It's built a bit later, didn't check it really, maybe it cointains more changes. But even now there are few new commits in AOSP, not included yet in any ROM.

Woops! wrong thread

What is the difference between the lollipop binaries and offical binaries? Like functionaily wise

Does this contain SuperSU, or do I need to flash after install?

Whenever I try to flash, it tells me that there is no OS installed when I try to reboot.

NO OS install like another L thread.

Sorry op for posting link

Worked for me. I flashed a factory image of kitkat, then factory reset, then flashed twrp recovery, and then flashed this zip with the gapps for lollipop hosted by cyanogen.
Got root by flashing supersu's modded kernel and then supersu update zip.
All apps were automatically backed up after boot, but there is one strange thing:
Google play keeps telling me Google plus is incompatible. Is this something wrong with the Rom? Or lollipop? Or something else??

Just updated drivers really. There currently aren't any lollipop binaries that are available. Unless you can pull them from the current preview. However, you can use the preview binaries or the 4.4.4 ones until the new ones drop. I used the preview ones, but haven't been able to flash it yet.

Flash the FLO bootloader. It's OK.
is it only working as primary via multiRom recovery?
I installed it as secondary and it failed to boot.
Google+ still missing for me here
Just finished booting.
Root is no-go for me (says binaries not installed despite having installed supersu zip).
Gonna see if I can tinker around with it to make it work, but for now no root for me.

That is an affirmative.
Also after you install it as primary, you'll need to install a kexec kernel to be able to boot to your other (now secondary) rom.
ElementalX 3.00 should work fine for that.

root does not work
on this core
I flashed my deb to stock 4.4.4, installed twrp, followed all instructions in op, and I cannot root. Thus I second another user's experience with root not working/SuperSU saying there are no binaries installed. I did install the supersu zip in twrp.
Also can't install Google+ neither from Market nor APK.
Fixed by flashing newer gapps package found here.

[ROM] VanillaAOSP [Android 5.1.1_r13 LVY48E][Aug 17, 2015]

VanillaAOSP
This ROM is built straight from Google sources without any changes/modifications.
Please feel free to flash it on your device or use it as a base for your own custom ROM if need be.
I don't plan on making any changes to the ROM or adding any features etc. I usually run the factory image on my device unrooted a lot of the time. I just love the vanilla android simplicity and ease of use. I also really enjoy AOSP as well, so vanilla AOSP works for me. Enjoy.
Instructions
1. Have the latest TWRP installed on your device
2. Full wipe if coming from another ROM (make sure not to wipe internal storage)
3. Flash ROM
4. Flash Gapps
5. Flash SuperSU
6. Enjoy

The factory image from Google comes with all Google proprietary apps and services pre installed.
ROMs built from AOSP source don't have any Google apps installed at all. All the apps are open source. So there is AOSP calendar, AOSP Dialer, AOSP Gallery, AOSP Camera, Keyboard etc etc.
If you want Google apps you can flash separately in a custom recovery.

So to be clear, this has just AOSP GApps right? Will GApps remove the AOSP apps when flashed?

The ROM itself comes with AOSP camera which does not have HDR+. The Gapps package also does not include Google Camera. However, Google Camera can be downloaded from the at Store and it does provide HDR+ capabilities. I just tried it out and it worked. Thanks.

I guess it depends which Gapps package you choose to flash whether it removes the AOSP apps. The SimpleAOSP Gapps I linked to earlier does not remove the AOSP apps. If I am not mistaken I believe PA Gapps will remove AOSP apps. So depends what you want and which gapps you choose to use. Whichever suits you best.

[TWRP] [CAF] TWRP CAF Builds for Nexus 5

I will update this thread whenever a new TWRP build for hammerhead comes out....
What is it for?
Those who want to flash CyanogenMod (myfluxi) builds with Code Aurora Forum (CAF) optimizations, will require this modded TWRP as those builds will not flash with regular TWRP recovery.
Download
https://dl.twrp.me/hammerheadcaf
How to install this recovery?
(Make sure your bootloader is unlocked.)
Flash the downloaded recovery.img with fastboot. (fastboot flash recovery recovery.img)
Previous Build
Download
(Current TWRP-CAF version: 3.0.0)
rghost.net/7gBSJsDMZ
How to install this recovery?
(Make sure your bootloader is unlocked.)
Flash the download in any custom recovery to switch to TWRP CAF.
OR
Extract downloaded zip, flash the extracted recovery.img with fastboot. (fastboot flash recovery recovery.img)
TWRP-CAF latest sources (based on CM13): https://bitbucket.org/kylon/android_device_lge_hammerheadcaf_twrp

I changed the script installation, simply I took the script of a no caf and overwrite a caf, ie used the TWRP without alteration and it worked. The net effect (stability, speed, compatibility) is the same?

Sure but you have to edit your updater-script for each nightly. Moreover, if you are using an updater tool like CyanDelta then TWRP for CAF is more than welcome.
With another unofficial version I use, there's no differences between AOSP and CAF versions. TWRP for CAF works with 'hammerheadcaf' instead of 'hammerhead' when flashing a rom. That's it.

Yep deleting apps, adding personal apps, inserting lines in build.prop can be done with a flashable zip. Though you may have to read a little to create the updater-script.

Friend I have not any problems with scripts, only it's more convenient for me to include in the rom zip my custom structure, only this.
So this is a hybrid Recovery, can we use Non-CAF roms with this one? and is multirum useable?
Would love to see the possibility using a CAF rom as Primary and Android M as Secundaire !

[GUIDE] Helper zips to switch between OOS 3.0 and OOS 2.2.1 firmware

At the moment we have rather dfficult situation because custom ROMs based on AOSP (such as my AD which is not yet public) require previous OOS LP firmware, while OOS 3.0 includes new MM firmware which breaks both older recoveries and custom ROMs.
As I need to switch between OOS 3.0 and my AD quite frequently, I created two helpful flashable zips so I can do that easily, and because it's useful for me, perhaps it'll be useful for you too.
Download: MM | LP
Instructions:
- Download the firmware you want (or both, if you want easy switching)
- Unpack downloaded zip, you'll find firmware-update.zip and recovery.img inside
- Put both of those files on your phone, in appropriately named directory such as "firmware-LP" or "firmware-MM"
- When you will need to do a switch, simply firstly flash firmware-update.zip, then flash recovery.img as recovery image via "flash image" option in TWRP
- Reboot to load new firmware
That's it, this way you firstly flash chosen firmware version, and then TWRP recovery that works with it.
So if you have two TWRP backups - one of OOS 3.0 and one of CM13.0, make sure that you have proper firmware (and recovery) after restoring backup - LP for CM13.0, and MM for OOS 3.0.
Situation should soon improve (when OnePlus pushes kernel sources, and MM-based ROMs will rebase), but until then it's wise to keep both of those firmware + recovery combos on your sd card, so you can do a switch without any problem on as-needed basis.
Hope it helps. Try to be careful with those, if you mix up wrong recovery with wrong firmware you'll need to flash proper recovery.img variant via fastboot. You can't hard brick anything by using those files, in worst case soft-brick if both your recovery and your ROM will be for wrong firmware you have.
Have fun.

Hi! I Want to Share with you official Stock Clean Deodex Zipalign ROMs kernel pathed, DRM-fix included
It's a base for development and is ready for modifications like eXposed etc. or for patch ROMs (like an eXistenZ O ROM etc.)

Now I have deodexed .50 FW (for eXistenZ O v6.0.0):
F5121 download (MEGA)
F5122 download (MEGA)
Deodex .85 FW
F5121 download (MEGA)
F5122 download (MEGA)
Latest Stock Deodex .118 FW (for eXistenZ O v7.0.0):
F5121 download (MEGA)
F5122 download (MEGA)
folder with ROMs
ROMs tested on both devices F5121 and F5122 so enjoy.
before installing:
make shure you have unlocked bootloader and backup DRM-keys with Dirty Caw exploit
Have allready installed latest SONY FW with Flashtool or Emma for latest bootloader
Backup all your Data before wipe
Installation:
1) Copy Deodexed ROM zip into a memory card or internal phone storage
2) Install TWRP 3.x.x
3) Go to TWRP and make wipe (data, system, cache, dalvik cache)
4) Go to Install section of TWRP and navigate to zip location
5) install zip with Full Deodex ROM
6) restart the phone with TWRP
7) wait while bootable
8) enjoy
if you need root or other addons make shure you have boot ROM first. Don't flash all zips mods after ROM installation it cause a bootloop and you will wipe and install the ROM again

Like on Stock FW, the ROMs have not any modification, so battery life is the same as on stock. You can mod it by yourself.
can u make one for f5122 from. 266 7.0
why is it not installing on my F5122? I am trying to install .85 FW but while flashing its showing Error 7, this zip is for SUZU DSDS device but this is a SUZU device.
I am using TWRP 3.2.2

Added ROM for F5122
Question - why whole rom? Are there other things modified besides /system/ (app, priv-app, framework, vendor)? I'm asking because of my problems with deodexing XC, as I mentioned to you. What files or folders are changed besides /system? Thanks

I have not had any problems deodexing or making patches or zips. I've been doing it since LP, and haven't had any problems. TOAD worked fine to deodex the whole 118 system (/app, /priv-app, /framework, and /vendor/framework), and flash it, but there's some problem. I flash clean stock rom, flash deodex with wipe, and no other mods, and it boots fine and all apps work, but it's slow and laggy (sticky, stuttering). That's why I wondered if maybe something else in / might need to be modified. The error in locating is 'can't create image space from image file system/framework/boot.art... Only Zygote can create global boot image'.
