock Samsung adapter and USB 3.0 cable IME. I swap batteries when I need to be fully charged. I use wireless just because it is so convenient to set my phone down on a qi dock at my desk or my nightstand.

CZ Eddie, yup, kickstand4u kickstands are back in stock - yours was shipped today! Thank you for your order and support!
FYI, I have a Sprint LG G3 (rooted) and a LG G4 (stock) both with wireless charging backs with a kickstand installed and a 3 coil TYLT charging stand - they both work fine, but it seems that the LG G4 is not as finicky in placement on the stand for a good wireless connection.
I bought the sview wireless charging cover approx 1 year ago via amazon, around £35. Highly recommended, works beautifully. You wont regret paying the extra cash.

Cases that are wireless charging compatible

Merry Christmas everyone I got a Nexus 6 today as an early gift to celebrate Christmas and I love it. Are there any cases or charging pads that are powerful enough to be able to charge wirelessly with the case on?
What cases do you guys use? Also, I am a huge Buffalo Bills fan (they let me down on Sunday ) and are there any good custom cases that I can design the Bills logo on?

mine chargers fine on my cheap amazon wireless charger through the caseology case. nfc payments read ok too, not great but they work eventually.
What kind of caseology case? With the bumper?
I use a Spigen Ultra Hybrid case on mine - does everything I need (bumper surround to protect the phone, clear see-through back, slightly proud at the front to protect the screen when the phone is face down). I also use an IntelliArmor tempered glass screen protector.
The Spigen works fine with all my Qi chargers, both desk and car (I have quite a few, as I was trying lots of them when I first got the phone).
(Once you use Qi charging you'll never want to go back. I was all ready to buy a 6P, but the lack of wireless charging was a deal breaker for me).

I'll second this. I'm also using the Spigen Ultra Hybrid with my Nexus 6, and I have absolutely no issues with all three of my Qi chargers. To be perfectly honest, I've found that I prefer the convenience of my Qi chargers over the speed of my quick chargers. Don't get me wrong, I still use my quick chargers when I need a speedy boost, but I love just being able to set my phone down and not having to pick up a cord and plug it into my phone.

I've used it so far with the CHOETECH Iron Qi stand, as well as the Spigen F300W Qi stand.
