p.s. my battery life is bad and the data signal is ****ty as well, besides that it pretty mutch works.

Hi everybody, I installed the custom ROM but I have a problem.
Whenever I connect to the Internet, my whole system is getting really, really slow (so slow that it is not usable anymore and I have to do a hard reset).
Does anybody have an idea how to fix this?
And are there any Android 2.3.X Custom Roms for the U8850 available?

That kernel (The one with 1900 MHz overclock) works on Android 4.3.1 version? I was a little dissappointed when i saw that it could work only to 1500 MHz. I have backuped my ROM, but i still wan't to ask before trying. Thanks for reading.
Need partitions for CM11
Can anybody reupload the partitions? Android 4.4.4 is my "dream". And i heared that it uses less ram! AWESOME!
I already have the CM11 and the GApps, but i need the partition files. Or i dont need them? I can configure for myself in CWM Recovery?

where are you guys downloading this ROM? the link in the OP just directs me to a file host that seems to want me to download an .exe, and im unwary of that.

Just installed this ROM yesterday. Seems great so far. It's fast and battery life seems to be very nice.
Only one thing that bugs me.. The german translation sometimes is a little bit weird. Is there a way I can change this on my own? Anything to edit? A little hint would be greatly appreciated.

Question about True Beyond 3G phone and stock ROM
Hello.
I have a True Beyond 3G device from Thailand. Is it basically the same as the Karrbon S5 Platinum? The reason I ask is that the phone was messed up and was stuck at boot image and I flashed to it a supposed stock ROM known as 'Bunso ROM (Miui)' (version 1.1) and the phone can now boot up and everything works, except wifi which refuses to turn on and find and networks.
You tap Wifi to turn it on and it just gives a message saying wifi is being turned on and then it turns itself off (the wifi icon switches to Off) and it seems wifi is not working so I cannot apply any updates that may fix this. Is this a kernel issue? If so, how can I fix the issue so that wifi is working?
Also, is it really based on a Kaarbon S5 Platinum? It looks the same and the specs are the same but my phone is single SIM and not dual-SIM, would that make a difference?'

I have been using it for a couple of weeks (from its developer version).
All the bugs are now resolved.
U can enjoy Kitkat now :highfive:
If you are not sure, make a backup of current ROM before proceeding so that u can revert back anytime :fingers-crossed:

3G Only mode does not work
Been using this rom for a full day, Good battery life, smooth and fast, no lags.
The only issue I am facing is that when I try to switch my network to 3G only mode there is no signal.
I tried every thing but still 3G only mode is not working.
Please suggest any workaround.

This is a very good ROM for Xolo Q800 with Android KitKat (4.4.2).
Unfortunately root option not working. Please guide how to root this ROM.

can someone plz help me. I have flashed the firmware & then flashed the patch... It completes flashing successfully..but at the first boot setup.. I cannot select the language.. Maybe the touch calibration / its driver is not available.. And so i am not able to complete the setup.. Someone plz help!!! Please
Does this rom supports swapping?
can i do swapping of internal sd and phone storage on this rom.. my device is xolo q800.
And feedback for this rom: this rom is working great. It should include google maps as default application.. however i did that using mobileuncle tools.. but was not able to move esexplorer to the system & make it a system app. battery is working good on this rom.. I am currently lot of storage shortages.. n so looking out for swapping the internal sd (of 2gb) n append it to phone storage so that i can get more space for installing more apps.
please suggest me a method or app for doing this too.. thank you

if you flashed the patch it should not suppose to happen
please check in which order you flashed
you should flash ROM first then patch.

The ROM is pre-rooted.
You don't need to root it again.

I guess that Huawei P8 may have put something within the actual operating system itself, that developers are finding it hard to work around what ever is there. Code on devices from china, and Roms that have been branded can become very complicated and complex.
In a nutshell, the operating system that Huawei has developed for us it quiet fashionable, and unique. Taking away the whole huawei EMUI 3.0 experience more or less leaves the phone looking sorry for itself. The rom has been developed for the style of the phone to give users the buzz of amazement, that you dont usually get with custom roms. No Bugs! No rooting! No bricking!
If you want, i can have a look at creating a custom rom. similar to the nexus 6's? i too like pure stock android.
