I noticed that the sound is playing in mono. No matter what I'm using music player sound in headphones always is in mono. This is not problem with headphones, on other hardware plays good.
My OS is Android KitKat 4.4.2, stock ROM with root and xposed. Anyone noticed that issue?

I found it!! Enabling OK Google option in Google Search makes audio play mono. After disabling OK Google need to reboot.

[Q] Using bluetooth headset to hear media on ics rom

thanks,
The only way is through a 3rd party app like BTmono i am using. Or you could buy a headset that supports media playback out of the box
I havent had any problems with music over bluetooth
What ROM are you using?
i am using ics wanam 10.7
Really you should try the BTmono app from the Play Store, it does the job for me. You just run it before the music player and all your audio is routed to the headset

[Q]Sound playback issue through earphones

I'm having this weird thing. I don't think i had this problem on MIUI but on 3 different kitkat roms, i play music and i can listen to it in earphone but if i close the music app, leave the earphones plugged in and try to play music again, they don't catch any sound unless i remove them, play it on speakers and while playing, if i insert the earphone, i get the playback.
Anyone else experienced it?

[Q] Media audio on bluetooth headphones

I'm having a weird issue where media audio won't work on my bluetooth headphones,
phone audio works fine but when I try to play music or videos it just plays loud staticy crackling noises.
I've tried the headphones on my tablet and they work fine there, so the issue must be the z2
Any idea why this would be happening or what I could do?
Headphones: Soundpeats QCY QY7
Phone: D603 running eXistenZ 4.5.0
Thanks
Anyone?

Redmi Note 3 making static noise with headphones.

Hello all
I am running latest beta rom miui global. When i listen to songs stored on my device, i get a hissing static white noise from the headphones. It only comes when i play the song weather in stock music player or poweramp. However there is no problem when i use streaming apps like saavn wynk or jiomusic. Also I observe this only for sennheiser cx180 headphones. When i use my sony mdrzx100a headphones there is absolutely no issue..sound is clear.
So what is the problem? Is there any fix?
Hi! Has this been fixed? I also had the same problem earlier and I've found the solution for this. To fix this, your device should be rooted and navigate to root/system/etc and find mixer_paths_wcd9326.xml. Open it and search for "CLS_H_HIFI". Change it to "CLS_H_LP" then reboot.

is it possible to play any audio trough speaker and earpiece?

sup guys
I'm having a SGS3 neo (I9301I) with stock firmware. Rooted, debloated, busybox and xposed installed.
so i was wondering is it possible to play audio such as music or YouTube videos trough speaker and earpiece so i could get higher volume of sound. also it would be best if they both would work as a stereo system. i found an app in Google Play which allows me to play audio only trough earpiece and it works pretty well.
so any tips/apps for this feature?
thanks for your feedback
