Hi there. As the title says I think I got in some serious trouble. Ok so today I got the brilliant idea to try to upgrade my software from android 2.2(froyo) to 4.4(kitkat). But since I missed some warnings from the guide I deleted my 2.2 software (from bootloader) and then I while I tried to install the 4.4 kitkat along with CM well it didnt booted anymore(it appeared only SAMSUNG screen along with website). And to add to my stupidity I tried to install CWM from the bootloader and now I cant even acces the bootloader. Did my phone became unusable? Can I do something about it?I hope u understood me and sorry if I posted in wrong forum.

okay, back to my problem.
i got a new i9305 and -as you can think- i want to root it.
have rooted my desire before, so im not 100% noobish, but i want to go the easiest way and use the given tools.
ive downloaded this one:
Toolkit 6.0
installed it and now i even got problems BEFORE i even started it
trying to translate:
"System could not find the provided path. Command "C:\Users\Little~1." is misspelled or could not be found.
System could not find the provided path.."
i dont know if this is a pc problem or caused by the tool.
have already changed the username but it did not change anything.
reinstalled and downloaded twice..
do you have a clue what might be the problem?
regards from germany
Edit: And do you think this Program will work on Win8?
Does anyone tried this on that OS (Maybe this question is pointed on the developer, hehe)?

After reading a quite high amount of pages and getting some help from the users here in xda there was nothing that could be done. condi said to me about my case that if I could access the adb or if I've had installed the backdoor after root there was something that can be done. Did you do that? Like I didn't, I had to put it on support (not a word on why, just told I got stuck after installing the JB update) and they took a week to fix it but no problem was placed. Good luck
Hello guys, I'm knee deep in ****.
I recently got tired with my E10i, so I decided that it needed a better ROM and kernel. So I went ahead and rooted it and unlocked the bootloader, atleast I thought that, and installed Clockworkmods recovery since I'm familiar with how it works from my Nexus 7 which I have flashed countless times.
Since I've done this before I didn't think that anything would go wrong. That was until I found it a bit weird that I got error 7 on everything I tried to flash. So I fooled around with the recovery thinking that it was just a simple fix I needed to execute.
I then found out that I wasn't able to boot into the official firmware which makes me unable to unlock the bootloader, I think.
Flashtool isn't able to flash anything either and reports that my bootloader is indeed locked.
Please give me some suggestions or solutions to how I can make my E10i flashable again.
Thanks in advance guys!
Hello all,
I'm new to rooting and flashing (well, phones at least ) so yes, I am a n00b when it comes to this. I've tried searching the forum but I can't get any further with my problem. If there is a post on this, I hope someone can point me to it and I appologise for unnecessarily starting a new thread.
I have an old Samsung Nexus S which I want to root and flash cyanogenmod on. Since this is the first time I do this I decided to use a step by step guide on nexusshacks.com (there is probably one on this site too, but hey, that's the one I accidentally stumbled upon). The thing is that my device stated, when I started the bootloader (volume up and power): "state unlocked" which is supposed to mean that my device was already rooted. I was surprised; the device is my ex-girlfriend's which got it from one of her friends. Someone might have tampered with it but for the love of the Lord I couldn't figure out whom this could have been. Now, I started the rootchecker app and this said the device was not properly rooted, so I decided to follow the steps on the website mentioned anyways.
At some point during the procedure the programme stated: "device already rooted", which would have been ok since that was my goal anyways, but then the trouble started. I installed rom manager, but when I want to flash clockwordmod recovery it says: "an error occured while flashing your recovery". I tried to "reboot into Recovery" in the app but it just doesn't do anything, it doesn't respond when I tap it.
I also tried to start recovery from the bootloader menu but then I get an android lying dead on it's back with a red triangle hovering over his belly (sad picture, brought me to tears). Now I found out this means that I am in stock recovery (whereas I am supposed to be in clockworkmod recovery, I think) but I don't know what that means or what I am supposed to do next.
Now, what I want to be able to is as simple as it is difficult (for me, that is): flash roms. But I can't back-up my current system and settings so I am a little confused as to what is the best next step: just try to flash a rom anyways (dunno if it will work) or fix the problem with clockworkmod. If it is the latter, I would really like to know how.
Sorry for the long story. I didn't want it to be incomplete (which it still might be, come to think of it...).
Sincerely,
Nie
Hey, im getting this problem and don't know what to do, im on 10.3.12.0 PFQMIXM and using this stock room https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi...-a3-magisk-t3958509/post81235879#post81235879 in which i used to recover my phone that was with a wrong stock room and wi-fi problems.
I'm actually trying to root again, i did already when it was in 10.3.8 but some magisk module bricked my phone and i updated to a version that didn't have a stock room for rooting aroud here, then i used a wrong stock room by mistake and then managed to put the correct one i pointed above, no problems on the phone so far except this update, i didn't root yet because i was getting the fastboot screen at the end instead of a rotted phone (in this tutorial https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a3/how-to/guide-how-to-root-mi-a3-magisk-t3958509) so i just got back to a stock room, also no magisk installed and already cleaned the phone, but i keep getting this error.
thanks in advance
