Too much spacing between statusbar icons.. I need help. - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, my problem is that there's way too much space between notification icons in the statusbar towards the left(I mean notifications from apps not battery/signal/clock).. please does anyone know the right xml in SystemUI or any other apk that I need to edit to fix this? You can see the attached screenshot to know what I'm talking about.. with only five notification icons, my statusbar is already full.. I need assistance please..
My phone is a mediatek MTK6572 device running android 4.2.2 Jellybean. Thanks.

I able to reduce the space between the dock icons and the first row of the desktop...
But I have a FC when I try to put an icon in the desktop. I think this is because the size of the icons it´s not right. I need someone who know or maybe want to help.

Hey Guys, I'm kinda frustated with theming. Some ROM came with black background notification. I wanted to make it transparent
Some of them can be changed from System UI xhdpi tw_quickpanel_bg.png, but in the ROM I'm using there's no such files
I want it to be like this one below, like 20% transparency

need help changing the notification bar

im using xperia play and im trying to get rid of the date in the notification bar by editing the xml
in systemui.apk with no luck, i dont know which line to change..
its a waste of space thats why i want to remove it.
uot kitchen cant remove it, its just make the fonts transperent.

can someone advice what to do?

[Q] Changing Quick Toggles Background

Hi I tried to change our 4.1.2 Jellybean rom into a S5 look which I have trouble changing the toggle background see screen shot
I cant see any related drawable-hdpi image and also in the drawables xml too :crying:
