Hello all. I am a longtime lurker. Been rooting and crack flashing since the OG Droid and then the ol' T-Bolt. Ifinally got fed up with Big Red and went to a bargain basement cellular provider that can flash phones. Service is not bad but they shut off the 4G access altogether and have no plans to develope it for flashed phones. Just wondering if any of you gurus could help me get my own 4G compatible with their network? I have a Verizon i605 Samsung Galaxy Note II. It is rooted and has custom 4.4.2, specifically R3Ds 5S Port 2.3 final. Any help someone could give me would be awesome! Thanks!

I know they released Gingerbread for the Vibrant on other carriers like Bell, but from what I see on the t-mobile site, the t-mobile vibrant never got the update.
What I'm wondering is did anyone get a mostly stock rom working based on the bell update or another update? I don't own a vibrant my roommate does and he asked me to find out since I flash roms to my phones frequently, so I haven't kept up on vibrant development.
He is not really savy with phones and wants to keep the phone working as is, you know with touchwiz as the phone shipped, so cynogenmod is out.
Which is what I'd do if it was my phone.
The bell vibrant isn't even close to the t959 vibrant. It's more like the international galaxy s. There are like 2 or 3 ported gb roms from other phones though, and then there is CM7 and miui.

First thing to check is the model of the phone. Look on the label under the battery. If it says "GT-I9100", then you're in the right place.
HOWEVER, since you say that the phone was modded to work on Verizon, there is about 0.001% chance that it is an I9100, since the I9100 is a GSM phone, and Verizon is a CDMA network.
The phone could possibly be an SPH-D710, which is the Sprint GS II, (aka Epic 4g Touch), or maybe an SCH-R760, which is the US Cellular GS II. These are the only two CDMA versions of the Galaxy SII that I know of. If it is one of these, for SURE DO NOT USE any firmwares or kernels from this (I9100) forum.
The Epic 4g Touch has a separate forum, and the SCH-R760 doesn't have a forum on XDA at all, at the moment. But I did find related threads for this model in the Epic 4g Touch forum.

Hey all,
So I know the VZW Note 2 is a world phone and is equipped with GSM antennas. I recently purchased a VZW branded Note 2 and have it rooted and running CM10, I got a stellar deal on this phone in the hopes of unlocking it and using it with ATT here in the states.
I know i'll be limited to HSPA+ and am fine with that, I was successful in downloading HiAPN Global and getting data to work, however I can't for the life of me figure out how to GPS to work. Scouring the web for info doesn't yield much about international/domestic GPS capabilities using GSM carriers, hoping the gurus can chime in.
TIA!
I am curious to know if it would be possible to port over T-Mobiles rom to my wife's S4. It is rooted and has safestrap installed. It is running 4.4.2 KitKat. We recently switched carriers and I was wondering if I was able to port T-Mobiles rom, it might help with signal reception? Or am I totally wrong? I would love to get the wifi calling and texting that is built in to their roms, along with a few other options they incorporate for the S4.
Thanks for any help!
Hey guys, I have been using pageplus in my galaxy s4 for 2 years. My phone got flashed in the beginning. I recently got the 4g simcard from pageplus I tried to put it in phone but my phone didn't work. Pageplus told me that I have to "unflash" my phone to use my phone in 4g. Does anyone know how to do it?
Thank you so much in advance.
