hi everybody can somebody assist me what is the simpilist way of perminently restoring imei on the mtk6577 ,my phone is rooted with framaroot and i currently have to reset imei with mobleuncle tools afer i had it restored with mtk engineer mode ,i belive the nvram is corrupted from what i have read online ,what is the simplist way i can get the phone to keep its imei after a reset .i baught my phone online and there is no lenovo back up here in south africa ,i have tried formating the phone and i have reloaded the rom with the original software from needrom the s507 software and got the imei on again but its gone after a factory reset i would appriciate it if someone could help or give me info

I own a chinesse smartphone called Dapeng i9877.I tried to root it but something went wrong and the cellphone bricked.I searched online and I found the original files to restore my cellphne,Everything is ok exept some problems.The cellphone now has no IMEI , no Serial Number , no MAC address.I found a way to restore the IMEI so ok but I cant connet to the net without a MAC address so no wi-fi and bluetooth
No matter how many times I tried to flash my cellphone , the results are the same.Can someone help me? Or can someone tell me how to fix the problem and restore those info?

I join the thread, I have this on Lenovo A660. How to recover IMEI, I cannot use any network SIM card.
I had this problem too but I had a backup of my imei so I could restore it with mtk uncle tools. Maybe if the imei is written on the back of the phone or somewhere inside of it you could edit an imei backup so you could restore it.
Yes, but how to do it? Of course I have IMEI nr of the phone.
You will not find any help here on this. The only way XDA supports on fixing an IMEI is by restoring a backup that should have been made before doing anything to the device.

Ibought this phone on the net and i have problems with imei code its canceled or anything else,
i rothed phone with kingo android root,
and i tryed vith factory restore but not sucesful
and i tryed with MTK tools but not sucesfull,
i want now to flash but i need ROM for this phone anyione know where to find this rom i searched on needrom.cm
but nothing i have screns!
So there is any way to get it back?? imei is null so I cant use as a phone and need it to work
I have tried stock rom again, android mtk tools (the option to repair imei is greyed out),MAUI META 3G (cant connect)... Im getting crazy!

Iemi writer need db file and i didn't found it
