Some users have had that issue which is why I don't include his kernel in the Rom anymore and stick with the stock kernel. Perhaps @Flyhalf205 can share some insight as to what you will need to do to get his working for you.

What model you have?

I had a similar problem with another sense Rom. Try using a different recovery, I was on CWM and I had this issue, after I flashed TWRP it booted fine and had no problems since.

it means that after flashing, you should boot (or go into) the actual rom. your recovery will ask you to boot into the system once the installation (flashing) is completed.
hope that helps.

Thanks for the info..it made sense after I read it again lol...Thanks again neo for such a great job on keeping the one max above the rest and not wonder what device is coming out next...but really...who is ready for the one max part 2?

1.7 for Sprint. Installed and ran it just fine at first but when trying to access the gallery through another app (setting the picture for my contact card) gallery just vanished. Reflashed rom, same thing happened. Just FYI. I downloaded HTC gallery from app store and all good now but did not know what could have caused this so thought you may want to know and advise?

Adrenaline 1.7.5 International BLink Feed Prob
Hi,
I clean flashed 1.7.5 ..verizon... Did it twice and blinkfeed keeps forceclosing when adding feeds.
And yes, i flashed the social networks.zip , but it doesnt work.
Sorry for my bad english.

Just to confirm, you guys that are having the blink feed issues are NOT on the official release correct? You're either on Adrenaline Neo or Adrenaline Dev?

hi, i have a stock rom AT&T 4.4.2 - firmware 1.58.502.1 - Root - S-ON (cant turn off)
can i install this "M8 - 3.28.1540.5 ROM+fimrware" directly?
No a firmware upgrade is needed for 4.4.4 to function correctly, need to be s-off for that.
Firmware question
So just to get this cleared up, i flash 2.22.1540.3, then after that 3.28.1540.5? Is the radio fix mandatory? Or only if 1.16?
Delete, senior moment
can flash 2.22.1540.3 (full firmware update) then 2.22.1540.4 (partial update) then flash 3.28.1540.5 firmware(full firmware update) no @ radio @1.16..

I'm on 3.28.401.7 can I just flash 3.28.1540.5 or is it not the full firmware?
If I'm reading this correct I would first have to flash "2.22.1540.3" then 2.22.1540.4 and finally "3.28.1540.5"?
If I'm all wrong please excuse my ignorance
Its full firmware, the correct way would be to flash in sequence

Did I miss the 4.4.4 ROM link?
I'm running the arHD rom and having problems like most people. I've got a 3.28.1540.5 firmware downloaded, but I seemed to have missed the link for the 4.4.4 ROM. Did I miss something in my reading or did it get pulled? A few people said they were running it already?

Thanks I tried that and its like they are locked, they move but once at the edge of screen they launch. I'll try it again in the morning. Thanks again.

I installed the Rom per instructions, installed xposed, softcard, and just popular apps, no more tweaks. On my 4.4.2 Rom, I have my phone connected to my car via bluetooth, and once connected, it resumes music without having to take my phone out my pocket, unlock the phone, open the app and finally play. Was there a tweak done on the Kernel, maybe for battery savings, that prevents the phone from autoplay when connected to a car on the latest version of the Rom? If there is, can we make exceptions on the Kernel for maybe, Google play music?
Thanks in advance for any ideas.
No there was nothing changed by me with kernel or otherwise. Not all things remain same from htc with the newer builds..from my reading things will be completely different again with Lollipop. And also google has been changing things in thier apps as well in anticipation of 5.0. Long winded reply. Havent changed anything.

I was able to htcdev unlock the bootloader, root, and install the insecure kernel for my desire 610. I tried running universal rumrunner to get S-off but it says i need an insecure kernel. Help?
We don't have an s-off solution. They've all been patched thus far. Not even sunshine will work. Haven't tried rumrunner, but safely assuming that it came before sunshine and is also patched.
Any unusual behavior after flashing jmz?
First, my phone has been running a lot better since flashing this kernel. There's just one issue I've had and want to know if I should be concerned or If there's a simple fix.
About every fourth time I go to my car and plug the audio Jack in I get this crazy behavior. My phone, in know definite order will open a voice activated Google search, attempt ( and sometimes succeed in calling someone), and this seems to keep happening until I rebooted. Just exiting the Google search or ending the call won't stop it.
My best guess is it has to do with switching WiFi signals/4g. But maybe since I use Bluetooth in the car, that could be a factor as well???
Hard to tell. It's mildly annoying now but I could see it getting really aggravating especially if it keeps calling people. Before flashing jmz I had the typical WiFi trying to connect issue. That's thankfully fixed but this could be worse.
Is it just me? Any fixes? Thanks in advance. And I'm looking forward to the new Rom!
download link broken to kernel
can you send me a copy of the zip file to my email?
does this still allow for rw
Does this still let you change system files aand they will stick through reboot? Even if s-on is still enabled?
Yes.
would like to download the kernel but the link is broken. anyone have it or something. maybe email it to me. that would be great ^^. till then im sol.
jmz A3UL Kernel problems
I Root my device with ClearD's Desire 610 Root Tool, which also installed the JMZ Kernel. After rooting I have experienced some times freezing the device.
Tried again just to install the Kernel (after clearing dalvik & cache) the freezing disappeared (as far as I can tell) BUT the WiFi can not be enabled at all.
I Have international rom Build # 1.31.401.2

Have you tried reflashing the entire ROM then flashing the kernel?
If it persists, that might indicate incompatability with your model of phone.

Can this be flashed over my current setup?
Yup. And you can restore back if you want. The only thing that sticks is the modem
Again thanks for all the hard work. Really love the work you do.
OK so I made the leap and dirty flashed this over my current setup. Now I'm having issues with gmail fc'ing. So I uninstalled it thinking that may help. So I tried to install it from the play store and it says "incompatible update"??? Now I can't even sideload it as it tells me " application not installed". Any ideas as to why its doing this?
---------- Post added at 12:59 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:47 PM ----------
OK so something weird just happened... I went into recovery to fix permissions to see if that would help and gmail was somehow reinstalled... Its still not working but weird.

Disregard my previous posts. Its working now.
I'm really liking the ZV6 update! The ROM is smooth and no lag noticed. I was able to pick up cell signal quickly. Great Job!

A couple of questions. I have bump and twrp installed and rooted on zv4, everything else is stock, except the kernel. I flashed the oversharpening fix kernel. Can I apply this zv6 update to my phone without wiping data and keeping the fixed kernel? Also, should I download the odex or deodexed?

You can probably dirty flash. But you will lose the kernel.
Obviously my recommendation is to start from scratch as there's enough changes/fixes in this update to give you issues.
On the odexed vs deodexed, you can Google it for a better explanation. But the simple answer is: Deodexed is way easier to Theme. But Odexed is said to run a bit faster/smoother because it caches the apps. If I remember that right.
Really the choice is up to you. If you want to Theme it, then you'll need deodexed.

Clean install.
If you used an app to change DPI, then that's probably the issue. You need to wipe data also.
If through the build.prop, then it should've been OK.
You might be able to dirty flash the odexed as that's like factory.
Again, were taking about a factory update so it really should be a clean install.
Anyone having issues with Android Wear and ZV6? When connected to my Moto360 I get running sync loop. The only thing I haven't tried is resetting the phone and watch.
Since the update is already signed by LG, we should be able to use flashify if we have stock recovery and rooted. Is that correct? I know that I should bump TWRP, but I was holding off till lollipop. Just looking to do a dirty flash.

I know Flashify has had issues in the past with these Roms. That's why I recommend doing it in TWRP.
If you have TWRP already why Bump it again?
Maybe I'm misunderstanding.
Edit. I wouldn't think stock recovery would flash this. It's using bits and pieces of ZV6 but not all of it.
And I think the updater-scipt would make it fail. I may be wrong though.

I'm stock recovery and rooted. Since I haven't bumped TWRP, I thought I could flashify and avoid the 5 second TWRP delay issue by holding off on a custom recovery until we get the stock rooted version of lollipop. You and autoprime have always given solid advice and as such I will take your suggestion.

And again, I'm outta Thanks, so Thank you.
The 5 sec delay I talked about has disappeared for me now. But then I've flash about a million Roms in the last few days.
Others aren't getting the delay at all.
I guess what I'm saying is you don't need to reflash Bump TWRP. It works just fine. Even if you get that slight delay. Eventually it'll go away.
Edit. Get TWRP installed now. Have some fun with whatever Rom you want to try. Personally I'm not expecting Lollipop til next year. If it happens sooner great.

keeps rebooting (sprint version)
I'm at a loss. Since unlocking my bootloader, flashing TWRP and installing CM11, this is the second Sense rom that doesn't work for me. (unlocked bootloader, s-on, Sprint HTC One Max)
Just as with Adrenaline, I'm able to successfully flash the rom in TWRP and it boots to the HTC setup menu. But shortly thereafter the phone reboots. After that it seems to reboot every 90 seconds. I can't reflash Cm11 without a problem. But as soon as I flash this or Adrenaline the reboot problem reoccurs. Anyone know what I'm ****ing up?

I sent you a PM, but figured I would also respond here. Make sure that the version of TWRP that you are using is from Fly's thread here on XDA:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2498746
If you are using TWRP from Fly's thread, make sure you are not wiping System when flashing the ROM since this is done automatically.
Hope this helps you.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
I've tried both 2.8.0.1 and 2.8.1.0 from that thread you linked. I have followed the instructions in your OP. I only do the swipe to wipe, I don't do any advanced wiping. I think I'm missing something somewhere. The phone starts fine and boots into Android. Once I'm there it reboots after a minute or so. What could cause such an issue?
CM11 flashes perfectly fine and works too except for the lack of Spark and the Wifi profile reset. This is really strange.

Hmm I don't think so. All I did was unlock the bootloader on HTC's website. Then I followed Cyanogen's instructions to put CM11 on there. After I was dissatisfied with the LTE/Wifi issues I tried flashing the Adrenaline rom. When that didn't work I tried yours.
I should mention that I did buy this phone earlier this year on ebay. Supposedly new. Is there a way to find out if the previous owner did flash a different kernel?

I would suspect this to be your problem. After you did your initial flash of TWRP, you created a backup of your phone and saved it...correct?
I am on your sprint version on the ROM and love it. It has been my daily driver for a while but i have one problem.m I have not been able to get LTE to allow me to use wifi tethering at all.. every time I try the LTE signal comes and goes and never stays connected so i can only use 3g which isnt all that bad when i have a good signal, but when I know LTE is available to use itnwould be nice to get full speed from my phone.
I hope this ROM may come to International GSM model too.. :good::good::good:

Hey I just wanted to let you know that I solved my problem in case someone else experiences the same issue. The problem ended up being the SuperSU included in the rom. It was causing the 60/90 second reboot. As soon as I let it update the binaries the reboots stopped.
thanks for all tbe help.

Thanks for the update on what resolved your problem. As I'm learning, i found files i was missing when including SU in the ROM. The newer releases should not have these issues... Sorry for any inconvenience.

yes most likely. these tars don't wipe data, but they do disable root and replace a custom recovery with the stock recovery.

What are people doing to root and install TWRP with this latest version?I read that CF Auto-root for the 900F on 5.0 was working, is that true for the 900T as well? And is the latest Odin-flashabel TWRP working with this update?

Sounds like they got up on the wrong side of the bed. I think it is entirely user error.
To the one thay asked about putting Lollipop on the Metro s5 You Can definitely flash the Lollipop tar on a metro s5 But that will make your firmware completely Tmobile based.
Make sure u back up Metro s5 4.4.2 with twrp
Also latest twrp flashed fine on my Tmobile S5 on Lollipop official

I recently flashed this yesterday with odin. Everything is working great, love it. only issue I have been experiencing isnt really much of an issue but rather just annoying. For some reason I am unable to change any text notification sounds. No matter what I do it is stuck on the whistle notification. Ive even booted back into recovery and tried to wipe cache again and that doesnt seem to work either. I already performed a factory reset in recovery before first boot. So idk. anyone know what the issue could be?

I am stock not rooted. Used Odin to do all flashing after I first did Ota 5.0 update. Without rooting what would you suggest?
