GREAT MicroUSB Cables From Anker - Galaxy Note 3 Accessories

I have ALWAYS purchased spare and extended batteries for all my phones from Anker, all the way back to my Google G1 phone. They always worked great, and support has been fantastic.
http://www.amazon.com/Anker%C2%AE-Premium-Android-Samsung-Motorola/dp/B00N8W00DY/ref=cm_rdp_product
I needed a few extra MicroUSB cables for the car, and was tired of ordering the cheap crap from Ebay (which often take 3 weeks to arrive from China).
These Micro USB cables from Anker came as a set of 3. They are very well made (yes you can immediately feel the difference when handling them). They come in a nice box, with a little insert seeking feedback in the product, which is why I am leaving this review.
For me, the most IMPORTANT aspect is the fit... and this Micro USB cable from Anker fits my Samsung Note 3 like a glove! The is no wiggle when attached. This was something I always experience with those cheap cables. Often times my phone was not fully charged when I thought it was supposed to be because of a crappy cable not fitting properly.
The "micro" side of the cable is small, and fits nicely in the various phone cases I have for my phone, so absolutely no issues there.
The length is fine.. I wanted them shorter because they are for the car, and do not want extra long cables getting in the way when I drive.

How much did you pay for them? The link you posted says they are unavailable.

And they would offer no support for USB 3.0. If I were purchasing spare cables specifically for my Note 3, I'd make them USB 3.0 as I have quite a few devices that support it.

I can't understand why would anyone need spare cables. It only fits one at a time, the original one from Samsung fits perfectly and doesn't flop at all, it charges faster then any other 3rd party cable and it's already pretty short for a car. I understand spare batteries but I can't see any point in cables. Unless you break the original one but then I would get another one from Samsung, not some Chinese stuff.

I have one next to my bed, one downstairs, one hooked up to my computer, two in my car (dual charger), and one at work. Might fit one at a time, but my phone is rarely at the right place at the right time.

Has anyone purchased this package? Its a USB cradle dock charger, car charger and extra battery. Its a little on the cheap side at $22 dollars for all your getting not to mention free shipping which is why im a little scepticle. I need a dock though and an extra battery so i wanted opinions/feedback first. Also, is that an extended battery or is it the same specs/mAh as a stock battery? That car charger looks like junk, i already have an OEM Motorola one though so i dont care about that...Good to have a backup though i guess just incase. Let me know whats up folks.
Opinion
For $22 dollars, its not a bad deal but I would be nervous about putting a cheap battery in my phone. Leakage or worse.
The battery is actually pretty good quality, it's not horribly bad or anything. I bought that after my stock battery began to fail on me (couldn't hold charge, etc.) The battery holds its charge quite well, and i'm not too concerned about it leaking or anything. Although, my battery does fit quite tightly into the space, a lot tighter than the stock g1 battery.
I have one if these and I like the dock. Haven't really used the battery. I had just bought a replacement battery for my G1. You don't just drop the phone in the dock. It takes a little manuevering sometimes to get the connecter in the bottom of the G1.
The dock with the "Bedside" app from the market makes a very good alarm clock.
i wish they made this in white
I don't have a car and I don't like dinky cheap batteries. So I went a bought a piano black dock for the g1. It's pretty nice cause it's got 2 usb slots (1 for power and the other for data) and a 3.5mm jack on the back and it can charge a second battery. I like it a lot.
The only problem I had with it was the fact that I had to plug in the stock headset mic thingy in order to have phone call capabilities while device was plugged into dock with speakers also plugged in.
Not that bad of a problem and it works great.
Just do an ebay search for Piano black dock g1...
oops i goofedd

USB Sync / Charge cable problems (replaced, solved)

So I've had my tab since May the 12th (I just looked) and the cable is coming apart by the tablet end. I am never hard on it so I'm rather annoyed.
I went to BestBuy and those idiots told me no way no how was I getting one from anyone but Samsung. (Sure... kids) They made me so annoyed I looked at the receipt date and looked up the policy in the store. I was going to return the tablet just to get a new cable. (Been over 30 days)
Went to Walmart and they sell the cable+usb charging brick for $49.97. No way!
Anyone else had a problem with the cable?

It still works... But for how long?
They are plentiful and cheap on eBay. I have like 8.

in case of zombie apocalypse, break glass.... then swing ;-)
the cables are very cheap and any high current charger seems to work ok, at least the ones for phones that require some kind of short or resistor across the USB data lines.

I bought a couple of these on the 1st and received them today. Branded Samsung and look just like the one I got with my Tab.

I bought one that can both sync and charge (with switch) in the shop at my area : http://goo.gl/UQUdU and it cost me about $2, maybe you can try at dealextreme or other online shop based on hk (they're usually cheap).
Yeah I have the same problem with you. This cable is real crap. It is still working and charging. But when it comes to connecting to pc it is just refuse to work.

Your picture reminds me of my good old iPhone 3Gs-times. There the cable had this on both sides
Well I finally got around to buying another cable. Mine got to where it would charge really slow. Take 10 hours without using it to fully charge it.
I bought one from Tiger Direct. Been buying from them for 15+ years. Its made by iLuv. Works so good. Charges it in fast mode like its supposed to! Its built much better than the stock cable. I think its going to last.

best kickstand case that can be taken off easily and often

I work as a night time security guard for an abandoned government hospital, so basically I do nothing but just watch movies and tv series or play games on my note 2 for 12 hours straight in a shift, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. I change batteries about three times a shift, since there is no outlet plug.
Since I just bought a Note 3, I need a case with kickstand, because I watch lots of videos, and something that can be taken off easily and can take lots of abuse.
I am rejecting both Seidio active and surface with kickstand because
1) the active takes too long to take off and put back on since it uses two pieces design.
2) the surface uses a latch system which means it will wore out after a few months of usage if I constantly take it off and put it back on.
So I'm looking for a something similar to the Casemate pop, which I used on the Note 2, but the kickstand was weak, I'm looking for a once piece design with metal kickstand or something?
Thanks for the input.
Instead of using multiple batteries that you have to change and thus weakening the case, you might consider using a powerbank. You simply connect the phone to it and it recharges from it like from any USB charger.
You can find powerbanks that could charge the phone fully 2-3 times, so you might only need 1 powerbank on a night shift, just look at powerbanks that are about 9000-10000 mah (or more).
The downside is that you'll have to carry the powerbank and an USB cable, the upside is that you don't have to change the case so you can use any case (for example one that has good protection so it will survive wear-and-tear).
As an overnight worker and vicious entertainment consumer, this is what I use. Don't be misled by the price, the thing is tough and durable. I've had it for a year and still looks new, has protected my phone at every drop, keeps the phone secure but pops right out if you want it to. Check out the reviews and order one, you won't regret it.
(Firt post can't post links) Go to Amazon and type Cellto Note 3.

I use the PT case/holster from best buy. Solid build protects well, nice kickstand. Not bulky.

Coocher 5 Port Desktop Wall Charger(mini-review)

You can grab one here
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00TDHEFNY?utm_source=amazon&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=charger
I am reviewing the following device in return for the usage and review of the said item here in XDA. I am not employed or affiliated with them, they were kind enough to seek my opinion on this product.
While not an accessory specific to Nexus 6, I figured I'd add this here because the N6 does have Quick Charging and wanted to let people know my experience with the item.
And honestly, I was looking for one of these desktop chargers for home. I previously bought one when I go on trips to power my various devices, but was looking to upgrade due to me and my wife's phone now equipped with Quick Charge 2.0.
Upon receiving it, The packaging was really nice. Minimal and not too much. Just enough to protect the contents and not hard to unpack at all. Inside housed the desktop charger, the plug, instructions, and other literature as seen in the pics.
The look is a nice textured matte finish and you can grip it pretty well. It has a good weight to it so it won't fly off your desk if you push papers towards it. You can orient it any way you would like to use it, but my preference for this charger is flat with the print facing up. I found that this way, it won't flop over, even though it has some heft to it, you can accidentally knock it over.
There is a power LED when you plug it into the wall. Not bright, just a nice dim blue led to let you know it's on. IMO a nice touch. Next I plugged in both mine and my wife's phone. (Nexus 6 and HTC M8 respectively). And both charged up pretty quickly! I then tested out the remaining three ports (the non-quick charge ones) and all worked as it should. Also I have to note that all the USB ports were easy to plug in and remove with different usb cords.
So is there really any negatives here? Not that I can see. This is a great product for the price listed on Amazon (17 USD prior to shipping if not a prime member).
Maybe offer different colors? With different color LEDs? Just throwing some quick things off the top of my head. But otherwise it's a great product to use.
Would I recommend this? Yes! Because multiple devices that have Quick Charge, we needed this for the times we need to quickly charge up before heading out to of the house and not really worry about carrying external batteries.
Any questions feel free to ask! Pics

Tronsmart Chocolate Quickcharge Wireless Charger

Just got this wireless charger from Tronsmart and I figured I'd do a review on it! Here's some pics first:

As you can see, I've already got the Samsung stand wireless charger which I use daily, but I wanted to try out something else for desk usage as well.
This charger works as it says, and it definitely works with fast charging. However, only thing to note here is that the charger itself only comes with a USB cable; you must provide the charging block yourself...and because of this, you have to use a Quickcharger in order to get the fast wireless charging out of it. No big deal, just plug it into your charging block that came with your S7 and you're fine.
In terms of temperature, the Samsung stand charger has a little fan built in to help dissipate heat. When I used the Samsung charger, I've heard it kick on before (it's very low) and the charger itself never really got hot or anything.
As you can imagine with how compact the Tronsmart charger is, there's no fan inside. At first this worried me a bit, but after using it with quick charging, I noticed it doesn't seem to get warm or have any issues with it. I've been testing it with my S7, but I will continue to do further testing with a Note 5 as well.
In terms of style, it's not bad to look at. It's a nice flat thin little piece, and the top has some rubber on it to help secure the phone in place. This is nice compared to my old Nokia one which was just hard plastic and the phone would slide all over.
It has green/blue LED in it, but this is where I'm not too crazy. The blue LED is always on to show it has power going to it. No other wireless charger I've used has an LED to indicate power, and I don't like it because if I'm sleeping at night and not using wireless charging, that blue light (no matter how faint) annoys me; i'm just one of those people that need to sleep in the dark!
All in all though, this is a nice charger for half the price of the Samsung charger. I hope in the future they make a stand charger though, as it's much easier to see/use at night when I want to simply turn it on real quick to check the time. For that reason, the Samsung charger will remain as my standard daily, but the Tronsmart charger will remain on my desk next to my PC for day time charging.
