there's a thread in which a dev ported the remote play app to all android devices. it requires a custom recovery, but I have no root access since I purchased from att. has anyone attempted this on tab s yet? I imagine it'd be nice on these beautiful screens. for those not in the know, remote play allows one to stream game to an android device for remote play.. . Sony only officially supports experia devices...

Hello I just got a tablet from my brother and it is a Samsung 10.1 for t-mobile. I took the Sim card out and I just use it on WiFi. My question is is there a root available for my device?
I have more information about my device

Will this disable my s pen?
Towelroot should work since you're on a kernel made before June.

S pen ..is another term ! Shuame is for rooting andrioid devices! Root means you can gain acess to system of the adroid.

No problem. If you didn't know, or haven't done so already, you should install SuperSU or Superuser to make sure you have control over which apps are granted root access as Towelroot just enables it for everything by default.
Hi all, i was wondering if anyone could suggest a good app for the above. I have been using apps from google play but there either well outdated or stopped working since i got lollipop update. Thankyou

I've never properly used a lollipop device but isn't the people app supposed to have a in built export import feature? I'm surprised that you even have to use a 3rd party app

I will just backup to google, best way i guess.

I have a Samsung galaxy J7 crown (which is impossible to root) and I would like to get some apps from there to my rooted pixel.
Is there any way I can do this?
Any help would be appreciated

APK Extractor - as its name implies - extracts the APK from apps installed on your android device, but NOT an app's data.
If you want to move your app data from one smartphone to another, you can do it with the Helium app easily - requires USB-Debugging is enabled on both devices.
