I have the Korean s3 , I have made it connect to the Spark network here in New Zealand but I cant make any calls from it, I can use data and send SMS but not voice calls, is there anything I can do?
I got it working on the network by going into the hidden menu.

I work in a Galaxy Mega i527 from ATT, the problem is i see signal, data conecction but no make calls and not send messages but open webpages and surf in the data conections....

Hi, I've recently bought a Galaxy S3, Module: SHV-E210L from a website it seems to be original i check with some apps on the Appstore.
But for some reason it can only connect to 3G while in my galaxy s2 i could connect to H+.
I tried to upgrade the firmware to 4.3 but it didnt help. Also I cant make video calls i got this weird icon on the status bar that i guess i related and when i try to make a video call i get: Videos Calls not supported in international roaming area.(I attached a file with the icon)
I tried to deselect roaming(althogh my carrier said to keep it on) it didnt help.

Your in the i9300 / 305 forum you need help from the e210l community.
The S3 you bought is a Korean model and so its optimised for Korean network bands. By using it in your own country the phone thinks its roaming, hence why a.) You have two clocks on your lockscreen and b.) You can only connect to 3G and not H+ or 4G LTE (that variant is 4G enabled).
Its probably also why you can't make video calls.

I have a Galaxy S4 from Verizon NK1 I just moved to Mexico and switched to a local carrier (TELCEL) I am able to use data and make calls when I am on the GSM network mode, in this mode I only get 3G data, when i switch to LTE/CDMA I am able to use 4G data and it works great, however I cannot make or receive any calls, in fact if I try to make a call i loose data connection and I have to reset my phone to get data again.
Any suggestions?

I have a Canadian Galaxy S6 edge .
I am with Telus and the APN settings are correct. It shows t that I am connected to 4G sometimes , yet there there is no internet and I cannot make calls.. Sometimes I am able to make a call but then signal cuts and and I cant make calls anymore. I am able to receive SMS. and wifi works.
I did factory reset and it didnt change anything.
I just bought this phone from someone, and I didn't really have issues yesterday. The only difference between yesterday and today is that I used Samsung's wireless charger to charge the phone....
Anyone can help? Mobile network si set to GSM/HSPA/LTE

Just what the title says. My phone tells callers that I'm not accepting calls and when I attempt to make calls it simply refuses to do so or displayed a "call ended" message without ever dialing the other person. Everything else works fine and I can even make voice calls if I use duo mode instead of mobile. I can also receive calls if the caller uses duo mode.
Have been through everything except an actual reset. Unable to do that since the phone was a hand-me-down and I don't know the PIN. I've about reached the point where I do a hard reset manually but I hate to lose my data. Does anyone have anything I could try to either bypass or recover the PIN or something I could use to get mobile mode to work again?
Your sure you have service? If you do, do you have credit? Both of those would prevent you making calls. You can still use Duo if your on WiFi or you have a data only service. If you are showing that your connected to the network and you are certain you have minutes in your plan or credit available then you will need to call your network provider so they can see if there's any network issues preventing your calls. Check the network operators status page to see if there's issues in your area.

It appears that when using a Galaxy S9+ with ATT service the phone is unable to do VoLTE
The way that I was able to have internet on the phone and voice calling was to go into the APN and set the Network Mode to 3G/2G (auto connect)
That fixed it for me. Still pissed off that I can't use LTE but oh well it will work until I upgrade the phone.

Hello, I have an unlocked s9 that is going through a similar issue in not being able to make or receive calls. Can you let me know how you got the APN settings for 3G/2G? Going to APN settings I only see the nxgenphone setting open and active, which I heard was for LTE.
Also, can you let me know what setting it has to be in the 4636 mobile network settings in order to restore data? Thanks
