Check the "LG G3 system update incoming" thread. Autoprime gave us a way to flash the boot, system and modem images.

Thanks I have searched for it but cant find it. Could you tell me what page its on?
Thanks

I believe it is on page 27, maybe page 28, and it is the last post on that page.

I flashed the one Beanstown had on his 11c rom easily. Didn't have to rename files.

ZVA to ZV8 Downgrade

I just successfully downgraded from ZVA to ZV8 using LG FLASH TOOL with the ZV8 tot file as instructed in the unroot, restore factory tutorial here on xda. I'm about to re update and try to root ZVA and attempt to root. I will post back after I test. I'm guessing that the latest root method should work as download mode still works.
Root appears to root correctly but when you boot back up no root. rct.cfg logs busybox as being installed but not root. I'm trying a few things to get this working I will report back.
I have figured out how to root the ZVA update. I will post back in about an hour or so with an update.
UPDATE: I got it done and uploaded the thread can be found here.

I do not have it. I too am looking for a tot version of this update. You could get the update by manually asking for it on your phone. System Updates > Update LG Software.

Root idea ATT G5

Has anyone tried using send_command to flash the LAF partition to BOOT (for backup sakes.. Need to be able to revert), after backing up to sdcard obviously, then flashing TMOBILE LAF to LAF partition. Rebooting the device again to download, now fastboot and oem unlocking? I was able to get this working on my old G3, I just got stuck in fastboot due to lg not having an official unlock tool (now available). From there TWRP could be flashed, and then root! After flashing the stock boot of course!!
Seriously!? Nobody responded!???? Maybe post this in the G5 Q&A????

No, and honestly I don't think there will be. AT&T has locked this device down, and I mean locked it down HARD. If AT&T will release a tot or kdz then maybe we could get root, as someone could just make a pre-rooted system of the tot or kdz (right, guys?) but until (or if) they release it, I don't think there will be root. I would be willing to test for some things if I knew I could just flash back to stock if things go wrong but right now I can't, so I'm not willing to test for anything as I don't have the money to just go purchase another device if this one bricks.

You are kind of on the right path, but there is no way to just "flash" the t-mobile LAF partition. There are too many security variables that you need to find a work-around for, along with trying to find a way to get it onto your device.
Another thing is that THE SEND_COMMAND DOES NOT WORK ON THE G5. This has been talked about on many other threads, and it doesn't work.
Why is the AT&T getting so little love compared to all other models !? We need root too

Well the biggest issue is on top of AT&T locking the device down, they aren't releasing a kdz or tot file.
I've been out of the game for awhile, but aren't they obligated to due to open source?

Yea that's what I was thinking. How can they be the only carrier that doesn't have to release the FW? They do the same thing on the AT&T S7 and S7E. Can they be sued for that?

Thank you for sharing kdz firmware for this model can you please share your experience if u already had flash this file I need to ask one more question this is been said on website there.
Please note that it works on LG K371 with v10a or v10b firmware only.
Please do not try to down grade the OS of your LG K371 phone.
And My phone already has latest k37110h version so I'm afraid to trying because I might end bricking my device then later waiting for LG to release latest version of kdz for able to unbrick restore to stock the reason I wanted to downgrade so I can try some root method to see if we can able get root access for this device
please let me know what you think about this ...

Does anyone have a stock rom dump (kdz or tot) for the LG K371 for version k37111n?
I now have a play unit and have had some interesting times dealing with the hardware boot lock and need to reflash the firmware, but it wont let me flash old firmware. Any assist, or ideas on how to dump from another k371 unit, would be awesome possum
I dont try it I just see a post who some one was needing and i try to help him
IF you haven't found a solution, you can send your phone to LG, it should still be under warranty. They will reflash it for you.
Thanks for kdz
Because lg bridge does not let update this particular model, it tells me that software can not be verified. I have version 10b
KDZ is of no use unless you are on that version. LGUP trips antirollback if you try flashing it. I have searched far and wide across the web and so far only found this file, a handful of update .up FOTA files and an actual dump made from infinity box. However none work and i cant use the dump because fastboot wont work on the phone!
Does anyone have any other kdz's or am i going to have to create one?

US997 Software update (10/4/18) 21c

I snoozed the notification then realized I should probably let someone know.
Currently can't install it because I have TWRP installed.

This guy got it as well.
Thanks for posting. I hope some kind soul does what was done for the 21b stock ROM, and makes a twrp installable zip for those of use who don't know how to convert a kdz.
I'm willing to throw 30 dollars towards someone that does it. I'm sure a few more folks will add to it.

I don't think so for this update. I haven't seen the kdz anywhere. Personally, I went to unrooted stock using an older kdz and LGUP (with Uppercut) and then immediately got the OTA.
i guess nobody is interested in it?

Do you mean the full image KDZ? Within a few days of OTA, usually sites like LG-Firmwares.com has access to KDZ. Or members here share copies they have downloaded via LG Bridge. Right now I am uploading the full 3GB to my Android File Hosts account to share with everyone from there.
@seadersn, the dev who does the H930 TWRP flashable zips says he will have that completed and uploaded by Saturday night.
