I've been using Solo Launcher for about six months now and I'm very happy about it. I've been trying out several themes, including those for GO Launcher but that's exactly what this thread is about. Solo Launcher claims that it's compatible with themes of other launchers such as Go Launcher (Ex) but I feel those are false claims. I have tried 3 different GO Launcher themes and all it ever does it replace the wallpaper! The icons remain unchanged so how can you call that 'compatibility'? Is this supposed to happen or am I overlooking something because GO Launcher has a few very cute themes I really wanna use but I can't due to this. I don't wanna use GO Launcher because it's a battery and resource devourer. So what am I doing wrong if it's a case of user error?
I'd ask the developers / report it as a bug. Alternatively, you could give this a shot.

U can make ur own theme on the phone exactly the way u want it to look.

No, I don't think so. It's just an home replacement! Install and enjoy
Hi.
Been doing some research, and have another quick question. Is this one like launcher pro and ADW Launcher? How do you compare the three?
Thanks
Yes, exactly. They are all three home replacements. I'm not sure how it works, but I think it runs over the existing homescreen and creates a customize able menu for you to set up with themes and settings.
I have tried this "sweeter home", and I find it a little buggy and hard to work with, but with more things to customize. I think that ADW Launcher and Launcher Pro are better home replacements, they are more stable and very easy to customize...
There is actually many more home replacements out there...
I would recomend you to try them out and find wich one you like the most
I'm using OpenHome at the moment.
Thanks man.

anybody wanna test this out?
OMG that looks sweet.
I had tried this before and its not something very attractive. There are other members who tried it with an app for such UI. One such post can also be found in the "Screenshots" of home screen topic found in the apps section.
No thanks, I have some humility left.

Not sure why it's either classic or funny but whatever. Anyway I think it's a fine looking theme.
Because GNU is the exact antonym of "Microsoft software".
And I can't stand the idea of this theme being tried on an Android device.
Just wanna say that i've made this theme
Please follow my blog and my youtube channel if you want more themes.

Nicely done. I'm using your Defy 7 theme now with my own little spin on it. Will be posting screen shots in the screenshot thread later today.

Step 1: Launcher settingsGo to your Launcher settings and change the Icons per sites option (Columns 6, Rows 10).After...

Well, it should be removable after trying it out, hence it could be worth a try, mh? - At least as long as you're not totally happy with your standard themed android.
Is there any possible way to edit Golauncher Ex to use the system ICS transitions instead of the gingerbread zoom?

Here we go. The title of the thread says the theme is for CM7 but never discusses if that is the only rom it will work on. I'd give it a try regardless of which rom you are on just please make sure you nandroid backup before doing so.

Nice find. Thanks!
Hey, thats my thread. lol. That mod unfortunately wont do anything with Go Launcher since Go Launcher has its own built in transitions and it doesnt let you disable them. The only way to get it working with Go launcher is if the developers make it possible to disable transitions or add in ICS transitions of their own.

Exactly why I thanked you under your download link. This is a very cool find, although you have no idea where it came from, lol!
I wonder if a adw or launcher pro allow you to disable built in transitions. I've always wondered so many people like those launchers, this maybe part of the answer.

I hope they let us. I emailed them with the suggestion.

If use stock rom with non-root only install any launcher and download icon pack, but use custom rom change everything(battery icon, setting backgraund, status bar backgraund etc.)
Try different launchers like themer go launcher next launcher etc. Search the playstore for launchers and their themes, you won't need root and there are some pretty cool themes I'm themer. It even has its own forum
