[Theme] 'Discreet Blue' - ™ Toscha42 (v 1.1) - Galaxy Tab S Themes and Apps

This is my theme 'Discreet Blue' - after Galaxy S II and Galaxy S4 - now for Galaxy Tab S 10.5, oriented on original Holo theme. No gorgeous optical effects, a rather pure theme.

Version 1.1 for SM-T80x.
Version 0.9 for SM-T70x (SMS / MMS unthemed so far).
Required is a rooted stock ROM, a backup prior to installation is highly recommended. Download and simply flash in an appropriate recovery.

Components themed so far:
framework-res
Optical elements of UI, like check-boxes, radio-buttons, tabs, bars etc.
SystemUI
Icons in status bar.
Black status bar.
Settings
'Over-colored' icons reduced in color.
Contacts
Contact pictures eliminated.
Reduced line height for more contacts per page.
Dialer
Keyboard.
File Manager
Icons.
SMS / MMS
Style of bubbles.
Contact icons removed.
Clock
Icons, backgrounds.
Calculator
Keyboard.
More apps will follow but at first I'll concentrate on some bugfixing.

You may find some graphical glitches sometimes. These are made by purpose to identify some elements. In this case just send me a screenshot I'll supply a patch on short notice then.

Probably with de-odexed as well but it's developed and running fine on stock odexed ROM.

ok I just flashed it on latest stock NH1 and it seems to work but the translation is messed up on most of things in settings for example instead of Applications it says Gallery, but I guess it's because I use a different base?

Rather strange, could you post a screenshot? As I've only reworked on icons but nothing on xml-files within SecSettings I wonder what's going on there.

I took some screenshots, most is messed up I think... I switched to English language (running Swedish otherwise, but same problem there)

yes that's looking fine.. maybe it's the different firmwares? like I said, using the latest 10.5 LTE NH1 firmware.

It's the only explanation which comes to my mind as well. For DBT (unbranded German firmwares) still NFB is the current version. Will be interesting to see once a younger f/w will be rolled out here as well ...

Very subtle. What you actually want to say is install NH1 and get Discreet Blue running ...
But AFAIK NH1 is the France version, with different CSC than mine (OXA). So I'm reluctant installing it.
As I haven't yet found or read anything about NH1 does it run stable?

For the fc in Settings it's bad but simply may be due to differences in f/w between T800 and T805. Unfortunately I only can develop for T805. Nevertheless I'll try figuring out what /might/ be the issue with T800. Once I've found a potential solution I'll upload it but then you would to test it.

hehe it's up to you, it's really no big difference between the Europe firmwares, they all work without any problem... and yes NH1 is very stable as it's a offical firmware, and the latest.

@reubenskelly: What device exactly and which firmware is running?
@galenlau: As resolution is the same for 10.5 and 8.4 you could simply give it a try. Currently I've mainly recoloured icons which should be the same regardless the screen size. But in any case have a backup made first!

Would you do me a favour and extract the following file and send to me? Maybe then I can fix the force close issue for settings:
/system/priv-app/SecSettings.apk
Open with e.g. 7zip, extract:
res/layout-sw800dp-xhdpi/setup_preference.xml
I only would need this specific file.
And thanks for finding one of the 'easter eggs' ...
