Hey I know that XDA is a much more useful sites for the Rooted Guys out there in terms of Resources for Moded Apps and Themes !! Finding a list of Apps which work as normal apks has always been a difficult job as the resources if any are scattered around !!
Presenting to You a list of Xperia V JellyBean apps extracted from the latest officially released JB Firmware 9.1.A.0.490 Firmware for both rooted as well as Non rooted Devices !! This is a comprtehensive List and not an exhaustive one !!

Weather widget is the same, Music widget is dark non-transparent, photo widget is the same but only resizeable and the new binary clock which is hard to read it

Im extremely sorry for this !! I actually had compiled it for a Facebook Xperia P group and hence uploaded it to their Orignal Box Account !! Would update the links to rapidgator,google drive in the coming hours !! Till then im busy compiling a list of apps working from the Xperia Z System dump !! Kindly have patience I'll Include that in the coming days as well !!

Hey guys, I wanted to flash CM11 LB version on my SP so I need your help to find any z2 apps and features ported to work on cm11
If anyone could help me find these I would be thankful
1.z2 smart social camera- with addons
2.z2 conversations(messaging) - Dialer - Phonebook(contacs) - Media apps (Walkman, Album, etc...) - Alarm and clock - calendar
3.z2 settings (including x-reallity,led notifications etc...)
4.z2 SystemUI - Home - widgets - lockscreen
5.z2 stock sounds - ringtons - walpapers - live walpapers and themes
6.z2 boot animation
7.z2 keyboard with emoji
and anything else if ported

of course I did!
z2 camera was the first thing that came up, found some other apps too but the point is those apps are in other phones' section(like arc s) n I dont know if they work on SP also it would be a good idea to gather all of cm11 z2 working ports in one thread(of course with credits to their porter)
dialer and semcphone are the ones I havent found yet
and seems that 4K, timeshift, answering machine, smart backlight, smart call answering ports wont work on this phone:crying:
I'm struggling to get the Z2 camera to work on CM11 LBL and to say the Z2 camera thread is confusing is an understatement.
Has anyone got it to work cleanly on their XP?

on xperia p?? nope but tried it on sp and camera app gets FC,but some of it's addons work if u run them from apptray

Sorry - typo I meant SP. I love the performance of CM11 on the phone, but miss the Sony camera, and lets face it, the Sony apps is why I bought the Sony handset.
I'm on LBL and unlock = NO so the only thing keeping me with stock is the camera. Xperia M camera on stock gives me the best results.

Not moto g.....m using xperia sp with cm12.1
My other, non-Sony Android can install ported Sony apps, incl. Walkman, through adb or from SD card, but when searching for them on PS, they don't show. What changes are needed in build.prop file to fool play store? Just replacing the manufacturer name with "Sony" doesn't do the trick. I don't want to edit too much of the build.prop, even if it is backed up.

I couldnt find it through search too. I firs find any other sony app in store, then chose developer (sony), and there was ful list of sony apps including walkman.

I don't get the bold part.
Perhaps you mean you open "More by Sony Mobile Communications (SEE MORE)" section on an app's page and you get the list of all Sony apps, incl Walkman, Album, Video, etc? If that's the case, I still don't have those apps in that list. I do have Xperia Diagnostics, Audio Recorder, TrackID, Smart Key, and so on, but not those mentioned in the previous sentence.

I did that and still no Walkman in PS.
I can use the previous version since it works properly, that's no-issue. Just want to have a PS install/update option handy, too, for obvious reasons.

Tried simple c/p the newest version from my XSP (from PS update), but the installation ended with the "Uninstall failed" error every time, even after there were no Walkman of any version on the phone. The ported one from your link installs however you want it to, but, again, I'd rather depend on online PS update, than to wait for a ported version.

PS shows update for walkman in my xsp running on cm12.1 and i have installed v3.5 of that ported walkman.
I'm glad, but that's not the situation in my case.

i am running cm12 with lollipop 5.1 , everything works great except visualizer. any help?
I Have the ZL and was looking for build.prop settings too. I run a custom cm rom on my xperia and can not get walkman or album. Play store shows it as incompatible. Like said previously, I can flash someones port and then it shows on the play store, but sometimes updates will FC the app!
Works with 4.4.x, 5.x.x, 6.x, 7.0, 7.1 (tested CM13 & 14 & 14.1 no problems)
Don't be careless & blame me after
it's just simple instructions
ROOT NEEDED
tested on Moto G 2014 XT1068 (test if you have any other devices)
1. Download latest apk (tested and working version 9.3.1.A.0.0)
Current version "Music v9.3.1.A.0.0.apk" by Sony (previously aka Walkman app)
Google it to download/attached files
2. Rename the downloaded apk to "com.sonyericsson.music" and also create a folder named "com.sonyericsson.music" and put the apk inside this folder.
[OR just download the file i provided, just extract it to [# System (Root)>system>app] & paste the folder here
Use any file explorer (i used FX File Explorer)
3. Reboot and Enjoy
EDIT: new version "9.3.1.A.0.0" added!!! TESTED AND WORKING

I was using this player version 9.0.1.A.3.1 beta from another thread. In order to update it I just overwrote the previous app version with this new apk and it works out without problem. Thanks very much
