Got it when I purchased the phone. Really like it - dual layer clear case that doesn't add a lot of bulk. Let's the nice body of the Alpha show through and fits great. Will try to post some pics later.
are you thinking about this case

I originally bought the case OP was talking about to hold me over till I could find some clear tpu cases on eBay. Bought the case in the second post a month ago and it arrived a few days ago. I like it much better. Better grip and feels thinner.
you say that that my case is good m8
I still dont get it ,but I think is awesom for alpha

Both cases are great. I prefer the one you posted because it's rubbery in the back and easier to hold on to. The Case Mate Naked Tough case is different. It's plastic and can easily slip out of my hands. It is sturdy; I just prefer a TPU one.
I have the extended battery kit from Samsung and have had trouble finding a case that will fit.
It looks like the bumper on the Case-Mate Naked Tough is on the inside. Can it be used indepedent of the back cover of the case? (Does the bumper fit well enough to stay on?).
Just looking for some glass and aluminium protection.
link frome ebay? thanks
I am wondering also.
I have the Charcoal Alpha with the Case Mate Naked and it's beautiful with case on.
Nice clear and clear Bumper nice buttons.
Want the 2500 mah battery but not sure if case will fit.
Will try to put 1.3 mm filler inside back of case to see.....
Maybe 4 quarters or 1.3 mm coins etc.
Let you know results.
Actually the Alpha with Extended Battery is about 8 mm thick I am told.
A dime is about 1.3 mm thick so if I can put
6 dimes in the back and still get the Casemate back and bumper to fit or stretch to fit we can be fairly certain it will work for Extended Version.
I don' t think the bumper fits too well by itself.
Edit: I do not think the Casemate Naked Tough will fit the extra 1.3 mm thickness from the Extended Battery.
I do not have the extended Battery but used a few dimes ( 1.3. mm thick lol) to see the effect;
The bumper remains in place but the clear backplate will not close completely.
This is a great case IMO not slippery and adds very little bulk to Alpha.
I wonder if this " rubbery" case Silicone I presume can s-t-r-e-t-c-h about 1.3 mm to
fit over extended battery Kit?
Spigen neo hybrid fits perfectly I'm using a sm-g850w with Samsung battery expansion 2500 mah which obviousely includes the backing to accommodate the bigger battery
If u like Spigen it will work out perfectly

Thanks for that.
Can you tell me what this case adds to its size? What are the new dimensions?

Thanks reylankz. VERY informative.
Being cheeky now..... can you tell/show what the Spigen neo hybrid case adds to overall dimensions.
Many thanks

Here is another case I found during my search for unique, high-end cases for our phones. The company who makes it is AG Findings. They own Ballistic, so it's not some no-name company. It is a TPU case with a leather inlay on the back that adds some sturdiness and refinement to a standard TPU case. I actually ordered this case and it should be here Thursday. I'll post pictures when I get it.
Again everywhere I've looked says it fits I777...so we will see.

That's a fine looking case right there. I'm getting a SGSII today hopefully if they come in stock so I'll also be in the market for a case.
I use this case, it's holding up well. AT&T actually carries this one in the store, which is where I purchased it.

I see it for $16 on Amazon w free shipping. I already have a couple of other cases, including the Casemate pop stand (white) and Incipio Featherlight case. While I liked the Pop up stand, it's a bit bulkier than I'd like. Any idea how this one compared to the Casemate pop up case? I like the look, guess I'll do some more research before pulling the trigger on this one.

I think its about as slim as you can get while still having reasonable protection. Id say its definitely slimmer than the pop. Its a classic looking and understated case and feels great in the hand. I'll try and get some pics up tomorrow evening.
Any luck with taking some pictures?
Right! Sorry about that...here's the pics:
Nice! I dig that style.
I may have to pull the trigger on one.

Yeah it is nice. It fits pretty tight and feels good in the hand. The material is smooth to the touch and doesn't snag in pockets. I found it on Amazon for around $12 if I remember correctly. The hole at the top for the headphone jack may not work with some headsets. For example in my car my AUX cable has to be shoved into it with some force to get it plugged in, but once in it stays there. You could always use a hot nail to open the hole up a bit.
I'll probably bore it out with my Dremel
Got my case in today. So far, I'm really digging it. The buttons are a little tougher to press, but I'm getting used to it.
The case is a little tough to get on/off, at least at first. I do like that the case is VERY snug. The case has a good feel to it, although it could have a little more grip to go with the texture. It's also surprisingly light.
I also have a Case-mate Pop Case and an Incipio Feather Ultralight Case, so I decided to take pictures to compare all three.
The Incipio Feather case is by far the slimmest, next is the Magnate, then the Case-Mate case. I paid $25 for the Case-Mate, $21 for the Incipio, and $15 for the Magnate, although the Magnate said $35 on the box and arrived in the official AT&T store packaging.
While the Incipio case was the lightest, it also offered the least protection. I'd probably rate the Magnate case and Case-Mate the same as far as Protection goes. I couldn't be much happier with this case.

Has anyone tried this for the Note 3? I bought something very similar in gray translucent color for my Note 2 which fit the job perfectly since I keep my phone in my front right pocket so don't need anything bulky and the design/color turned out nice. Just hoping the charger port is big enough for use with Smart Dock which was a little snug with the Note 2 one. $3.99 with shipping included from Asia.

old thread, but I came across it and figured i'd respond.
I had something just like this for my HTC One.
it was great in how thin it was. Obviously not much for drop protection, but it provided better grip and scratch protection without adding weight/size.
Only issue was that the fit was very tight, and the material is not elastic. As a result, i ended up stretching one of the cutouts slightly, and it never quite sat perfectly. I liked it anyway, and would try one again if i still had the phone. I might try one of these for my GN3.
These cases are superb. I bought several of these just in case I want to swap them out. So far though, I have only swapped it out once because of light scratches from a year of use on my S3. These cases are definitely not for drop protection. Strictly for scratch protection. They are the thinnest available. They are also not grippy. I like it because I personally hate the dust collecting silicone cases. At first I bought the black version for my black note 3, but then i bought the white/clear version of the case and I like the clear case more. The black case hides the silver accent edge of the note 3 while the white one allows that detailing to show. It also doesn't hurt that they're dirt cheap.
I bought one of these and they are super thin. I love that it barely adds bulk. But as windowmaker said, there's no grip what so ever. At least before you had some grip from the battery cover. I decided to trim out the back of mine so I have some grip at the back since the battery cover is now exposed. But still no side grip. Maybe put clear skinomi skin on the sides for better grip. But if you want thin, this is one of the thinnest out there.

I've got one. Not bad but not perfect. The fit wasn't good enough, it always looked like it was coming off on one side. Cutouts very good. Does not protect the screen or the camera in any way. I switched to Ringke Slim since and I think it's better and not much bulkier. But for the money - great buy. And the Note still looks like the Note. And the owner still looks like homo sapiens not some anal-retentive douche who spends a fortune on a lovely and stylish phone just to turn it into some Ninja-Turtle global destruction device
Does anyone have a picture of the note 3 with this case on?

I used to use these style of cases because I wanted absolute minimal size added to the phone while providing basic scratch protection.
Recently I moved to "skins"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TeStBNHqCZA
That's a skinomi wood one, and I much prefer it to those cheap 2mm cases. Not does it keep the phone slim, it provides the same type of protection. The cheap ebay cases werent going to provide any type of drop protection anyways.
Hi everyone! Just recently got this behemoth of a phone, and it is just too beautiful to go naked bc if I dropped it, it's over. So that saying, my mom has a Galaxy note 2 and she has a case-mate POP case from AT&T on clearance for like $5, and it's a solid case. I want a case similar to this case, where if the phone landed on it's face, it won't be damaged a lot since there's enough lip on the case. This won't really be a major factor since I will be putting a tempered glass protector on it. The major thing I'm trying to find is a case where it won't eat a lot of lint if you do fit it in your pocket, and won't slip off at the corners if you do drop it! I have seen cases that is made out of just TPU claiming tight fit, but as soon as it lands, the phone goes one way and the case goes the other, and also the battery....
I have seen the spigen slim armor, and it looks solid compare to the neo-hybrid. All the other cases are too bulky, like the lovemei, or the ballistic series. Please list your suggestion, and real life photos of the case, including the lip clearance on the screen if you can so I can make my decisions Thanks a lot once again!:good::fingers-crossed:
Slim Armor is a good option if you don't want too much bulk. This case fits very snugly and won't come off unless you pill it off. It provides only modest drop protection though. If you want really good protection an Otterbox commuter or similar such as trident aegis would be better. Those cases make the phone significantly larger though.

I just got the spigen neo hybrid and it's a really nice slim case. I love the styling. Seems like it should be adequate protection for normal use. I just got it today though so not going to comment on the long term.

I've been using my note 3 naked till I got a rock joyful case. It increased the width but not the thickness of the overall feel and it's harder to remove the s-pen but it give me a safer feeling when using it without worrying if drop compared to naked!

Even I have that case it's pretty good but I don't like that plastic rim feels cheap, now using UAG navigator probably the best case for our device imo

thank you all for your answer! The urban armor looks decent but still pretty thick. The otterbox series I don't like since that's over bulking, the spigen slim armor is possibly the best case imo but I don't know how good it is until one of the guy here said it's pretty tight fit

I have one of these cases..probably the best things ever. Had one for my S4 previously, and it took so much damage! My phone is a big thicker now, but it's protected without being otterbox thick
I have both a UAG and otterbox commuter. Used to use those cheap tpu case and I thought it was fine until I dropped any bent my speaker grill.
Ever since then, I'm addicted to UAG. Beware of fakes though. I feel the otterbox a bit too heavy to use.

i just wanna know if any one have experienced the Rock joyful series case for the note 3 ???
so what's the pros and cons ???
i wanna buy, Because it's slim and i like the slim designs so ???
so ???
Rock Joyful Series
I got the Rock Joyful case, which is an awesome case. you can compare it with the Spigen Neo Hybrid, although the Rock Joyful sports an PU Leather back TPU, which feels good. the back doesnt take up fingerprints. the cutouts are very good and does align up with the phone it self.
The Case it self is a tpu with a polycarbonate bumper. My second case is the original S view case (non wireless charging). I have the Spigen Steinheil screen protector on with no bubbles at all.
The polycarbonate frame just broke recently and now i'm looking for a different case. The TPU quality is very good, but the frame is fragile. I would not recommend it because of the frame.
If you are looking for this style of case, get the Spigen Neo Hybrid instead. That case has many good reviews and is probably much more solid.
Link to my pictures of the Rock Joyful case

I don't know if it's just me, but I find it kind of hard to put the case on.
Other than that, I really like the case (I have the black one). It has a great feel, and it doesn't add much bulk to the phone. I feel like the phone is protected well enough with just this case and a tempered glass screen protector (I have a cheap ebay one).
I cycle through this case, a slim TPU case, and sometimes I go commando. I really hate covering this beautiful phone but sometimes I take the precaution and put a case on it for a little while.
Does anyone know if this would work with the wireless charging battery back? I have the Spigen case but it doesn't fit and would like something similar to that.
very nice case i want one
In my opinion the case looks very premium with the leather back. I'm looking forward to getting one soon.
Looks great but will it last?
Excellent case @Popenda.
Where can i find it ?
Sent from my SM-N9005
You can find it on Ebay or Amazon just by searching for it.
Mine lasted a month. Be aware that the frame is fragile. To put the case on the note 3, make sure the frame is on the tpu, as this is will be easier to fit it on.
Just by doing a search i found this listing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rock-Joyful...t=US_Cell_Phone_PDA_Cases&hash=item4179967a76
It's a nice slim case but the plastic frame is fragile, mine broke after 1 month of usage and currently using it without the frame.
This is mine before the plastic frame broke.

Looking out for a new case, currently diztronic is the top of the list.
So I stumbled upon this case on Amazon when searching for either a nice leather or faux leather case for my S7, and I was sick of the only ones available being those portfolio cases that cover the front. All I wanted was a case that was either a tpu style, or one that reminds me of the Incipio Feather or Spigen Slim Fit where the phone just pops in but the tops/bottoms are exposed....well I found this Tscase brand case and this thing is honestly awesome.
http://www.amazon.com/TSCASE-Genuin...&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00
The leather feel on the back is really soft and smooth, and I chose the regular brown one instead of the netted, although the netted looks cool too.

the nice thing about this case is that it comes up over the corners, so the corners aren't so exposed. the top and bottom are exposed, yeah, but as you can see in the pics the corners are fine.
there's also a small lip around the screen so placing it screen down isn't an issue. plus, it pretty much hugs the sides, so i'm sure putting a screen protector that goes edge to edge wouldn't be an issue with this case.
overall, i'm so glad i found a cool leather case for this thing, and for a fraction of the cost of what the official samsung one is going to cost! i recommend this case if you like a thin, leather, good looking case!

the 10 dollar verizon branded ones. they're meh. don't mind the top corner by the ear piece lol...when i put it into gear VR one day it ripped it up and although i'm OCD and it bothers me, i'm way too lazy to put another one on.
plus within a week of having it on, i got a huge gash, so these screen protectors scratch easily. and obviously the sides have that effect because the glass curves.
overall, i only got them bc i needed them day one.
Can't find this in Amazon Canada? Other than Amazon US/UK, anyone know where I can pick one up?
hmm not sure. maybe they just aren't setup to ship in canada? it's a really nice case, though.
I bought the same case and I absolutely love it. I'm interested to see how well it holds up and how it weathers.

it's a great case. i just got the spigen crystal screen protector that wraps around the edges of the phone, and it fits perfectly with this case.
