[Q] youtube videos download - Kindle Fire HDX 7" & 8.9" Q&A, Help & Troubleshoot

Hi, I have the latest Kindle Fire HDX 7" and am having problems downloading and saving youtube videos to it. I have downloaded different apps but to no avail. The latest was Droid Youtube video downloader. This worked fine to download but then when I try to view the videos it tells me "Can't play this video".
I wish to do this because I will be spending three months in South America and where I will be there is no internet connections and I want to watch some tutorials to keep from being bored.

[Q] Downloaded Youtube Videos Lag

So i got my atrix about a week ago, and one thing that has stuck out to me is that downloaded youtube videos wont play. They wont play on the stock video player and they open on third party players, but the lag makes them unwatchable. I've downloaded from multiple sources, apps on the market, plugins through chrome, and even from websites that have already downloaded the video for me, yet the problem persists. Anyone have the same problem or some fixes?
By the way, the players I've tried are RockPlayer Lite and Mobo Player.
The youtube downloader app is TubeMate

[Q] Google Movies on Nexus

Hi there,
Like many others my phone is rooted. OTA Rootkeeper and all the others are not working to let me watch rented movies on Google Videos. The most it will do is let me into the app, and then it crashes when I try to play. I'm running cm9. Has anyone had success watching rented movies on their nexus?

If you're not rooted and/or don't want to mess around with the youtube app, sideload TubeMate. When you switch to full screen, it'll give you resolution options. And of course, TubeMate's main function is that it allows you to download the video to your device. Downloading youtube videos doesn't jive with Google's TOS, so you have to do a search and sideload it; it's unavailable from the Play Store. I can't get FHD to work for playback, even on my LG 8.3 tablet ("not supported); it maxes at 720p. However, I can download at FHD and watch it with a 3rd party player (but requires MP3 Video Converter to also be installed).
There's also SuperTube (available from the Play Store). No downloading of course, but it lets you select the resolution up to 720p. The nifty thing with this app is that it's also a floating player, which means you can watch a video on top of another app or your homescreens.
Thank you very very much @lootjelo.
Thanks, i was looking for this, all i need is to have the phone rooted correct?
My device is rooted. Installing for Youtube 4.4.11 v5b apk , your need uninstall to installed system youtube application. Need rooted device for this. @fakeblitz

Videos wont play after update.

Wifes DNA got a new update the other day. Since the new update videos will not play in facebook, youtube, viemo, or through web browser. Netflix works just fine. Was this a possible bad download?

Help me with these problems

Since no one is replying to my post, I decided to rewrite this again.
Problems:
Displaying "Samsung Galaxy Win GT-I8550" during boot
Most of the videos on YouTube (app) cannot be played
YouTube (app) and video players (Video Player or MX Player) is limited up to 360p
Crash when "Videos from the web" card is displaying on Chrome
Why do I care about these?
After countless times of installing custom ROM, I decided to revert back everything to default.
So, I installed I8552XXAMK1 on my phone with Odin3 and I found that my phone is displaying "Samsung Galaxy Win GT-I8550" when it is booting up.
I do know that GT-I8552 is just GT-i8550 but with dual SIM.
This problem might be the reason why my phone can't play any videos that are above 360p. (Problem 3.)
Recently, my phone cannot play most of the videos on Youtube. Even the videos that I used to watch with my phone cannot be watch now.
I uninstalled YouTube (uninstall updates) and I found that I can play the videos that I used to watch. But, after I installed latest version of YouTube, I cannot play them.
I don't want to use old version of YouTube since I really like the UI of latest version of YouTube.
So, I would love to know how to fix this problem without needing me to force myself to use old versions.
I think this problem is related to Problem 1.
My phone cannot play videos that are higher than 360p.
On YouTube, I always need to watch them in 360p, which is pretty hard to me when I am watching educational videos that involves text. Well, this is fine since I can at least watch them.
But, when I downloaded video that are above 360p (stored in phone), I cannot watch it at all. Unlike YouTube that allows me to change resolution, video players cannot.
So, I installed MX Player and needed to enable SW decoder to watch 480p and above videos.
Problem fixed? No, I want to watch videos on YouTube on 480p so it is easier for me to see things.
I really hate this one. Every time I am using Google, it always crashes when "Videos from the web" cards shows up.
Please help me fix this one because this is really disturbing me.
Please excuse my language since English is not my main language and I rarely ask for help online. You might noticed that my sentences are not really well-organised and really hard to read. I did my best to write this and I hope you reply to it.
