If you use that tar, that will put your phone back to factory stock out of the box with the newest software version. If you are looking for the latest version of twrp, just Google and then you can reroot and then put twrp back on. Use Odin to do it all. Hope that helps. Now if you are already rooted, then yes, just find the latest version of twrp and then flash in Odin.

Hello,
I have flashed the stock version of Sprint TouchWiz Jelly Bean 4.3 (N900PVPUBMJ4) DeOdex Rom and flashed the MJ4 update fix as well. But, unfortunately I am not able to get my Baseband version updated. Its still stuck on N900PVPUMBMI3. I have flashed it using TWRP Manager.
You help will be appreciated!

Hey @mjcollum, how do I get the AP and CSC file from the MI5 to flash?
Also, how do I wipe without using TWRP?
Kind of want to start from scratch... Thanks

Need help putting my Note 3 back to stock

Trying to put my Note 3 back to stock so I can get the Kit Kat update. Download the stock 4.3 firmware and used Odin to flash it. But as seen in the pictures, it failed. Now I can't even turn it on. When I do, it shows the message saying "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again." Any help would be appreciated.

Problem solved, was trying to flash firmware version MI3. It doesn't work, because you can't downgrade to a previous version of firmware. I downloaded version MJ4 from www.sammobile.com and it worked perfectly.

You may not.. But I had problems taking the KK update OTA being as though I was 0x1. Ended up flashing the official tar file via Odin.

Had nothing to do with it ... There are two spots that need to say official in the phone and not custom ... Sometimes you may have to flash Rom in Odin boot into stock recovery factory reset and then flash the Rom in Odin again ... To get it to official and take ota without it failing

Yea.. I did all that. Odin'd back to MJ4 stock. Factory reset. Confirmed both officials in download mode. Rebooted and tried taking OTA. No Buenos

Modems?

So I was on a 4.2.2 build for the longest time and wanted to check out a KitKat ROM. So after flashing it and not caring too much for it, I went back to my backup only to find out that I have no cell service.
Can someone tell me what I need to flash via Odin or possibly recovery to get my cell service back?
I'm on beans7 with 4.2.2.
Thanks XDA peeps! Much appreciated!

So here's what I have and I've tried a few different modems from that link and no matter what, it still boots, but no cell service. Any ideas? I've tried both ME7s regular and non and even an MDK stock, but no luck :-\

Since your on MDK have you tried flashing the MDK non-hlos modem? Not just the " modem only " one.
Usually flashing a new ROM doesn't effect your modem at all so I'd usually say that it's the ROM that's the problem. But since you've been trying different modems to try and fix the problem it may good to try the non-hlos one. Also make sure whatever recovery your using is up to date.
I've had to flash the MDK non-hlos then I used the phone for a few days and ended up flashing the NC5 one without issue.

This is the link to odin back to stock GS4 MDK bootloader
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2289325
That happens to me and the only way to get my phone back to normal was with this link.

Galaxy Note 3 won't boot any custom recovery.

I just bought a Samsung Galaxy Note 3, didn't upgrade the firmware, rooted with Kango. Currently running stock 4.3. Problem is, the phone only boots the stock recovery, which I didn't back up before rooting. Also, CF-AUTO Root fails in Odin. When I flash any recovery and do the recovery combo it gets stuck saying "booting recovery".

Nevermind, I flashed the NAB firmware and the engineer bootloader. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction though, turns out PhilZ recovery (my preferred recovery) only works with NAB.

If you want to stay with Philz recovery. I am rooted with SuperSu v1.94, and Philz Custom version 6, I used Odin v1.85 to load this .tar file "philz_touch_6.12.9-hltespr.tar.md" my baseband is NC5. Works perfect !!!!

Did you try the full wipe tar? Also are you positive you're on MDK now and you downloaded the mdk tar? And did the md5 match on your download?
These are the most basic things that would prevent your phone from booting.
