might i ask you guys why cm 11 on this phone is so important for you ? i mean you lose such nice addons like remote/qslide etc
and overall the stock android look is kinda cold

You have a thread man for unlock bootloader with 2 methods,on of that will work. And this is not the way to say sings.

a) There are already 2-3 toolkits out there since release
b )Most of the users have already unlocked their device + CWM
c) They use adb and fastboot

Test ROM for the LG G2 D802 - Can someone test?
Ive tried to make CM10.1 for the D802 but I am not sure on how it would work due to me not having a G2. Can someone with the G2 test this please? I am uploading now

Chill, its been 1.5h. We all dont live on the forum... Would a backup from a 16GB help or you want from a 32GB?
This has to be based on the latest build (D80210c).

Im a ROM developer. Mainly ports, not source cause I hate AOSP. I like porting other manufacturer ROM's. However I do have a kernel coming soon with @xboxfanj

I have done a factory reset, backed up just the System using TWRP and then restored a full backup. If I send you a link to the "System only" TWRP backup, will it help, and is that what you need?
If so, I'll start uploading now and I'll send you a link via PM first.

Just noticed that I'm software version D80210b-EUR-XX, is that OK?

I am in the UK. Phone provided by phones.co.uk on O2, but I can put an EE sim in it and it works, so I think I'm sim unlocked.

Go to platform-tools folders where you have installed adb.
Make a folder system in this folder.
Open Command Prompt in that folder and type
Code:
adb pull /system system
It will take some time.
If you find this too hard then do what I said on the PM

if you're unsuccessful with tools like towelroot.... try Kingroot - it's pretty often updated and works great you can also stop apps from autostart ... really usefull tool

I think yes, it will work on other device too, and on all stock rom because it just a script to remove some system/data things...for CM it's hard, but try it and let the developer know

Hi there, I have downloaded the source of omnirom to build for my other device and I think that I can adapt the g2m device tree to omnirom
I can give you some builds of it but I won't be able to test them because I don't have the device
You guys can have the oportunity to have a no cm13 based rom because I think cm13 is a little buggy compared to stock android

You need to have the SD set as Internal Storage on android 6.0 for that option to work.

I actually don't have much time for this because I'm still at school and I have to study and do homework...
Besides, I have a issue, the brunch command is not recognizing the omnified device tree, I think I'm doing something wrong but I don't have much experience with this device...
Also my sources are on github, for anyone who wants to help me or wants to work with me...

I fix the building issue, what I forgot was to add the AndroidProducts.mk file that is necessary to start building the rom; and I added some stuff from CM-LG-MSM8226 and the vendor/lge that has the irrc patch added into the rom!
Now I'm compiling it :victory:

You should replace the quickremote apk from the patch at CM-LG-MSM8226 with the apk from the zip file patch. Otherwise there will be no providers.
