Hello there guys I have a JB galaxy s3 i9300 o2 and I cannot install nor clockwork or twrp... tried possible ways via Odin (succeeds but boots in stock recovery) or via terminal emulator with a command but nothing seems to work cause when I reboot all I have I the stock recovery . Anyone has an idea of what's going on ?
If you have stock firmware then that will check and restore stock recovery.
Phone is rooted , but yeh I have stock firmware the point is how could I have a custom firmware without having a custom recovery ?

hi,
I have a orange samsung galaxy s2. I upgraded the ROM to 2.3.6 and rooted it via Odin.
I want to install a custom rom in the device but the problem is
the recovery menu is still the stock one. I cant seem to change the recovery. I tried upgrading it via ROM Manager but no gain.
Please Help
rom manager can't flash cwm to your phone, did you flash CF-root with odin? if you didn't then flash it and you should have cwm

Hi,
Thanks for the unbelievably fast reply. Yes i did add CF-Root-SGS2_XW_OXA_KK5-v5.0-CWM5 as a PDA option in Odin. I followed this guide http://androidadvices.com/root-samsung-galaxy-s2-gt-i9100-xwkk5-gingerbread-236-firmware/
should i do it again?

Hi,
Problem solved. I flashed the CF-root and tried the 3 button combo to go into the recovery but no gain.
What made it work was that i started the CWM app and went into the recovery from there. That made it work for the 3 button combo as well.
I want to know how to flash latest version of cwm recovery to my phone (samsung galaxy young s6312, stock android 4.1.2 jellybean)
I know that i can do it with rom manager but u i don't know if rom manager is compatible with my device. Can anyone confirm if rom manager is compatible with my device, and if it is not, then what is the easiest way to flash cwm recovery???

Just go to rommanager site to see the list of compatible devices
Or install rom manager in your device and try for yourself
There is no easiest thing or like that
Search if there is any cwm.zip for your device if available flash that
If not you have to wait until someone build a cwm for you or build yourself

There is another way to flash cwm and I think that it is the fastest way
First download Odin and flash cwm through it.

Hello guys i'm just facing a problem with my s3 .. i have been using custom rom 4.4.4 for a long while but today i wanted to back to the stock rom (4.1.2) using odin .. after installing the rom it doesn't boot anymore i waited more than a hour and nothing happened.. i also reinstalled the rom again and i also followed the steps one by one , please help me thanks all
Factory reset in recovery.
4.1 may cause your efs to be unreadable, flash 4.3 stock instead.
1. Does Odin confirmed that the flash succeeded?
2. If yes: boot into stockrecovery and do factory-reset.
Worked .. thank you both very much i really appreciate that

Hi I have Galaxy Ace
I' install the CM7.2 on it using the CWM v5.0.2.6
Well now I'd like to retun to stock rom
I found that I cannot connect my phone to the computer(I have a damaged micro usb on the phone) to use Odin
Well is there any way to return to stock rom without odin, by using the SD card?
Thank's
You can return stock Rom with mobile Odin, if it supports your device. If isn't, you can flash stock based Rom
